Chapter 20: Xu Lingfeng
Early the next morning, Shen Zhouyue was awakened by the movement beside him.
He opened his eyes, frowned, reached out to rub his eyes, obviously not fully awake yet, and mumbled incoherently, “So noisy…”
Yu Tingzhou’s movement of putting on clothes paused for a moment. When he continued, his movements were much lighter.
“Go back to sleep. We’re going back to the old residence tonight.”
The events of last night still made him somewhat unhappy, so his tone of voice was a few degrees colder.
Shen Zhouyue nodded indifferently and dragged his sore body into the bathroom.
By the time he came out, Yu Tingzhou was no longer at home.

He opened his sketchbook and saw the portrait of Yu Tingzhou that was half-drawn on the plane yesterday.
With a complicated expression, he turned the page, wanting to compose a picture, but he was restless, always thinking about that unfinished drawing.
Looking at the blank drawing board in front of him, Shen Zhouyue remained silent for a long time before returning to the previous page.
Images of Yu Tingzhou’s well-proportioned muscles and how they moved during his thrusts surfaced in his mind.
Shen Zhouyue’s face couldn’t help but flush red, looking very alluring, which caught the eye of a passerby not far away.
With interest, he walked to Shen Zhouyue’s side, “Where did this beauty come from? I’ve never seen you here before.”
The voice in his ear brought Shen Zhouyue back to reality.
He hurriedly covered the drawing board and looked at the speaker.
The man was wearing a shirt with the top three buttons undone, revealing some chest muscles.
A pair of peach blossom eyes rippled with affection, the corners of his mouth turned up, carrying a hint of teasing and unruliness.
Shen Zhouyue didn’t know the person in front of him, and seeing his dissolute appearance, he immediately felt a bit dissatisfied.
He didn’t speak, just packed up his drawing board and other things, intending to go back.
But Shen Zhouyue intending to leave didn’t mean the man was willing to see him go.
The next second, an arm appeared in front of him.
The owner of the arm was impressively that man from just now.
“Something the matter?”
Seeing that he couldn’t just leave, Shen Zhouyue looked unhappy and couldn’t help but glare at the man.
The man wasn’t angry, still smiling radiantly.
“Nothing major, just saw a beauty and wanted to chat for a while.”
“I wonder which family the beauty belongs to? How come I haven’t seen you here before?”
Shen Zhouyue didn’t want to cause trouble, but he didn’t want to face trouble either; his expression already showed some impatience.
“My affairs have nothing to do with you, sir.”
Saying this, he took advantage of the man’s inattention, changed direction, and bypassed him.
This time the man didn’t block Shen Zhouyue’s path. Instead, he smiled and muttered to himself, “Thought it was a rabbit, but now it looks more like a cat.”
Shen Zhouyue didn’t know what the man said, nor did he know the man’s identity. Holding the drawing board, he planned to continue finishing his painting in the villa’s courtyard.
Being too engrossed caused him to forget the passage of time. It wasn’t until the sun went down and the light slowly dimmed that Shen Zhouyue came back to his senses.
His stomach couldn’t help but growl a few times.
Having not eaten all day, when he stood up, his vision went black, and he almost fainted. Fortunately, he reached out in time to hold onto the easel beside him, preventing a fall to the ground.
Some slight noises came from outside the house. Shen Zhouyue frowned, packed up the easel, walked out, and saw Yu Tingzhou.
“Let’s go, it’s time to leave.”
Shen Zhouyue held the easel in his arms and nodded, “I know, I’ll go put my things away first.”
His movements were quick, and he came out tidied up in a short while.
Soon, they arrived at the old residence.
As soon as Shen Zhouyue got out of the car, he received a warm welcome from Fang Hanyun.
“How was the honeymoon?”
Hearing this question, Shen Zhouyue’s expression was somewhat complicated. He quickly lowered his head to hide his expression.
“It was quite good. We went to many places we hadn’t been to before and met some of Tingzhou’s friends.”
Hearing this, Fang Hanyun immediately became interested.
“Who did you meet?”
Shen Zhouyue avoided the important details and spoke lightly about the situation at the time.
Worried that saying too much would lead to mistakes, Yu Tingzhou walked up to them and smiled, “Mom, if we wait any longer, the food will get cold.”

After dinner, Fang Hanyun didn’t keep Shen Zhouyue for long.
Since she had confirmed that things between the two children weren’t as she had guessed, why keep holding onto them and affecting their time alone together?
“It’s getting late, you guys hurry back!”
“It’s your Auntie Wang’s birthday in a few days; take Zhouyue with you then.”
Hearing Fang Hanyun’s words, Yu Tingzhou couldn’t help but frown.
If he took Shen Zhouyue with him, it would be equivalent to announcing his identity to others. After divorcing a few months later, people would definitely ask all sorts of questions.
Thinking of this, Yu Tingzhou had a headache, feeling he had made a wrong move.

“Her birthday is in a week. You will go with me on that day.”

“Does that Auntie have any taboos?”
Fang Hanyun had always been good to him. His plan going smoothly was thanks to Fang Hanyun’s help.
Since that Auntie had a good relationship with Mom, he naturally wanted to return the favor.
Yu Tingzhou didn’t know Shen Zhouyue’s thoughts. Seeing him like this, he was a bit surprised but didn’t say much, just briefly described Auntie Wang’s situation.
For the next few days, Shen Zhouyue walked around near Fang Garden during the day. When he saw scenery he liked, he would take out his brush to sketch a bit.
Occasionally, he would meet that dissolute man and learned that the man’s surname was Xu and his given name was Lingfeng.
Hearing this name for the first time, Shen Zhouyue only felt that it was too mismatched with the man.
Just hearing this name, Shen Zhouyue thought he would be a person with a severe and stern personality. The result turned out to be such a character. He wondered if the person who named him regretted it.
On this day, Shen Zhouyue sat by the lake as usual, set up his drawing board, and saw that Xu Lingfeng again.

Xu Lingfeng sat down next to Shen Zhouyue, pointed to a villa facing the lake not far away, and said, “I live right there, so as soon as you come here, I can see you.”
Shen Zhouyue looked up toward the distance, and a very beautiful villa appeared in his line of sight.

After saying this, he stopped speaking.
Xu Lingfeng was also used to Shen Zhouyue’s attitude. He contentedly took out his fishing rod and started fishing.
They had spent the past few days like this.
Shen Zhouyue painted, and Xu Lingfeng fished on the side; the atmosphere was very harmonious.
Yu Tingzhou rarely came back early. Passing by the lake, he saw Shen Zhouyue and Xu Lingfeng sitting together, one painting and one fishing.
