Chapter 1
In the dimly lit underground parking garage, An Le and his friend Xiao Xiao hid behind a pillar not far from the elevator. An Le held a large, realistic-looking fake knife phone case, his hands trembling nervously.
Xiao Xiao comforted him, “Don’t be afraid. My crush is a beautiful man with a good temper. He won’t hurt you. Just act tough. When he comes out of the elevator, you rush over, hold the phone case diagonally, blade facing him, but don’t let him see it’s fake.”
“When he’s scared, I’ll come out and stop you. You run away as soon as I appear. I’ll handle the rest.”
An Le nodded blankly, whispering, “Okay.”
