After the Honest Man Picked Up a Dark, Obsessive Psycho chapter 96

Chapter 96: Abducted Home — “Ge, let’s get married, okay?”…

At that moment, Jiang Yan seemed to lose all his strength and schemes. The terrifying aura surrounding him vanished completely, and even his throat trembled. “You said… who did you miss?”

Jiang Yunian’s eyes were half-closed, the figure before him swaying slightly. The familiar scent made him feel secure, and he compliantly mumbled again, “A-Yan…”

“Ge… it’s me.” Jiang Yan seemed to finally confirm something. His tense jawline relaxed as he held Jiang Yunian’s slightly cool hand, coaxing gently, “It’s me. Let’s go home, okay?”

“Okay…” Jiang Yunian’s mind was chaotic. He nodded haphazardly, “Go home…”

Receiving a positive answer, Jiang Yan hesitated no more. He leaned down and lifted him up entirely in his arms.

As they passed a certain part of the sofa, Jiang Yunian’s dangling foot accidentally brushed against someone. Xu Zhiyuan mumbled a dazed “Hmm?”, rubbing his eyes, “Who… who stepped on my hand…”

When he got a clear look at the person in Jiang Yan’s arms, his foggy brain instantly sobered up. “Where are you taking Yunian…”

Jiang Yan didn’t bother responding, simply carrying the person toward the exit.

Qian Cheng still hadn’t recovered from his shock. Watching Jiang Yan’s posture, warning bells rang in his head. It was one thing for a reckless fool like He Qing, but did Jiang Yunian also want to eat from this bowl? He had always thought of him as an honest guy; he never expected his ambitions to be even bigger than his own. Didn’t he know his own status? Was Qi Sheng something a poor guy like him could cling to? Someone like Jiang Yan had absolutely everything at his fingertips. Today he might take him away out of a momentary interest, and tomorrow, when he grew tired of him, he could throw him away like trash. Playing with him was like playing with a dog; if Yunian actually took it seriously, wouldn’t it be courting death?

Regardless, he was one of their own. Qian Cheng couldn’t just stand by and watch him become a plaything for these rich heirs; in the end, it would be Jiang Yunian who suffered. Bracing himself, he darted forward to block Jiang Yan’s path, forcing a strained smile.

“Cousin, this… why don’t we take him back? You see how drunk he is…”

Jiang Yan cast a cold look his way, the gaze no different from looking at a dog. “Move.”

Qian Cheng shrank back, feeling the chill, almost ready to chicken out. Emboldened by alcohol, Xu Zhiyuan stepped up. “Right, you can’t just take Yunian away like this. He’s drunk…”

Jiang Yan frowned in annoyance, tightening his grip on Jiang Yunian. He turned sideways, dodging the hand Xu Zhiyuan extended in an attempt to wake him up. Xu Zhiyuan stumbled from the movement, nearly falling over, thankfully caught by Qian Cheng.

Qian Cheng was groaning inwardly, but he still had to force himself to negotiate. “Cousin, if you’re looking for someone to keep you company, there are plenty of beautiful boys here. Look…”

He pointed randomly to the side, “How about this one? Clean and sensible…”

Jiang Yan didn’t even spare a glance, his words biting and hard: “You’re comparing these crooked melons and split dates to my fiancé?”

Fiancé??!

Those two words were like a sudden clap of thunder, nearly shattering both of their eardrums. Qian Cheng’s eyes widened like copper bells, his mouth hanging open wide enough to fit an egg. Xu Zhiyuan couldn’t even process the words anymore. Even the ignorant young masters and misses nearby couldn’t help but cast inquiring glances.

Jiang Yan had no obligation to explain. Taking advantage of the moment everyone was stunned by the explosive news, he carried Jiang Yunian straight out of the room, leaving behind a floor full of dropped jaws and a deathly silence.

Jiang Yunian woke up on a soft, massive bed. What entered his vision was an extremely spacious room, exuding a low-key luxury in every detail.

Is this a hotel?

He narrowed his eyes, sitting up groggily.

Immediately after, he quickly realized there was someone else beside him. His breath hitched, and he quietly grasped the person’s shoulder to turn them over.

Jiang Yan’s sleeping profile suddenly appeared right before his eyes.

After confirming it was him, Jiang Yunian’s tense nerves inexplicably relaxed, and he let out a breath. The chaotic memories from last night gradually returned: the KTV, the drinking, that boy pestering him… and then what? It seemed… Jiang Yan had arrived? Everything after that felt like a blackout, a blurry mess. He only vaguely remembered someone carrying him into a car. The ride was very smooth, and a deep voice had whispered something in his ear. Other than that, try as he might, he couldn’t remember a thing.

As he was trying hard to recall, the person beside him was woken by his movements. With sleepy eyes, he turned over and naturally pulled him into his embrace.

“Sleep a little longer…”

There was no way Jiang Yunian could go back to sleep now. He pushed against Jiang Yan’s firm chest, a hint of panic in his voice. “Why am I here?”

After a moment, Jiang Yan opened his eyes, meeting his slightly flushed face. He smiled with half-closed eyes, hiding a malicious, teasing glint. “Don’t you remember?”

Jiang Yunian swallowed hard, a bad premonition washing over him.

Jiang Yan reached for the phone on the nightstand, casually swiped the screen a few times, and then held it out in front of him, pressing play.

An audio recording played from the phone.

“Ge, say it again. I want to hear it.”

“Mmn… A-Yan…”

“Why are you calling me?”

“…”

“Speak, or I’m leaving.”

“Don’t, don’t leave… please don’t leave…”

“Then did you miss me?”

“Missed… missed you so, so much…”

A low chuckle came from the other side. “Do you like me that much?”

“Like…”

The rest was basically Jiang Yan asking a question and a drunken Jiang Yunian replying softly and sweetly. The content was so shameful it made one’s hair stand on end.

The tips of Jiang Yunian’s ears turned bright red. He snatched the phone, turned off the recording, and shoved it under the pillow. “You… you did that on purpose. It doesn’t count.”

Jiang Yan was amused by his reaction. He held his hand, raising an eyebrow. “That day I was sick, Ge would rather hide under my bed just to see me. Does that not count either?”

“…” Not expecting that to be brought up, Jiang Yunian suddenly felt a lump in his throat. His face flushed with a mix of pale and red, wishing he could find a hole to crawl into.

Jiang Yan took the opportunity to kiss the back of his hand. “Stop hiding under beds. Liking me isn’t something to be embarrassed about.”

He leaned in, wanting to kiss him, but Jiang Yunian turned his head to dodge. He didn’t force it, merely rubbing his thumb against the corner of Jiang Yunian’s lips, in an exceptionally good mood.

“Ge was so tempting yesterday, constantly seducing me… If I wasn’t afraid Ge would wake up angry, I would have already…”

“Stop talking…” Jiang Yunian felt utterly humiliated. He threw off the blanket, wanting to get out of bed and escape this suffocating space, but froze mid-motion, quickly wrapping the blanket tightly around himself again.

His clothes were missing again!

This man was simply wicked through and through! Last night, taking advantage of his muddled state, who knows how many embarrassing things he had coaxed him into doing!

His angry and embarrassed little expression didn’t elicit any pity from the man. Instead, Jiang Yan’s gaze deepened. He pulled both him and the blanket into his arms, resting his chin on top of his head, his tone extremely domineering: “Yesterday Ge went to that kind of place and got so close to someone else. I’m very unhappy. This is just a minor punishment.”

“Your clothes have been sent to the wash. It’s the weekend, so Ge will stay here and rest properly.”

What does that mean? He’s not allowed to go out?

Jiang Yunian’s heart tightened, asking in disbelief, “Are you… going to lock me up again?”

Jiang Yan paused slightly, then hugged him even tighter, kissing the tip of his nose reassuringly. “How could I dare do that? Ge, I just want to spend more time with you… out there, Ge doesn’t belong to me.”

Jiang Yan really kept his word. Although he didn’t immediately return his clothes, afraid his Ge would truly get angry, he specifically found a white shirt he had worn to dress him in.

The shirt’s fabric was soft, carrying Jiang Yan’s unique crisp scent, but the size was more than one size too large. The hem just barely covered his hips, leaving his two fair, slender legs completely exposed to the air. Jiang Yunian couldn’t win the argument, so he had to put it on with a blushing face, letting himself be led by the hand as they strolled through the massive estate.

The estate was much larger than he had imagined, fully equipped with all facilities. Rather than a home, it was more like a private resort. But Jiang Yunian was thin-skinned. He couldn’t help but walk slightly pigeon-toed, constantly tugging down the hem of the shirt. Especially when the wind blew, leaving a chill between his legs, making his scalp tingle with the shameful sensation of streaking.

This sense of shame reached its peak when Jiang Yan playfully pushed him into the hot spring pool. Stripped of his only covering, he was embraced from behind by Jiang Yan, who was a size larger than him. The firm chest pressed against his wet back. Jiang Yunian struggled slightly, only to be held tighter. In a daze, he felt like a male pet kept by a wealthy young master, hidden away from the light of day.

After returning indoors with his body fully taken advantage of, Jiang Yan remained incredibly clingy, as if glued to him, refusing to let go.

The two of them curled up on the sofa to watch a movie. Jiang Yan rested his chin on Jiang Yunian’s shoulder, his arm around his waist, whispering a lot of meaningless nonsense into his ear. Finding him too noisy, Jiang Yunian pushed his head away, but he quickly stuck back on, his eyes only having room for this one person.

After dinner, Jiang Yan brought out two game consoles and taught him how to play the latest game. Jiang Yunian didn’t have much contact with games and was inevitably drawn in by the dazzling graphics and novel gameplay, a hint of interest showing in his eyes. But Jiang Yan was wicked; before he had even properly taught him the ropes, he demanded a PK match, setting a wager: the loser had to kiss the winner.

How could Jiang Yunian agree? No matter who won, he’d be the one getting kissed. When he refused, Jiang Yan used reverse psychology, saying he was a sore loser. Angered, Jiang Yunian bickered with him like a grade-schooler, and eventually was half-coaxed, half-tricked into starting the game.

The result was entirely predictable. He was pinned down by Jiang Yan and kissed soundly over and over, each time heavier than the last. By the end, Jiang Yunian was pressed against the sofa, teary-eyed, covering his lips where the skin had been bitten, his voice thick with tears as he accused him of being entirely too much.

“Okay, I’m too much…” Jiang Yan was mesmerized by his wet, red eyes and soft voice. He coaxed with an infatuated gaze, “Just one more kiss, just one. This time gently, no tongues…”

“?”

“No one acts like you… uwu…”

In the end, Jiang Yunian still couldn’t escape. He was pinned on the sofa, kneaded and molded, his entire body branded with marks belonging to him.

Through the open door of the living room came the faint sound of a wheelchair rolling over the floor. It was very light, lingering at the doorway for a brief moment before retreating, so fast it felt like an illusion.

Jiang Yunian was kissed dizzy by Jiang Yan. From the corner of his eye, he only caught a glimpse of what looked like the shadow of a wheelchair flashing by the door before his thoughts were completely scrambled by the person on top of him, leaving no room for deeper thought.

Late that night, right before falling asleep, Jiang Yunian helplessly curled himself into a ball, his eyelids fighting a losing battle against exhaustion. Jiang Yan, as if tireless, hugged him tightly from behind, constantly nuzzling against him.

“Ge, let’s get married, okay?”

Sleepiness instantly dissipated. Jiang Yunian opened his eyes, his heartbeat no longer calm. “You… what kind of joke is this?”

Words spoken by men in bed, if you believed them, you’d be a fool.

But this time it was real; perhaps it had never been fake. Jiang Yan turned his body over to face him, his ink-black pupils gleaming brightly: “I’m not joking.”

Jiang Yunian was stunned by the fiery passion and sincerity in those eyes, forgetting how to react for a moment. As if possessed, he muttered, “You… you haven’t even reached the legal age for marriage yet…”

Those words seemed to act as a response. A wave of joy washed over Jiang Yan’s face. “Then let’s get engaged first. No, let’s just go abroad to register!”

That last sentence carried a near-paranoid urgency, as if he feared a change of heart if he waited even one second longer.

This truly wasn’t a joke. Reason gradually returned, and Jiang Yunian was forced to consider reality.

Two men getting married—was that even possible?

Furthermore, an even harder barrier to cross was their social class.

It was simply a pipe dream.

He didn’t take it seriously, instead closing his eyes again. “I’m tired. Let’s sleep.”

Just treat those words from earlier as sleep talk.

“Why?” Jiang Yan insisted on an answer. “Ge likes me, why don’t you dare to agree?”

Jiang Yunian was tormented to the point of helplessness. A hint of bitterness welled up in his heart, his throat feeling tight. “What does it matter if I like you? Could you really marry me?”

He took a deep breath and said softly, “Even if you wanted to… would your grandfather agree?”

Don’t make jokes like this anymore, I’ll take them seriously.

“Is that important?”

“It’s important.”

Jiang Yan fell silent. Under the covers, Jiang Yunian quietly clenched his hands, his fingertips digging into his palms until they hurt. Sure enough… he had thought too simply. Fortunately, he hadn’t completely lost his reason.

Jiang Yunian turned his back, forcing himself to go to sleep…

“How do you know he won’t agree?”
