Chapter 28: I Won’t Disturb You Anymore

Xie Miaohan’s handsome face lost its color, his voice trembling as never before, “Gu Huaiye, come down first. It’s dangerous there.”

Seeing him like this, the corners of Gu Huaiye’s mouth couldn’t help but turn up.

“Have you fallen in love with me?”

Xie Miaohan lightened his breathing and nodded. “Yes.”

Gu Huaiye’s eyes changed slightly, unsure if it was disappointment or helplessness.

“Gu Huaiye! Come down first, we can talk about the rest properly.” Xie Miaohan’s voice became extremely anxious.

Gu Huaiye stared quietly at Xie Miaohan.

Looking at this man he had loved for more than ten years, he wanted to memorize the other’s face. If there was a next life, he must avoid this person.

“Sorry.” Xie Miaohan immediately wiped it off for him.

Xie Miaohan hugged Gu Huaiye tightly, pressing his cheek against Gu Huaiye’s forehead.

“Sleep. I won’t disturb you anymore.”

Early in the morning, the servant coming to work saw the scene in the yard and screamed in fright.

Half an hour later, police cars and ambulances arrived.

Xie Miaohan hugged Gu Huaiye very tightly; the medical staff and police couldn’t separate them no matter what.

Helpless, a high-ranking Alpha police officer released pheromones to suppress Xie Miaohan.

Xie Miaohan watched helplessly as Gu Huaiye’s body was carried away. In his agitation, the blood suppressed in his throat could no longer be held down; after spitting out a mouthful of blood, he fainted.

When he woke up again, his expression returned to indifference, as if he had put on a mask, his face no longer showing emotions.

Both the roof and the yard of the villa had surveillance. After the police confirmed it was suicide, they quickly closed the case.

During the last statement with Xie Miaohan, the police officer looked at the pitiful Omega in front of him and couldn’t help but comfort him, “Please accept my condolences.”

Chen Zirui’s breath hitched. “So you never had feelings for him?”

Chen Zirui couldn’t bear it anymore and raised his fist again.

Father Chen’s face looked terrible. He hurriedly stepped forward to pull Chen Zirui’s arm. “Don’t cause trouble here. Go back with me.”

Chen Zirui pushed Father Chen away, glaring viciously at Xie Miaohan.

“Someone like you will go to hell sooner or later!”

Father Chen was startled and forcibly dragged Chen Zirui out.

“If you keep messing around, Laozi will beat you to death when we get back.”

Just as the two reached the door, Xie Miaohan suddenly spoke.

“What did you say to Gu Huaiye at the auction that day?”

Chen Zirui’s footsteps paused.

Perhaps to seek justice for Gu Huaiye, he turned around and deliberately lied to disgust Xie Miaohan.

“What else could I say? Just complaining about you.” Chen Zirui said through gritted teeth, “He said he was disgusted to death by your pheromones, cheap and smelly. Every time he marked you, he almost vomited.”

Father Chen felt it was a bit excessive, covered Chen Zirui’s mouth, and dragged him away.

Xie Miaohan’s eyes couldn’t reveal his emotions. After a long while, he lifted his eyes to look at the portrait.

In the portrait, the young man’s smile was brilliant and bright, just like when they first met, stinging Xie Miaohan’s eyes.

“Is what he said true?” Xie Miaohan asked softly.

Unfortunately, no one would ever give him the answer.
