[ABO] After Accidental Marking, I Became Everyone’s Darling chapter 129

Chapter 129

Xiao Xiao could feel that his gland’s secondary development was complete.

He was becoming more and more sensitive to Gu Qian’s pheromones. Not only could he smell them clearly, but his entire body could feel their effect. These past few days, Gu Qian’s scent alone was sometimes enough to make his legs go weak, and he would grow wet, just like an omega in heat.

He just kept it to himself, going through it.

He didn’t dare say anything, afraid of what Gu Qian might do.

But he also knew that even if he said nothing, Gu Qian would still do it. And now, he would do something even worse.

Xiao Xiao cried, shaking his head.

He didn’t want this. He truly didn’t want to be marked like an omega.

He hated the feeling of being bound like that; he didn’t want his life to end up more and more like his mother’s.

“No, I don’t want to be marked! Please, Gu Qian, I don’t want to be marked. Can’t you just not do it? I’ll be good, I’ll listen to everything you say. I’ll listen to you for the rest of my life, I’ll never leave you. Just don’t mark me, okay? Please…”

He pleaded in despair.

But after Gu Qian laid him on the bed, he asked in a low voice, “If I don’t mark you, will you really stay by my side forever and never run away?”

“That’s impossible, isn’t it?”

“You’d leave me the first chance you got. Only if I mark you will you never leave, because in the entire world, I’m the only one who can get you through your heats. And besides, this is a special kind of mark. A normal hospital won’t be able to remove it.”

Gu Qian’s voice was soft. “Xiao Xiao, after today, we will truly be bound together for life.”

Gu Qian was just as crazy as his father, but he had a few more boundaries; he didn’t commit crimes.

Instead, he directed all his torment onto Xiao Xiao.

He wanted to cradle Xiao Xiao in the palm of his hand and spoil him, but he was always worried Xiao Xiao would run, that he would leave him.

Especially when Xiao Xiao had asked if he was sick; he felt like Xiao Xiao would leave him the very next second.

He couldn’t take that gamble.

He had only ever set his sights on this one person in his entire life. If this person ran away, he would truly go insane.

Gu Qian touched Xiao Xiao’s clothes, unbuttoning them one by one. “Be good,” he said with a smile. “And I’ll be gentle, okay?”

“No, I won’t!”

Pushed to the brink of despair, Xiao Xiao began to struggle with all his might.

Gu Qian didn’t bother trying to physically restrain him. Instead, he released his pheromones, suppressing him completely.

He used his scent to lure Xiao Xiao quickly into heat.

Sure enough, Xiao Xiao soon stopped struggling. His gaze grew hazy, and he started to cling to him, rubbing against him, crying and begging for him.

Gu Qian loved this. He was thrilled. He tilted Xiao Xiao’s chin up and asked in a low voice, “What are you begging me for?”

Xiao Xiao wrapped his arms around Gu Qian’s, his eyes filled with desire. His voice was a choked sob. “Please, give it to me. Mark me…”

“Alright.”

Finally, Gu Qian knotted inside him, his canines sinking into his gland, letting his pheromones flood every part of Xiao Xiao’s body.

It took them a full day and night to complete the permanent marking.

By the time it was over, Xiao Xiao had already passed out.

Gu Qian held his exclusive omega in his arms, smiling like a man possessed. “I’ll be good to you, Xiao Xiao,” he murmured. “I’ll be good to you. I’ll only have you for the rest of my life. There will never be anyone else.”

With the marking complete, Gu Qian’s long-held wish was fulfilled.

They had used up most of the supplies in the house over the past few days. Seeing that Xiao Xiao was still asleep, he tucked the covers around him and went out to buy more things.

He could have had his assistant bring them, but this was his and Xiao Xiao’s home. They had just completed the marking, and he didn’t want anyone else to disturb them. He would buy everything himself.

Not long after Gu Qian left, the sky turned dark.

Soon, a torrential downpour began.

A clap of thunder echoed through the sky, and Xiao Xiao’s eyes flew open.

It was dark. The lights in the room were off.

He looked at the empty room and instinctively called out, “Gu Qian?”

But no one answered.

Another clap of thunder, and the windows rattled violently. The sound of rain hitting the glass was terrifyingly clear, as if it were right next to his ear.

The thunder was even worse, each boom shaking the very air, feeling as though it would strike him right there on the bed.

Xiao Xiao dove under the covers, not daring to come out. He trembled, whispering, “Gu Qian, Gu Qian, where are you?”

“Gu Qian…”

The storm raged, and the high-rise swayed gently with the wind. Xiao Xiao was on the verge of a complete breakdown.

He didn’t know how much time passed, but finally, the bedroom door opened. With a click, the lights came on.

Xiao Xiao froze for a second, then threw off the covers. Naked, he stumbled out of bed and threw himself into Gu Qian’s arms.

His eyes were filled with tears as he clung to Gu Qian’s shirt. “Husband, where did you go?” he cried. “Is the building going to collapse? The thunder is so loud, the glass is about to shatter! I-I was so scared! I missed you, why weren’t you here…?”

He rambled incoherently, the terror plain in his eyes.

Gu Qian’s heart ached. He held him tightly, walking toward the bed. “Don’t be scared, Xiao Xiao. The building won’t collapse, the glass won’t break, and the thunder won’t get you. I shouldn’t have gone out. I should have stayed with you. It’s my fault. But don’t be scared, I’m back now. You don’t have to be afraid anymore.”

Gu Qian was soaked from the rain. Worried Xiao Xiao would catch a cold, he placed him on the bed, intending to take a quick shower.

But the moment he set him down, he felt Xiao Xiao’s hand clutch the hem of his shirt, a dependent look in his eyes, not letting him go.

Gu Qian sighed. “Be good, Xiao Xiao,” he said softly. “Let go. I’m just going to take a shower. I’ll be right out.”

Just as he finished speaking, another crash of thunder sounded outside.

Xiao Xiao instinctively pressed himself closer, his grip tightening. He shook his head. “No. Don’t go.”

He didn’t want Gu Qian to leave. He wanted him to stay with him, always.

Not only that, but he slowly climbed into Gu Qian’s lap, pressing his warm body against the cold, wet clothes. “You can’t go,” he cried. “You can’t leave me alone, you can’t…”

Gu Qian was helpless. He gently stroked Xiao Xiao’s hair and, in the end, carried him into the bathroom with him.

After they had washed and changed, Xiao Xiao was already asleep, having drifted off in the warm water of the bathtub.

The storm outside still hadn’t stopped. Gu Qian knew Xiao Xiao was scared, so even if he had any ideas, he had to suppress them. He just held him and slept until morning.

When Xiao Xiao opened his eyes, it was already light. He instinctively looked up at Gu Qian, and only after confirming he was still there did he relax.

He lay on Gu Qian’s chest, feeling that his emotions for him were now incredibly strange.

He didn’t know how to describe it, but he truly didn’t want to be left here.

He didn’t want to be alone.

Gu Qian: “If you’re awake, let go. I’ll go make you some food, okay?”

Xiao Xiao shook his head, hugging him tighter. “No,” he whispered. “Don’t let go.”

Gu Qian had woken up long ago and wanted to get up to cook, but Xiao Xiao had been clinging to him all night, barely letting go.

He hadn’t wanted to wake him, so he had waited.

But he hadn’t expected that even now that he was awake, he still wouldn’t let him go.

Gu Qian sighed, his voice incredibly gentle. “You can’t be like this. I need to go make you breakfast, or you’ll be hungry.”

Xiao Xiao just shook his head again. “No, I don’t want to eat. I just want you to hold me.”

“Alright.”

Gu Qian gave in. “Then we’ll hold each other for a little while longer, okay?” he said with a smile.

Xiao Xiao nodded, his eyes filled with joy.

But the promise of “a little while longer” was never fulfilled.

Xiao Xiao wouldn’t let him go, and soon, one thing led to another. They were tangled together from morning until afternoon.

Xiao Xiao was starving. Only then did he weakly push Gu Qian away and let him go make food.

Gu Qian nodded, not even bothering to put on clothes as he got up and walked out.

A moment later, he returned with some snacks and placed them on the bedside table. “The food is cooking. Have some of these first if you’re hungry.”

Xiao Xiao had no energy, but he was hungry enough that he had to eat.

He hesitated for a moment, then sat up, leaning against the headboard to eat the snacks while watching Gu Qian.

Gu Qian thought for a moment and said, “The passcode for the door is six zeros. It only takes about five or six minutes to get downstairs in the elevator. There’s money in the nightstand drawer. If you want to go out, just take it and go have some fun.”

Xiao Xiao froze, then nodded without speaking.

His mouth was full of chips; he had no time to talk to Gu Qian, nor did he know what to say.

After Gu Qian finished cooking, he fed Xiao Xiao and then left.

Lately, An Le had been looking for Xiao Xiao more and more frequently, even getting Lu Heng’s top bodyguard to search for him.

He really didn’t understand why An Le cared so much about Xiao Xiao. Didn’t An Le have Lu Heng now?

But he knew An Le was Xiao Xiao’s bottom line. He couldn’t touch him.

And behind An Le was Lu Heng.

Lu Heng was cut from the same cloth as him. If he really did something to An Le, he would never have a moment’s peace for the rest of his life.

So, he could only hide.

He had to hide all traces and clues about Xiao Xiao, to keep those meddlesome people from finding him.

Not only that, but there were countless matters at the company that he needed to handle, so he couldn’t stay by Xiao Xiao’s side every moment.

Besides, he had already told Xiao Xiao the passcode.

He wanted to see what Xiao Xiao would do now.

Xiao Xiao was alone in the apartment. Just like before, he curled up on the sofa to watch TV.

He didn’t know how long he watched, but suddenly, he threw down the remote, ran back to the bedroom, and opened the nightstand drawer. Sure enough, there was a stack of cash inside.

He picked it up, found a set of clean clothes, and then, holding the money, walked to the front door. He stood in front of the keypad, carefully entering the code.

With a beep, the door really opened.

Gu Qian hadn’t lied to him. The code really was six zeros.

The moment the door opened, Xiao Xiao felt a surge of joy.

But when he saw the small, cramped space of the elevator, he was suddenly hit with an unprecedented wave of fear.

He didn’t know if it was the wind or just his imagination, but he felt the building start to sway again.

Gu Qian had told him it took five to six minutes to get from the 60th floor to the ground. That long… why did it take so long?

“No, I… I can’t go…”

Xiao Xiao’s face was deathly pale. He instinctively backed away, then turned in a panic and ran back into the room, slamming the door shut…
