Lu Heng’s voice was cold, startling An Le. He whispered, “My name is An… An Le.”
Seeing the omega’s pitiful appearance, Lu Heng curled his lips into a smile and released his pheromones to soothe An Le.
“Nice to meet you, An Le. I’m Lu Heng, your alpha.”
As soon as Lu Heng finished speaking, An Le felt a strong scent of alcohol envelop him.
At Lu Heng’s sudden release of pheromones, the assistant driving in front cursed under his breath, quickly got out of the car, and angrily slammed the door shut.
An Le, however, didn’t notice. This was the first time he had received an alpha’s comforting pheromones. It was warm and comfortable. He didn’t feel scared anymore; he even liked it and wanted Lu Heng to hug him.
Hug him…
Tears streamed down his face. An Le was stunned by this thought; he was completely dazed.
But in a few seconds, he pushed the thought to the back of his mind, the desire for Lu Heng’s embrace growing stronger.
A look of infatuation appeared in An Le’s eyes. He couldn’t help but shift slightly closer to Lu Heng, but remembering Lu Heng’s fierce appearance, he shrank back in fear.
Seeing An Le’s hesitant approach, Lu Heng laughed, “Do you like my pheromones?”
An Le instantly blushed, lowering his head and whispering, “I… I like them.”
No omega dislikes their alpha’s pheromones, and An Le was no exception.
Lu Heng, of course, understood this. He didn’t rush to get out of the car, smiling as he patted his leg, “If you like them, come closer. I’ll give you more.”
An Le was stunned, looking up at Lu Heng in confusion.
The car was darker than outside. An Le could barely see Lu Heng’s face, but he could see the scar on his face.

An Le didn’t speak or move closer. He just clutched his clothes tightly.
He thought, Lu Heng was an alpha. Although he had a scar on his face, he was still very handsome. His clothes were unlike anything An Le had ever seen, but the expensive fabric was evident to the touch. He had a car and a driver.
Even if he had marked him, he still had many omegas to choose from. Why… why do this?
Was he afraid that An Le would sue him?
But Lu Heng didn’t give him much time to think. He directly pulled him into his arms, whispering, “We’ve completed a permanent marking. What do you want? A car, a house, or money?”

“Are you planning to take my pheromones to the Omega Protection Association to report me?”
“Or are you planning to expose me to the whole country at a suitable time, ruin my reputation, and take your revenge?”
An Le shuddered at these possibilities, quickly grabbing Lu Heng’s shirt and crying, “No, I never thought of doing that. Really, you… you believe me. I… I won’t lie to you. Please…”
He didn’t know how Lu Heng would deal with those who wanted to harm him. He was afraid. He was simply driven by his instinct for survival to beg Lu Heng to believe him.
With highly compatible pheromones, it wasn’t just omegas who were attached to and liked alphas; alphas also had a certain degree of infatuation with omegas.
Therefore, seeing An Le crying so humbly, Lu Heng felt a slight pang of sympathy but also a strange irritation.
He suppressed that irritation and asked again, “Is that true? Then, if I hadn’t found you today, what were you planning to do?”
