Chapter 2
“I came myself?”
Lu Heng: “Good.”
Lu Heng didn’t know if An Le was lying, nor did he want to investigate. It was rare to meet him here by such a coincidence. He was in a good mood, his gloominess of recent days disappearing, and he subconsciously curled his lips into a smile.
Lu Heng walked forward, asking, “Robbing my money or my heart?”
Watching the alpha walk towards him step by step, An Le was stunned, “Bo-both.”
An Le was somewhat afraid; he hadn’t intimidated the alpha at all.
Right, no one would be afraid of him. He hadn’t been able to help Xiao Xiao; he had messed up.
But even if he messed up, why hadn’t Xiao Xiao come out yet?
He subconsciously looked back at Xiao Xiao, who was covering his face, looking excited.
An Le didn’t know what to do; his mind was blank.
He saw the alpha step out of the shadows. With the light, and being so close, An Le saw the alpha’s face.
It was extremely aggressive. Although his features were handsome, his first impression was sharp and stern, especially the scar that slanted from his left forehead to the corner of his left eye, adding a touch of ferocity.
He looked frightening and fierce.
Most importantly, An Le remembered that the person who had marked him in the mall restroom half a month ago also had a scar like that.
Could it be… could it be…?
Lu Heng smiled, approaching An Le while unbuttoning his shirt and reaching into his clothes.
An Le was so frightened by his own thoughts that he retreated, his voice choked with tears, “Don’t… don’t laugh. I’m robbing you! You… you respect me! You…”
But before he could finish, he saw the alpha taking out his wallet, bank cards, and car keys, quickly walking to him, snatching the phone case from his hand and throwing it on the ground.
Then he put the watch, wallet, and car keys in An Le’s hands, and while An Le was surprised, he leaned down and kissed him on the cheek, whispering, “Is that enough?”
An Le was dumbfounded, his beautiful eyes wide, his head buzzing.
Lu Heng laughed even harder after discovering that the knife was a phone case, teasingly asking, “If not, come home with me. I also have property deeds, company shares—whatever you want, I’ll give you.”
This was the first time Lu Heng had seen an omega run away after being marked. Wouldn’t they usually seize the opportunity to cling to him?
“What?”
An Le was terrified, his head ringing. He heard Lu Heng’s words, but he felt like he was dreaming, subconsciously blurring reality, thinking it was all fake.
Lu Heng suppressed his smile; he thought this omega was a bit stupid.
Anyone else would have already pounced on him and insisted on going home with him. Only this little fool was still asking what he said.
“Lu Heng.”
Suddenly, someone broke the silence. Hearing a voice, An Le thought Xiao Xiao had come out, so he quickly dropped what he was holding, pushed Lu Heng away, and ran.
He ran very fast, taking the route he and Xiao Xiao had planned. In a short time, he had run out of the parking garage, hiding behind a security booth, crouching on the ground, hugging his legs, and hiding himself in the darkness.
Lu Heng came out right after he hid.
He immediately became too nervous to move. Lu Heng didn’t see him and walked in another direction.
But An Le still didn’t dare to move until Xiao Xiao came out, “Le Le, Le Le?”
An Le looked up, tears streaming down his face, quickly grabbing Xiao Xiao’s hand and crying, “Xiao Xiao, did I mess it up? I’m sorry, I’m sorry…”
Xiao Xiao quickly crouched down and hugged An Le, comforting him, “You didn’t mess it up. You didn’t mess it up. It’s my fault. I shouldn’t have brought you here. I’m the one who should apologize.”
He hadn’t messed it up, he just targeted the wrong person. It was no big deal.
And even if he had messed up, it was fine. He could pursue his crush again, find another way.
But An Le’s emotions broke Xiao Xiao’s heart. He thought An Le was better, but he wasn’t…
“Don’t cry, don’t cry. Good boy, Le Le. I’ll take you home.”
Whether it was ruining Xiao Xiao’s plan or encountering the alpha who had marked him, An Le was still in shock. He agreed to whatever Xiao Xiao said.
He nodded, “Okay.”
An Le lowered his head, watching Xiao Xiao hold his hand and walk out. But as they reached the roadside, they saw Lu Heng standing there with a cold face.
Lu Heng was taller than most alphas, wearing a dark suit in the night, exuding an overwhelming presence. “Where do you think you’re going?”
