Part 4
Tang Yue: “He was born not long after that. Xiao Mie, you’re so silly.”
“Laughing to death, Tang Yue, you actually dare to call your son silly.”
“Jiang Shulu really isn’t pretending anymore. His eyes are practically stringing silk (full of desire), tsk tsk tsk.”
Tang Mian: “Anyway, I want to be the flower boy at Daddy’s wedding.”
Tang Yue: “Wait until Daddy releases the new album. Work will be very busy later, and Xiao Mie has to go to school too.”
Yao Xuanyu: “Where is Xiao Mie going to school? Can he be with me?”
The little boy sat up straight and proper everywhere, looking quite different from Tang Mian who grew up free-range.
But they were children after all. When they got together, that stiffness dissipated, and they often chased and played.
Tang Mian glanced at Tang Yue and asked: “Can I?”
Tang Yue looked at Jiang Shulu: “Can he?”
Liu Xichao really couldn’t stand it anymore: “Tang Yue, can you have some backbone? He’s not the captain managing you anymore. Why do you have to ask him everything?”
He was practically like a family member on the bride’s side worrying his heart out. He took a deep breath and leaned into Tang Yue’s ear: “You make Jiang Shulu let you manage all the money.”
Tang Yue let out an “Ah.”
“What what?”
“What is this internal group split scene? Feeling like Yao Lixin and Liu Xichao are both Tang Yue’s maiden family, hahaha.”
“Jiang Shulu, isolated and helpless.”
Tang Mian heard it and said in a smaller voice: “Daddy can’t manage it.”
Liu Xichao raised an eyebrow: “Your dad is too easy to fool. Be careful Jiang Shulu runs away with the money.”
Jiang Shulu raised an eyebrow at Tang Yue.
When acquaintances joked, there were no taboos. If the livestream wasn’t still on, Liu Xichao might have said something even more outrageous.
There were no other arrangements today. Mealtime was just a bunch of people chatting blindly.
Tang Yue held his treasure and shook his head seriously: “Shulu-ge wouldn’t.”
Yao Lixin: “Come on, didn’t Jiang Shulu manage Tang Yue’s money before? He could be a senior executive in any company, yet he became Tang Yue’s personal financial assistant.”
Tang Yue blinked, practically a scaled-up version of the child in his arms. He was so cute that Liu Xichao’s heart bubbled.
He rubbed Tang Yue’s head: “Forget it. It’s a good thing you found Jiang Shulu. We wouldn’t agree if it were anyone else.”
Tang Yue: “Why?”
Liu Xichao said “Wow”: “Do you have other candidates? That’s good too. Tell Brother, let’s hear it. One should always have a few backup options.”
He acted like a relationship guru. Tang Yue asked curiously: “Then, Third Brother, do you have other boyfriends besides Mr. Jiang?”
Liu Xichao quickly covered Tang Yue’s mouth: “You can’t say that.”
Yao Lixin almost vomited from laughing: “Would he let you know if he did?”
Liu Xichao: “I don’t! Where would I find such an old man.”
Tang Yue thought of Jiang He’s appearance. He felt Jiang He looked quite old, but still had a mature charm. He nodded and praised: “Mr. Jiang looks very reliable.”
Jiang Shulu sat on the side peeling an orange for Yao Xuanyu. He looked very leisurely, but on screen, he always gave the audience the feeling of being judged by his wife’s family during the New Year.
Hearing this sentence, he abruptly raised his eyes and asked: “What about me?”
This scene was just too funny, provoking a wave of wicked comments in the barrage.
“Laughed to death, sudden alertness!”
“Jiang He is a typical wealthy old man. He has a ‘white moonlight’ (first love/unobtainable love). If it were me, I wouldn’t choose him.”
“That white moonlight is an actor. Liu Xichao is filming in the same circle now. So awkward.”
“Doesn’t that person also have a fixed partner?”
“They divorced.”
Tang Yue: “You are very good.”
Two seconds later, Tang Yue smiled broadly: “Is the Captain jealous?”
Tang Yue held Tang Mian like holding a doll, tilting his head and saying: “I will like the Captain more every day than the day before.”
Tang Mian: “What about me?”
Tang Yue kissed the child hard: “Isn’t this good?”
Tang Mian: “Stop kissing me! Transfer it! Give it to Daddy Shulu! Xiao Mie feels very troubled.”
Tang Yue: “Why! There’s no son who doesn’t like his dad!”
Tang Mian: “You have a boyfriend, why do you have to kiss me every day?! I quit!”
This sentence was déjà vu. Liu Xichao was about to vomit from laughter.
Yao Lixin fell directly to the side. The hot pot was still bubbling. Tang Yue glanced at Jiang Shulu.
Jiang Shulu blinked at him.
Yao Lixin: “Our junior brother is holding a concert here in the next two days. Shall we go?”
After speaking, Liu Xichao laughed again.
Yao Lixin: “What are you laughing at?”
Liu Xichao: “Thinking of how we used to wear women’s clothing to go watch concerts.”
That was really too long ago. There were quite a few question marks in the barrage, but old fans still remembered, followed by a wave of ‘hahaha’.
Tang Mian: “What does that mean? Did everyone wear skirts?”
Tang Yue let out an “Uh.”
Jiang Shulu nodded: “Your dad and those two uncles wore skirts, and then were photographed.”
Liu Xichao: “Come on, you were mistaken for having good news (marriage) approaching!”
Yao Lixin: “Tang Yue told me his butt pad was squeezed out. I can’t, it’s too funny.”
“F**k, who posted the picture? I’m dying of laughter. Why could these people take photos with fans so openly back then?”
“The famous quote ‘If we can’t be a boy group, we’ll be a girl group’ came from here.”
“Tang Yue’s back figure in women’s clothing was really curvy and enchanting, hahahaha.”
Tang Yue was too embarrassed to lift his head: “Don’t mention it. I was scolded to death by Sister Lin, saying that even in women’s clothing, I didn’t do my makeup nicely.”
Jiang Shulu: “That was Liu Xichao’s fault.”
Before Liu Xichao could refute, Jiang Shulu added a sentence: “But you were very beautiful back then.”
The next second, Tang Yue’s phone lit up. He took a peek. It was from Jiang Shulu.
—Can you wear it again if there’s a chance?
