Chapter 24: Touch Me, and I’ll Give You My Life
“I have suppressants.”
Su Miantang opened her medical box.
Seeing this, Countess Joy became even angrier. “Who doesn’t know that suppressants have serious side effects and can only be used a week before the estrus period? Are you toying with me?”
If suppressants were useful, she would have used them long ago!
“This is a new type of suppressant, developed specifically for their constitutions. It can be used during the estrus period. The ingredients are pure, natural, and harmless.”
“New type of suppressant?” Countess Joy paused. “Where did a new type of suppressant come from? Why don’t I know about it?”
“I just developed it.”
Su Miantang wanted to show her the badge on her chest, but realized she had left in too much of a hurry and forgotten to wear it, rushing over in just her casual clothes.
“Countess, I am a researcher at the Imperial National Academy of Sciences. This is my latest research result, and I have a safety certificate for the ingredients. The situation is urgent; every second delayed puts Colonel Fred and Major Enzo in more danger. Please let me go in and try.”
A researcher at the Imperial National Academy of Sciences?
Countess Joy laughed—out of sheer anger.
Did this girl take her for a fool who knew nothing of the outside world? A place like the Academy of Sciences, with such a high threshold and demanding work—when had it ever produced a female? Let alone a researcher!
“Get out!”
“Don’t cause trouble here!”
She couldn’t tolerate her anymore. She opened her palm and activated an S3—Warning Class Pheromone Expulsion.

Su Miantang followed her and soon reached the back mountain.
There stood a tall, completely enclosed building made of steel.
“This is?”
“This is a temporary detention center set up by the military, usually used to hold dangerous prisoners. Now, Fred and Enzo have locked themselves inside.”
Countess Joy wiped away her tears and turned on the visual screen at the entrance. The shocking scenes inside were immediately presented before their eyes.
In the cage, the brothers had completely transformed into their beast forms. Like madmen, they rammed against the walls ceaselessly, smashing until all four walls were dripping with blood. Fred’s claws were mutilated, and Enzo’s emerald green eyes revealed incomparable ferocity, as if he had lost all reason.
Su Miantang: “Open the door quickly, let me in!”
“Yes.”
The girl broke open the ampoule with her bare hands, drew the suppressant into the syringe, and stepped into the pitch-black prison cell.
Into the narrow, stifling space filled with the thick scent of blood, a familiar, cool fragrance suddenly intruded.
Fred and Enzo froze instantly.
Previously, they were in pain, irritable, and mad, even self-harming, but their minds remained clear. They knew clearly that they had been forced into estrus, knew they were fighting against the pheromones. Before Su Miantang could call back their reason, she felt the ferocious Snow Wolf behind her suddenly extend his tongue, frantically licking her hair and cheeks. His limbs rubbed against her madly, as if he couldn’t wait to get something from her.
Dryas.
It was the fresh, elegant scent of Dryas pheromones.
