Chapter 35: A New Prey?

“Green tea?” Chen Zirui asked in confusion. “No, do you have some misunderstanding about him?”

Gu Huaiye scoffed and withdrew his gaze.

A moment later, Chen Zirui heard Gu Huaiye whisper, “Fake as hell.”

He truly became a top student, but also became mean at the same time.

Two days later, Gu Huaiye finished class and agreed to meet Chen Zirui at the cafeteria for lunch.

Chen Zirui finished class half an hour later than them, so Gu Huaiye found an empty seat first and read economic terms on his phone.

“Probably not joining.”

Gu Huaiye paused in his eating, looking at Xie Miaohan in disbelief.

The anger and disappointment in his heart grew continuously.

Originally, he was going to queue, but as soon as Xie Miaohan heard it was for Gu Huaiye, he immediately got up and went to the milk tea shop.

With a “clatter,” Gu Huaiye actually threw the milk tea into the trash can.
