A Rare Female Becomes an Interstellar Heartthrob Chapter 3

Chapter 3: Tantalizing Pheromones

The foul smell on her body finally dissipated, and the black ash was washed away. A round robot cart entered, bringing her new clothes.

Su Miantang picked them up; it was a pure white dress with a square neckline and a ruffled design, the cuffs adorned with lace patterns, making it look ethereal and pure.

Fred and Enzo waited patiently outside.

The two officers, who usually fought on battlefields and didn’t care for trifles, were now—one seriously adjusting his collar, the other carefully grooming his hair. It was as if they were competing over their images, striving to leave a better impression on the little female. Even the old physician couldn’t help but smile.

Being young is wonderful. The look of serious courting is the most charming moment for a male!

Within half an hour, there was movement in the bathroom.

The two brothers looked up in unison. Upon seeing the little female slowly walking out, their eyes went wide.

Amidst the swirling mist, her thick, dark hair fell wetly. Transparent water droplets rolled down the ends of her hair onto her skin, which was as white and delicate as cream. Her eyes shimmered with light, and her face was glamorous and enchanting. She was simply breathtakingly beautiful—so beautiful that they wanted to kneel on the spot and beg her to be their Female Master!

When they had picked her up on the Planet of Toxic Insects, they found her beautiful and moving, but they didn’t expect her to be even more radiant after a bath, especially her skin.

The Central Planet was close to the sun and had extremely strong ultraviolet rays. Most people had light brown skin. A skin texture as snow-white and delicate as hers was extremely rare, making one want to touch it to feel the smooth and soft texture. If one used a little force, would it leave a pitiable red mark?

The two felt ashamed of the beastly thoughts in their minds.

Su Miantang, however, looked at them with a smile. “Thank you for the dress. I like it very much.”

“I-It’s good that you like it.”

Being thanked once again, Fred actually stuttered. Eager to do something for her, he saw she was barefooted and quickly walked over with new shoes, kneeling on one knee.

“Respected Miss Miantang, please allow me the honor of putting on your shoes.”

“How can I let you do that?”

Su Miantang was startled by his sudden kneeling. Before she could refuse, she saw Enzo approaching with a hair dryer.

“Respected Miss Miantang, please allow me the honor of drying your hair.”

“I…”

Before she could speak, the two had already sprung into action.

Enzo lifted her damp long hair. Just as he was about to turn on the dryer, a faint, ethereal scent of Dryas unexpectedly wafted into his nose. It made his entire nervous system become active; he was so intoxicated that he just wanted to transform into his beast form and roll around comfortably.

When he found her on the Planet of Toxic Insects, she was stained with the foul odor of stink bugs and didn’t have this alluring scent, which was just like pheromones.

However, her information sea was damaged, and even the machine couldn’t detect them. Since this scent was so thin, it shouldn’t be pheromones; it must be a natural body fragrance.

He couldn’t imagine—if this scent were a pheromone, as long as she released even a small concentration, it would make him tremble with pleasure, wouldn’t it?

Fred knelt down. Just as he was about to hold her foot, he caught a scent of an extremely weak Snow Lotus fragrance. It made his hand shake, nearly causing him to drop the shoe. He couldn’t help but lean closer to the white hem of her dress to sniff carefully.

It really was.

The elegant scent of Tianshan Snow Lotus.

So fragrant, so tempting.

It was a pity it was too faint to be associated with pheromones. It must be her natural body fragrance, right? It happened to be the scent he liked.

He really wished he could kneel a bit longer, kneel forever, infinitely inhaling this mesmerizing scent bestowed by the little female.

Su Miantang looked at the two active officers. Worried they were acting this way because of pheromones, she took the initiative to mention, “Officers, when I woke up just now, was I undergoing a physical examination?”

Hearing this, Fred and Enzo instantly snapped out of the fragrance’s intoxication.

Had she already discovered something? Damaged information sea? Unable to trigger pheromones? Or did she ask because she felt they were completely lost?

Pheromones were as important to a female as combat power was to a male. If they were lost, anyone would be despondent and lose their spirit.

But they didn’t have the heart to see the little female look sad. Not at all.

“Respected Miss Miantang, have you tried to trigger your pheromones before?”

Su Miantang shook her head. “No.”

Fred, who had been very worried, felt somewhat relieved. “Then there’s no need to worry too much. The pheromone test just now showed ‘Unknown.’ It has many meanings. It could be that your pheromones haven’t differentiated yet. Sixty percent of females in the Empire possess pheromones from birth, while the other forty percent wait until they are between 18 and 22 years old for them to differentiate. It’s very common.”

“Of course…”

He had to mention the worst possible case.

“It’s also possible that your information sea was severely damaged by a villain, causing injury to your pheromones, which is why they can’t be detected. But please rest assured, the Empire’s technology for repairing pheromones is advanced. As long as you receive treatment and rest peacefully for a while, there will be a certain degree of recovery. We will also do our utmost to capture the person who persecuted you!”

It was just that once pheromones were damaged, it was permanent. Even using the best medicinal agents, the best result would only be a 10% recovery.

Fearing she would be sad, Enzo quickly added, “Not having pheromones won’t affect your health. We won’t discriminate; we’ll treat everyone equally!”

“Really?”

Su Miantang turned her face and gave him a smile.

This smile was like a Dryas flower blooming on a frigid glacier—clean, white, beautiful, and resilient. It mesmerized Enzo so much that even the wind felt crooked.

It was a lie.

He had lied.

To her, he would be more special and devoted than to any other female.

Because she was the female he liked.

“Really!” Fred affirmed.

Su Miantang felt somewhat relieved.

Originally, she had been worried that without pheromones, she wouldn’t be able to survive here.

Now it seemed that the Central Planet truly had respect and love for females carved into its very bones. In ź·ø case, she could survive by her own abilities, just as she did on Earth.

“Thank you.”

“No need for thanks.” Fred’s eyes were filled with smiles. “Respected Miss Miantang, loving and protecting females is a male’s natural mission and glory. You don’t need to thank us; we don’t deserve it.”

“Then you don’t need to be so polite with me either. You can just call me Susu or Tangtang.”

“C-Can we?”

The two brothers were surprised.

In the interactions between males and females, using a nickname was a very intimate act. Especially when the female initiated it, it was equivalent to a signal of goodwill.

“Tangtang!”

“Tangtang!”

They immediately vied to call her that, as if afraid of falling behind.

Su Miantang laughed.

They really liked the sweet feeling.

Suddenly, she was curious—what were their beast forms?

They must be very gentle, right?

Ding-dong—

Outside the medical room, the doorbell rang.

The visual screen indicated that the staff from the Female Protection Agency had arrived.
