Part 2
Jiang Yan stared at him suspiciously. “Pasting photos takes this long?”
Jiang Yunian pursed his lips and nodded. Jiang Yan’s eyes grew colder. He pulled him to his side, his arm displaying an unquestionable possessiveness. He swept a faint glance at Lu Yuanbai, whose brows were slightly furrowed, and said stiffly, “Let’s go.”
Jiang Yunian hurriedly turned back to say goodbye, and without waiting for a response, was dragged away by big strides.
Just out of the conference room, Jiang Yan let go of his hand and walked quickly ahead on his own, emitting cold air all over.
“Slow down…”
Jiang Yunian’s legs weren’t as long as his; he fell behind, trotting to keep up. The other party was unmoved. After a while, the person in front stopped suddenly. Caught off guard, he crashed into Jiang Yan’s back, rubbing his forehead in pain.
Jiang Yan turned around unhappily, grabbed his hand, and repeatedly wiped the place where someone else had touched it with his sleeve. The force carried a bit of ruthlessness, as if rubbing off something dirty.
Jiang Yunian looked bewildered, asking what he was wiping for; it wasn’t dirty. Jiang Yan lifted his eyelids, staring at his face. “Why are you blushing? Like you’re having an affair.”
Jiang Yunian’s face went green then white. He pulled his hand back anxiously, saying he didn’t.
The other party was relentless, poking his hand almost pervertedly, with a hint of danger. “Besides here, where else did he touch you?”
Jiang Yunian: “?”
“Point it out to me.”
Locked by that creepy gaze, Jiang Yunian felt creeped out. He felt Jiang Yan was being a bit excessive, eating vinegar over even this. He didn’t understand, but he still honestly pointed to his side. “I didn’t stand steady just now; Senior just kindly supported me…”
Kindly? Not necessarily.
Jiang Yan’s thumb pressed down on that spot, then without a word, he lifted the hem of the cotton coat. Jiang Yunian was startled and hurriedly covered it, looking around in panic. “What are you doing? We’re outside!”
Jiang Yan raised an eyebrow. “So at home is okay?”
He only hated himself for not arriving earlier; that way, the person catching his brother would have been him.
Even so, he pressed unhappily: Besides this, he didn’t do anything else?
“Senior isn’t you.” How could he do anything to him?
Jiang Yan’s eyes darkened, jealous of the special distinction he gave Lu Yuanbai. “What’s different?”
Jiang Yunian said without thinking, “He doesn’t like men.”
Jiang Yan twitched the corner of his mouth faintly, seeming to laugh at his naivety. From the first glance at Lu Yuanbai, he smelled the scent of his own kind. Not interested in men? Who would believe that? But naturally, he wouldn’t tell his brother these things. He huffed coldly, jealousy almost overflowing. “I don’t care. Ge is mine alone; how can I let another man touch you?”
It already happened; what could be done?
Watching Jiang Yan acting sulky and unreasonable, Jiang Yunian softened his voice helplessly. “Then what do you say we do?”
Jiang Yan kept a straight face and didn’t speak, but his eyes softened a few degrees, letting him figure out how to compensate him.
Jiang Yunian held out his hand. “Then you pinch back?”
“You’re mine to begin with; that doesn’t count.” Jiang Yan unceremoniously held his hand and pinched it hard.
Now Jiang Yunian was troubled. He scratched his head, thought for a moment, and tentatively asked, “Are you free tomorrow night?”
Jiang Yan pretended not to care. “?”
“A new movie came out recently; the reviews are good. Want to go to the cinema together?”
Jiang Yan’s pupils lit up slightly. A movie theater was a “big expense” for his brother; it was hard on him. He coughed and asked, “Is this a date with me?”
Jiang Yunian: “Sort of, is that okay?”
“Date…” Jiang Yan pondered the meaning of these two words carefully, leaning close to whisper in his ear, “Then Ge knows what we do on a date, right?”
Looking at his eyes, which revealed a hint of ambiguity within their depth, Jiang Yunian almost immediately understood the implication. He struggled internally, feeling like an honest man throwing caution to the wind. “Mn.”
Jiang Yan hooked his lips, speaking pointedly, “Then Ge better be prepared. My stamina… is exceptionally good.”
Jiang Yunian blushed, tucked his chin, and nodded.
The date was set for Friday night. Before the movie, they planned to have a light meal at the mall.
Having learned from the “Chef Zhang” lesson, Jiang Yunian was extra cautious this time, specifically reminding Jiang Yan not to choose an expensive restaurant.
Jiang Yan’s mouth twitched. How is this expensive? Even my dog eats better than this. But he still indulged him, choosing an affordable Hunan restaurant. After dinner, it was still early before the movie started, so the two wandered around the mall. As luck would have it, they bumped into Zhou Shu, who also brought his boyfriend out. Seeing them empty-handed and looking shabby, completely out of place with the huge LV advertisement next to them, Zhou Shu teased, “Coming here to window shop? Not living life anymore?”
Truly, enemies walk a narrow road.
Jiang Yan couldn’t be bothered to pay attention to him. He brushed past them, arm around his person, and walked into an unattended clothing store.
Through the glass window, Zhou Shu looked at the display inside the store—various styles of “pajamas”—and shook his head. “Men…”
Saying that, he turned to coax the person in his arms. “How about Hubby buys you a few pieces to wear too? How about black silk?”
“Wear it yourself if you want to.” He Qing pushed him away expressionlessly.
“What’s there to be shy about with Hubby?” Zhou Shu followed behind him, unwilling to give up. “If you don’t like black silk, a T-back (thong) works too.”
Did he want everyone to hear him shouting like that? He Qing scolded with red ears, “Shut up.”
Entering the store, Jiang Yunian realized belatedly that he had entered a wolf’s den. This wasn’t a proper clothing store at all!
Jiang Yan said calmly, “Ge treated me to a movie, so naturally, I have to return the favor.”
What a “courtesy demands reciprocity.”
“Didn’t we just eat?” Jiang Yunian muttered softly. Besides, Jiang Yan had paid for the meal.
“Paying the bill is what a boyfriend should do anyway.” Jiang Yan picked out a silk slip dress and gestured with it against him, thinking it looked good.
Even so, no need to give this! Also! How do you even wear something with such a huge cutout in the back?
“How to wear it isn’t important.” Jiang Yan outputted solemnly, “Anyway, it will be taken off in the end.”
Jiang Yunian suspected he watched too many of those short videos he sent him. Why were his thoughts getting more and more crooked? Just as he was heartbroken over this moral decay, the other party turned back to comfort him, “Don’t worry, I won’t make Ge wear this for the first time.”
A customer nearby keenly caught something and looked over curiously. Seeing two men holding a slip dress, they rubbed their eyes in disbelief.
This seems to be a women’s clothing store, right?
Jiang Yunian wished he could find a crack in the ground to crawl into, pretending to be busy looking at his phone. Only when that person walked away did he tug at Jiang Yan’s sleeve wanting to leave. Jiang Yan thought he wanted to hold hands, so he naturally held it, then picked up a white mesh transparent tank top to ask his opinion.
Jiang Yunian saw it and almost blacked out. What kind of anti-human design is this? Do people really wear this?
Jiang Yan coaxed him, “Ge, try it.”
“No…”
Jiang Yan pushed him directly into the fitting room and handed him the black one. Jiang Yunian refused, but Jiang Yan coaxed him saying once he tried it, the movie would be starting.
“Or should I help Ge?”
“But…”
“Shh, do you want everyone to know you’re here?”
Jiang Yunian shut up immediately, saying reluctantly, “Just trying it on. I’ll leave right after.”
Jiang Yan nodded perfunctorily and helped him hold his coat.
Jiang Yunian bit the bullet and put it on bit by bit. The hem of the skirt barely covered his rear; it wouldn’t work if he took a few steps, and the spine was completely exposed. He tugged at the skirt uncomfortably, asking if it was okay.
The heating in the mall was on full blast. His skin was slightly flushed, highlighting a pure yet lustful aura on his clean face. Jiang Yan swallowed, restraining himself as he said, “Turn around.”
Jiang Yunian turned to face the wall, exposing his entire back to him. The beautiful butterfly bones were presented before his eyes. Jiang Yan reached out wanting to touch, but withdrew his hand. If he touched now, the movie wouldn’t happen.
There was suddenly no movement behind him. Jiang Yunian turned his head hesitantly, only to find him holding his phone taking pictures of his back. Seeing him turn back, he even took a close-up.
“Ge looks very beautiful wearing this.”
Jiang Yunian wanted to cry but had no tears. He reached out to grab his hand, telling him to delete it, but failed. Instead, he was hugged by the waist and had a few more photos taken from the front. After messing around, despite agreeing to just try it on, they ended up buying it. He had been tricked. Jiang Yunian reacted slowly; these kinds of clothes couldn’t be returned after trying them on. It was a waste of money again.
Jiang Yan coaxed him: “Spending money on Ge is worth it no matter how much.”
Although he said that, Jiang Yunian still felt pained over the money, telling him not to buy it next time since he couldn’t wear it out. Jiang Yan: “Of course you can’t wear it out. Wearing it at home for me to see is enough.”
“…”
Jiang Yunian held his forehead. Can you give me back the innocent Ah Yan from before?
