Tonight I Become My Male God’s Kitten—Lick Him! chapter 13

Chapter 13: Mu Bao Is So Popular

Liang Yuhang looked into his pale green eyes.

Under the table, that pair of sneakers was still bumping into him intermittently, the force very light, teasing like scratching an itch through a boot.

“I don’t think so,” Liang Yuhang said.

Mu Feng didn’t feel defeated. This was the expected answer. He simply obediently pulled his foot back. “Alright.”

Jiang Yuan had just finished a round of verbal sparring with Zhou Tiantian, winning by a narrow margin. Before he could catch his breath, he reached out and yanked the person next to him. “Mu Bao, come out for a sec.”

Mu Feng stood up with a smile and followed him. “What’s wrong? Got bullied by him and need to hide and cry secretly?”

“We’ve only known him a few days, but the tone of your voice is becoming more and more like Liang Yuhang’s,” Jiang Yuan said, hitting the nail on the head. “Toxic.”

The two walked to the corridor outside the dining hall, standing opposite each other. Mu Feng smiled at him. “Expression so serious, what happened?”

“Don’t beat around the bush with me. Are you trying to chase Liang Yuhang?” Jiang Yuan took this matter very seriously. His brother had bad eyesight; he had to pull him back from the precipice in time.

With that cold iceberg, even if they dated, it would be sexual frigidity plus cold violence. Is that any way to live?

Mu Feng didn’t plan to let this blabbermouth know. “I told you no. I’m not like you, with a brain full of only dating.”

He paused, then twisted the knife: “And before you even start dating, you get strangled in the cradle.”

“Then why are you so good to Liang Yuhang?” Jiang Yuan extended two fingers, poking vaguely in his direction. “My eyes are a ruler.”

“I want to follow him and study hard,” Mu Feng mixed truth with lies. ” given my family situation, I might want to fight for some shares or inheritance later. I can’t be too useless, don’t you think?”

Jiang Yuan was an only child, a kid who grew up in a honey pot. He couldn’t understand the pressure of having three older siblings like Mu Feng did. For a moment, he was rendered speechless. “So, our Mu Bao… suddenly grew up.”

“Any more questions?” Mu Feng poked his forehead. “Don’t be paranoid all day.”

Jiang Yuan was still worried and said seriously, “Then swear to me. You and Liang Yuhang only have a pure study and work relationship.”

“I swear.” Mu Feng lazily held up three fingers. “If I like Liang Yuhang, I’ll undergo a secondary differentiation and become an Alpha.”

Jiang Yuan went “Wah,” and ruthlessly raised the stakes. “Not just become an Alpha, but be f*cked by an Alpha.”

He shook his head and said, ” pretty vicious, right? Heard it hurts like hell. So, don’t have weird thoughts.”

Mu Feng raised an eyebrow very lightly.

That’s not a vicious curse; that’s a beautiful wish.

He smiled and nodded. “Fine, it’s a deal.”

Jiang Yuan finally felt relieved, happily hooking his arm around Mu Feng’s shoulder and returning to their seats. The food was on the table, but they were polite enough not to start, waiting for them.

“What were you whispering about?” Lu Zhuo looked up. “If you’re thinking of sneaking out, I suggest you don’t.”

“How is that possible?” Jiang Yuan was still worried. He had to monitor those two constantly. What if they got together while he wasn’t looking?

He learned from his pain and changed his plan. “I’ve decided to study hard this summer vacation, turn over a new leaf, and become a new person.”

Lu Zhuo smiled and placed a peeled shrimp into his bowl. “Finally behaving.”

Mu Feng knew exactly what he was plotting just by listening casually.

Forget it. With that brain of his, he’s easier to fool than Liang Yuhang.

Looking up, he found Liang Yuhang looking at him probingly. His pupil color was dark, almost black, carrying a hint of indistinct gray. When he looked at people, there was always the illusion that he could see through everything.

Mu Feng masked his panic with a smile. “Teacher Liang, doesn’t the food suit your taste?”

“It’s okay.” Liang Yuhang wasn’t a picky eater. When busy, nutrient solutions sufficed.

“You call this okay? Do you usually eat garbage?” Jiang Yuan was about to vomit, munching on the peeled shrimp. “Bro, can I apply to change the chef? I’ll pay for it, benefit the whole base.”

Mu Feng offered a warm reminder: “Your card is suspended. You’re swiping my money. Please don’t pretend to be a tycoon everywhere, thanks.”

Jiang Yuan: “……………”

Liang Yuhang couldn’t help it; the corner of his lips hooked up very slightly. The stand-up comedy was indeed quite good.

When in a good mood, he wasn’t so unapproachable. He slowly drank a mouthful of soup and said, “Changing the chef tomorrow. I’ll talk to the kitchen.”

Jiang Yuan’s mood was extremely complicated for a moment. Eating someone’s food softens the mouth. How could he roast Liang Yuhang in the future?

Zhou Tiantian, however, had a clear sense of good and evil. “Thank you, Teacher Liang. You are just like your brother, both big good people.”

Liang Yuhang caught the keywords and spoke three words coldly: “Liang Jingyi?”

“Yeah, didn’t you know? My mentor is him,” Zhou Tiantian praised with eyes full of adoration. “He actively asked for me. I was really flattered. You brothers came to the same base and didn’t notify each other?”

Lu Zhuo exchanged a look with Liang Yuhang. “I didn’t know either. Didn’t hear the Commander-in-Chief mention it. His research institute is so far away; he actually transferred over too.”

Mu Feng’s expression, however, sank completely.

This dog actually dared to come. He was really afraid his life wasn’t long enough.

Liang Yuhang’s heart… the last accident… he had too many scores to settle with this person.

“You know him too?” Liang Yuhang caught his subtle expression.

“Don’t know him.” Mu Feng smiled. “How could I know your brother? I just felt that since he came without you knowing, your brotherly relationship must be average. Teacher Liang, I stand unconditionally on your side.”

Liang Yuhang found it funny. “Elementary school students forming cliques? Childish.”

But obviously, his expression softened a bit.

Mu Feng indeed had a very significant advantage: very obedient, very well-behaved, very observant.

Zhou Tiantian was still praising: “My mentor is really nice. He couldn’t come yesterday, so he sent me a pile of materials in the middle of the night, afraid I wouldn’t catch up.”

Jiang Yuan said sarcastically, “That’s called nice? If I give you all my materials, will you kneel and call me Daddy?”

“Peh,” Zhou Tiantian spurned. “I admire the strong. You’re too weak.”

Just as he finished speaking, he saw a familiar figure in the distance and waved his hand. “Mentor, I’m here.”

Mu Feng looked over and met Liang Jingyi’s gaze briefly. Those eyes—gloomy, cunning—shifted away in an instant.

“Brother, long time no see.” Liang Jingyi walked over with hands in his pockets, stopping in front of them. “Can I sit here?”

“No seats left. Adding another person would be crowded,” Mu Feng spoke first. “How about you and Tiantian sit at the next table?”

It was a round table; indeed, it was awkward to add more. A seamless excuse.

Zhou Tiantian was very sycophantic. “I’m fine with anything. What do you want to eat? I’ll go get it.”

Liang Jingyi gave a very light tsk. “Forget it, no appetite.”

Liang Yuhang looked up at him. Even though he was sitting, the pressure seemed stronger than the person standing opposite. “On purpose?”

Aside from going home, two people who deliberately avoided each other meeting here could only be intentional.

Liang Jingyi nodded, admitting it. “Mainly missed my brother. And also wanted to see how the kid my brother brought is doing.”

He shifted his gaze, landing on Mu Feng. He sized him up for a few seconds, from that beautiful face to the fair neck, down to the narrow waist. “Pretty good.”

Mu Feng looked at him coldly. “Not really. My temper is particularly bad. When I see unlikeable people, I love to curse. If I accidentally offend you in the future, don’t take it to heart.”

Jiang Yuan looked at him, totally confused. He had never seen anyone with a better temper than Mu Feng, always gentle and warm, as if no one could provoke him into a loss of control.

But the smell of gunpowder between these two… they shouldn’t have had any interaction. Couldn’t figure it out. Brain needed to grow.

Liang Jingyi smiled. “Very cute. I even want to swap with you. Brother, are you willing to swap?”

Zhou Tiantian wasn’t picky at all. Such a good thing? “Sure, no problem. Following either one, I’d die of happiness.”

Liang Yuhang leaned back slightly, his back against the chair. Backlit, his pitch-black eyes revealed a hint of light gray.

“You dare try.”

These three words fell, pinning Mu Feng to the spot.

He certainly knew that he was just a tool Liang Yuhang used to fight back. This person—it could be anyone. In the same situation, Liang Yuhang would give the same answer.

But even as a tool, he was very willing to charge into battle for Liang Yuhang.

“Then I’ll just try to curry favor with this little friend,” Liang Jingyi tilted his head slightly. “Let’s see how long it takes to turn his mentor into me.”

Jiang Yuan looked bewildered. “Is our Mu Bao suddenly so popular? What are the criteria?”

“Say less.” Lu Zhuo reached out to cover his mouth.

Zhou Tiantian was also envious to the extreme. “It definitely isn’t grades. Big shots have unique selection standards. Ahhhh so cool, someone come fight for me.”

Mu Feng thought, in his observations over the past few years, Liang Jingyi was just such a person.

Whether it was people, objects, or feelings—as long as his brother possessed it, regardless of whether he liked it or not, he had to snatch it away.

“I do indeed admire Teacher Liang very much.” Mu Feng resumed his usual gentle, harmless smile.

Liang Jingyi was slightly shaken by this address.

Liang Yuhang also looked up. Teacher Liang, Teacher Liang, Teacher Liang. Mu Feng had called him that many times before.

At this moment, who was he calling?

Mu Feng knew both brothers were looking at him, treating him as a fortress. Whoever planted their flag would win this moment’s victory.

“Not the Liang of Liang Jingyi, but the Liang of Liang Yuhang.”
