γ6γKowtow Twice for Daddy to Hear How Filial You Are
Song Zixuan was a small streamer who started broadcasting Lingxiao at a set time every night.
Wen Ran knew this from the first day he moved in. The other party didn’t hide anything. Wen Ran had originally thought, As expected of a streamer, so generous. But when he entered the stream, he found there were only five viewers, including himself.
Song Zixuan didn’t care about that, diligently streaming every day regardless.
Tonight, just after opening the streaming software and picking a hero, his stomach suddenly started hurting. But a game of Lingxiao, even if you surrender, takes at least six minutes.
Song Zixuan had to ask Wen Ran for help. He turned off the stream microphone first, clutching his stomach as he ran to Wen Ran’s room.
“Wen Ran, have you played Lingxiao?”
“I have, what’s up?”
“Great!” Song Zixuan finally saw a savior. “I need to use the bathroom urgently, but I’m still streaming. I can’t let people see me AFK. You play for me for a bit.”
As soon as Song Zixuan finished speaking, another wave of abdominal pain hit, and he immediately ran to the bathroom.
Wen Ran saw he had chosen ‘Shadow Xuanji’. This hero had high playability, with damage immunity, lifesteal, and slow mechanics. It required high hand speed.
But it needed economy to scale.
At the start, Wen Ran prioritized clearing the wave to reach level two, helping the Jungler take the river sprite.
Then he rotated to the bottom lane to support.
The enemy ADC was playing aggressively. Wen Ran hid his vision in the bush, dodging when the support used a skill to check the brush so he wasn’t detected.
When the opponent walked over, he coordinated with his teammate to secure the kill.
Wen Ran was poked down to one-third health. The enemy Jungler unloaded a full combo of skills onto him. Everyone thought he was done for, but Wen Ran used the skill’s damage immunity mechanic plus a short dash to escape back under the defense tower with a sliver of health.
He even spun in two circles under the tower.
Shadow Xuanji’s idle animation for this skin was incredibly b*tchy, maxing out the taunt.
Wen Ran would die from a single minion auto-attack right now, so he naturally couldn’t return to the mid lane. He had to recall to replenish his state. By the time he came out again, vision of the enemy Mid Laner was gone.
Unsure where the enemy went, he could only ping ‘Enemy Missing’.
But just as he pinged, his own Top Laner confidently tried to fight 1v2 and was killed by the enemy Mid Laner ambushing in the grass.
[Sword of Light]: Shadow Xuanji, where was your ping? Sleepwalking in mid?
[Shadow Xuanji]: I pinged. You went out yourself.
[Sword of Light]: Heh.
Wen Ran ignored him. Their team’s situation was about equal to the enemy’s. It was normal for gamers to have bad tempers. Wen Ran didn’t take it to heart and continued helping the Top Laner catch people.
The enemy’s health reached a critical stage. The Top Laner used execute, but it fell short, and Wen Ran secured the kill.
He wanted to rotate back to mid to clear the wave, but the Top Laner’s curses appeared on the screen.
[Sword of Light]: Everyone else knows how to support, but you don’t come once.
[Sword of Light]: And when you do, you steal the kill. Get lost, we don’t need you here.
Then the Top Laner opened ‘All Chat’β
(All) [Sword of Light]: Opponent push fast, I’m abandoning Top!
Song Zixuan had just returned from the bathroom, barely having dried his hands, when he saw Wen Ran looking down and typing on the keyboard.
He looked at the game interface.
[Shadow Xuanji]: If you want to throw, just go AFK. With that little damage of yours, you’re worse than a cannon minion. Who are you waiting for to beg you to stay?
[Sword of Light]: Ah yes yes yes.
[Shadow Xuanji]: If what I said is so right, why don’t you take a pen and write down your daddy’s words?
[Sword of Light]: I laughed. What kind of trash are you to deserve to speak?
[Shadow Xuanji]: Come, kowtow twice so Daddy can hear how filial you are.
[Sword of Light]: *Dead ** I *** your ***!!!
[Shadow Xuanji]: Just speak properly. Why are there stars around your mouth? Can’t you be civilized?
[Sword of Light]: ****!
Song Zixuan, who usually streamed diligently and strictly adhered to industry rules, was scared silly. He rushed up and held down the keyboard.
“I say, big brother, what are you doing?”
Wen Ran took off the headset, letting it hang around his neck. Under his bangs was a pair of beautiful eyes. “Cursing out this dumbass.”
“Bro, I’m streaming! Streaming!” Song Zixuan beat his chest and stomped his feet. “Do you know that streamers cursing has a very bad influence?”
“You didn’t have many viewers anyway. Are you afraid they’ll run away?”
Song Zixuan: “…”
“Thank you so much.”
