Chapter 5: Red Ears
The villa had four floors and was covered by fully smart-home technology. Voice control, automatic sensors, advanced sensor systems—everything was included. Through a real-life screen in the center, one could see the layout of the entire house. Furthermore, a cute little bee robot butler was flying in the hall.
The ultra-sci-fi futuristic design left her dazzled.
Enzo, however, was not satisfied. “This place is too crude.”
Fred also frowned. “Tangtang, if you don’t like it here, I can purchase a fully-equipped manor for you.”
A… a manor?
She didn’t understand the world of the wealthy.
“No need, this place is quite good.”
“Then is there anything you need? we can satisfy any request.”
Need?
She thought for a moment.
“I have amnesia and have forgotten many things. If you’re willing to tell me about the affairs and situation of this country, I would be very happy.”
National affairs and conditions?
There was actually a female who liked listening to such things?
No male could refuse such a request. After all, this was exactly where their interests lay, and it was a great opportunity to showcase their talents.
They nodded excitedly, sitting on either side of Su Miantang, and began to talk incessantly until nightfall, when they had to leave.

“Today is your housewarming; we’ve come specifically to congratulate you. This bouquet… do you like it?”
Su Miantang lowered her head to sniff them.
The stamens were pink and the petals overlapped; these were the Xifu Begonias, known as “fairies” among flowers. They were beautiful, and a faint, warm, soothing fragrance wafted into her nose.
“I like them. They are very fragrant and beautiful.”
The petals were still glistening with dew, looking as if they had been picked just as they bloomed.
“Did you just pick them?”
“N-No.”
Enzo felt a bit guilty.
He was too embarrassed to say he had been squatting there since the middle of the night, waiting for the first light of dawn to hit the flowers so he could pick them for her the moment they slightly bloomed.
“Really?”
Su Miantang saw a suspicious red tint on the tips of his ears. She leaned in slightly, her warm breath spilling entirely onto his slender neck. “Then what’s wrong with your ears? They’re redder than the flowers.”
Boom! The tint that was originally just on the tips of his ears instantly spread to his cheeks and neck. Enzo felt like a roasted prawn under her teasing.
Su Miantang couldn’t help but laugh.
Seeing her laughing and talking happily with Enzo, a ripple of emotion flashed in Fred’s eyes. He put down the items in his hand and walked over.
“Tangtang, I didn’t know what style you liked, so I just picked out a few pieces of furniture. You don’t mind, do you?”
“Of course not.” She looked at him with crescent-moon eyes. “You have great taste!”
“That’s good.”
Her light praise wiped away the subtle bitterness in his heart, leaving him only wanting to work harder to do more.
After the two finished unloading the goods, they worked with the little bee robot to clean and design the layout, resting only when it was very late.
Su Miantang was extremely grateful and thought about how to repay them.
Unexpectedly, it was Fred who pulled a box of candy from his pocket.
“Tangtang, this is for you. Give it a try?”
The candies in the box were square, each wrapped in exquisite star-patterned wrappers. Just looking at them made one feel they were sweet and lovely.

“Is there any other kind of candy?”

Fred and Enzo looked at each other in confusion, their faces as if saying: Candy is candy, what other kinds are there?
Su Miantang understood.
On the entire Central Planet, there was only this one kind of candy; the only difference was the amount of impurities.
The impurity range edible for commoners was between 20% and 40%, while the royal palace controlled it to within 10%.
As someone who loved sweets as much as life itself, she absolutely could not accept this.

She opened the machine, smelled the sweet aroma of the finished product inside, and replied with satisfaction.
[It just so happens I have a surprise for you both as well.]

Prepared specifically for them?
The two brothers were flattered and filled with anticipation.
How could there be such a wonderful female in the world?
