After Faking Death, the Crazy Black Lotus Became Even Crazier chapter 27.2

Part 2

Nangong Yi, however, did not get angry. He simply said, “If Fellow Daoist can guarantee not to damage this Spirit Horn in the slightest, I can withdraw.”

Everyone was greatly shocked. What?! Spending over ten million to buy a Spirit Horn back but not allowed to touch it? Is this buying an ancestor to bring home?

Xiao Jianming raised an eyebrow. “Agreed.”

The whole audience was in an uproar.

Nangong Yi breathed a sigh of relief and explained, “Many thanks to this Fellow Daoist. I once received help from a remnant spirit of the Lingxi Clan, so I truly cannot bear to see the remains of their kin damaged by others. As for Fellow Daoist’s loss, I will compensate for it later.”

Only then did everyone understand, praising him one after another. As expected of Lord Yinfang, the unique clear stream among the noble families.

Su Huan was also quite touched, thinking that a Gentleman’s Sword was nothing more than this. Nangong Yi lived up to his reputation.

Xiao Jianming sneered. He sure knows how to act.

“No need. I don’t want to show my face.”

After this wave settled, the noble young masters mostly looked down on the subsequent auction items, and things remained calm for quite a while.

Su Huan sat bored on the side, unable to suppress a yawn.

The other cultivators, however, felt the quality of items tonight was good and brought out their savings to bid competitively. The auction house was in full swing, very lively.

After Green Wu finalized a sale with a hammer strike, he didn’t rush to bring out the next item. Instead, he smiled and said, “Everyone knows that the last item is always the most precious thing at the auction. Today’s item is even more incredible; it is the most precious trade item our house has had to date.”

“However, it is a pity that when the owner entrusted this item for sale ten years ago, there was a rule. The starting price is only five spirit stones, but it can only be taken by a destined person. If there is no destiny, it won’t be sold no matter how high the price.”

After Green Wu finished speaking, he flipped his palm and held up a golden box. With a light wave of his pale hand, the box lid opened easily, revealing a burst of brilliant golden light.

Su Huan looked over and saw it was actually an Immortal Sword.

The sword was snow-white throughout, with only three crystal-clear spirit beads inlaid on the hilt in descending order of size. It radiated pure immortal energy. The flowing patterns on the blade carved out two characters: “Haoxue” (Bright Snow). This was the sword’s name.

Su Huan was involuntarily attracted, sighing in his heart at what a beautiful sword it was.

Xiao Jianming saw this from the side and beckoned to him. When Su Huan turned his head, he smiled and whispered in his ear, “What does Shixiong think of this sword?”

Su Huan praised, “Naturally, it’s a good sword.”

This was an Immortal Sword. Looking at its beautiful yet sharp appearance, if he had money, he would buy it no matter what and wear it at his waist every day, letting everyone know he had such a beautiful sword.

Pity I’m very poor. Can’t bring the Immortal Sword wife home, boohoo.

The corner of Xiao Jianming’s mouth hooked slightly. “Since Shixiong likes it, I will gift it to Shixiong.”

Su Huan’s eyes widened in disbelief, and he couldn’t help backing away. When did the Black Lotus become so kind? There must be a trap.

However, as if blind to his resistance, Xiao Jianming grabbed his retreating head, raised a hand, and tapped his index finger between Su Huan’s eyebrows. Su Huan instantly felt a clear breeze sweep through his spiritual platform; it became clear as a mirror, and spiritual power surged.

Su Huan’s eyes widened. He watched helplessly as the Black Lotus’s face suddenly magnified, his pupils shrinking.

Suddenly, a faint sword hum was heard from outside, followed by a gasp of surprise—

“Look quickly, the Immortal Sword moved!”

The next second, a dazzling golden light flashed before his eyes.

Su Huan tilted his head slightly and saw the Immortal Sword hovering in front of him.

Yue Changming’s voice came from outside the curtain: “Pah! This Young Master is actually not the destined master of the Haoxue Sword!”

Nangong Yi also sighed, “A pity I have no destiny with this sword.”

Su Huan was stunned for a moment.

Until he walked out of the auction house hugging the sword, Su Huan still hadn’t reacted.

He asked Xiao Jianming blankly, “Is this sword really mine?”

Xiao Jianming chuckled lightly. “Of course.”

A sword he forged together with his mother—naturally, he could give it to whomever he wanted.

Su Huan was overjoyed. “This sword is mine!”

Having obtained the sword, Su Huan happily hugged it and left the city with Xiao Jianming.

Although he had the sword, he couldn’t sustain the spiritual power required to fly on it for long, so he still rode the same sword as Xiao Jianming along the way.

When they landed on Yuejin Mountain, the cultivators who had also heard the news and rushed to wait for the secret realm to open couldn’t help but give them an extra look.

Among them, a woman revealed a look of disgust and said, “Why are there smelly cut-sleeves everywhere?”

Su Huan was startled. Just as he wanted to explain they weren’t Dao Companions, he noticed two people nearby dressed very similarly to this woman. They looked like fellow disciples but were excluded by the others. Like two solitary wild geese, they huddled under a pine tree where they had lit a fire. The shorter youth met his gaze, smiled awkwardly at him, and turned his head away.

An older-looking man beside the woman hurriedly scolded her, telling her not to speak nonsense. He then cupped his hands in apology to Su Huan and Xiao Jianming. “Fellow Daoists, please don’t take offense. My Junior Sister was once Dao Companions with a man, but unexpectedly, that man had a penchant for Longyang (homosexuality). After developing feelings for his own junior brother over time, he abruptly divorced her. Since then, my Junior Sister has detested same-sex couples. I hope you two can forgive her.”

Su Huan understood in his heart. So she was hurt by love. He waved his hand indifferently and found an open space to rest.

After sitting down, seeing Xiao Jianming still staring at that woman, he couldn’t help asking, “What are you looking at?”

Xiao Jianming’s eyes were cold. “Nothing.”

Just at this moment, the ground trembled. The Secret Realm opened.

A huge crack opened halfway up the mountain, flashing with white light. Rich spiritual energy rushed out from within.

Xiao Jianming grabbed Su Huan by the scruff of his neck and flew to be the first to enter the Secret Realm, scaring Su Huan so much he nearly squealed.

As soon as they landed, Su Huan almost stumbled. Looking closely, they had landed on an endless grassland.

Several heavy thuds came from behind. Turning back, coincidently, it was exactly that woman and the couple.

The couple suddenly came face to face with the woman. The taller man froze, then stepped in front of the other person first, looking at the woman guardedly.

Su Huan’s eyes lit up instantly, ready to eat melons (watch the drama) on the spot.

Xiao Jianming glanced coldly at the woman and grabbed Su Huan to leave, but was stopped by the woman’s call: “Hey, stop! What kind of look is that!”

Xiao Jianming didn’t stop walking. The woman’s flustered and exasperated voice came from behind: “I told you to stop, did you hear me!”

Xiao Jianming paused, turned around, and smiled. “I suddenly changed my mind.”

The woman was stunned.

Su Huan looked at him in confusion. The next second, he heard the Black Lotus say, “I’m not leaving. You leave.”

The woman was about to get angry immediately, but she saw Xiao Jianming unsheathe his sword. A silver light flashed, and a three-foot-wide sword trench appeared on the flat grass. Cold air overflowed from the trench, and the severed grass falling into it instantly grew ice.

The woman couldn’t help backing away. Finally, she muttered unconvinced in a low voice, “Leaving is leaving. I didn’t want to face a bunch of you smelly cut-sleeves anyway.”

Xiao Jianming turned his sword tip slightly. The woman trembled all over and flew away quickly on her sword.

Seeing this, Su Huan leaned close and whispered, “You chased her away just like that? She’s all alone; what if she encounters danger?”

“Yes,” Xiao Jianming replied casually.

Glancing at him, he said, “Those who bring disaster upon themselves cannot live; naturally, she will die.”

Su Huan sucked in a breath of cold air.

The Black Lotus was indeed terrifying.
