After the Little Foolish Servant Died, Yu Shao Went Mad Chapter 8

Chapter 8: Does Xiansheng Not Want Him Anymore?

“Shen Yuan!”

Seeing this, Yu Xiuqing was thoroughly enraged. His large hand forcefully clamped onto the youth’s cheeks, his fingernails digging deep into the tender skin on both sides, forcing the small mouth open.

The man’s grip was incredibly strong, nearly crushing his features together.

Shen Yuan gasped in pain, his small hands pawing weakly at the man’s arm in a futile attempt to break free.

He could only passively swallow the medicinal liquid that Yu Xiuqing was forcing into his mouth. He felt the cold fluid slide down his throat and into his stomach, and a wave of nausea instantly hit him.

Su Huaiyao, watching this gratifying scene, felt an immense sense of satisfaction. The corners of his mouth were harder to suppress than the kickback of an AK-47.

However, his gaze remained like a poisoned blade, stabbing into Shen Yuan as if he wanted to tear him apart.

It didn’t matter. He didn’t need to lift a finger; his Xiuqing-gege would avenge him and teach that fool a lesson.

The man’s eyes were fierce, like those of a wild wolf.

Shen Yuan’s pupils contracted, his eyes filled with terror and agony. Scalding tears overflowed uncontrollably, sliding down onto the man’s hand where veins bulged with effort.

He felt as though his mouth and tongue were filled with the metallic taste of rust—bitter beyond endurance—yet he was forced to endure the medicine being poured into his mouth and nose. He cried out brokenly:

“Mmph… ugh… no… don’t…”

Crystal droplets meandered down from the corner of the youth’s lips. The soaked, loose hospital gown faintly revealed the silhouette of his collarbones.

“Hmm? Yuanyuan wants more?”

Seeing the youth weeping, Yu Xiuqing’s eyes grew even more gloomy, his thin lips curving into a cruel arc.

He yanked the boy’s hair with one hand, forcing his head back to keep his mouth open wide, and poured the rest of the liquid in.

“Xiansheng, no, waah… I don’t want it… let me go, waah…”

The youth struggled with all his might, his small fists pounding desperately against the man’s chest. His eyes were tearful—stubborn yet helpless.

He wanted to spit out what he had swallowed, but Yu Xiuqing’s fingers were clamped tightly against his throat. Aside from swallowing every last drop, he couldn’t even vomit.

In his misty eyes, the man’s incomparably handsome face was reflected, looking somewhat distorted and sinister. With a slight smirk, the man stared at him with a playful, mocking gaze.

“Yuanyuan, does it taste good?” The voice sounded like a vengeful spirit crawling out of hell, filled with bloodthirsty intent.

Shen Yuan shivered all over, shaking his head desperately. He didn’t dare look at the man’s bloodshot eyes again; it was a terrifying, naked display of predation and violation.

Looking at the youth’s increasingly pale face and trembling eyelashes, Yu Xiuqing smiled with satisfaction.

He deliberately shook the empty bottle in his hand, his thumb slowly wiping away the water stains from Shen Yuan’s mouth. He said approvingly:

“Good job, Yuanyuan. Not a single drop left.”

With that, he directly let go of his hand, discarding the youth like a broken doll.

Without the man’s strength to hold him up, Shen Yuan’s legs instantly went limp, and he collapsed onto the floor.

“Cough, cough, cough…!”

His face was a terrifying shade of red as he coughed violently, looking as if he were trying to hack up his lungs.

Yu Xiuqing swept an uninterested glance over the youth on the floor before turning to walk back to his beloved’s side. He crouched down to check the other’s ankle, his gaze full of deep affection as he asked with concern:

“Xiaoyao, let me take you to have your leg checked again. If it’s become serious, I won’t let him off.”

“Okay, thank you, Xiuqing-gege.”

Su Huaiyao nodded, his beautiful brows slightly furrowed. Every frown and smile only added to his “damsel in distress” allure.

What Yu Xiuqing loved most was precisely this cold, elegant temperament—gentle, respectful, and frugal, like a snow lotus on an iceberg that could only be admired from afar and needed careful protection.

The man’s Adam’s apple bobbed slightly. He stood up and carefully picked the other up in a princess carry, walking out with steady steps.

The sudden sensation of being suspended in the air startled Su Huaiyao. He instinctively hooked his arms around the man’s neck, his small face leaning dependently against the man’s shoulder, his eyes full of happiness.

He turned his head slightly to look at the youth lying on the floor. A flash of triumph crossed his eyes, but it vanished in an instant, replaced by a look of worry. He looked up and asked in a low voice:

“Xiuqing-gege, Shen Yuan… is he alright? Should we send someone to have a doctor check on him too?”

Yu Xiuqing paused, his eyes darkening slightly, but he didn’t stop. He used one hand to open the door and said, “It’s fine. Xiaoyao is more important. As for that person…”

He stopped abruptly. Under Su Huaiyao’s anxious yet expectant gaze, he raised an eyebrow and smiled lightly, his expression calm and ripple-less: “I naturally won’t let him die.”

Hearing this less-than-satisfying answer, Su Huaiyao felt a twinge of disappointment, though he didn’t show it on his face.

For now, he would just assume that Xiuqing-gege hadn’t finished playing with him and didn’t want the little fool to die too easily.

In the room, Shen Yuan, curled into a tiny ball, couldn’t stop shaking. He had watched with his own eyes as Mister Yu and his white moonlight acted all lovey-dovey while he was completely ignored.

In Xiansheng’s eyes, had he been abandoned?

He had already tried so hard to please Xiansheng, but Xiansheng still didn’t like him. It must be because he was too stupid and always did things wrong that Xiansheng didn’t want him anymore…

At this thought, Shen Yuan couldn’t help but let out a low sob. It felt as if something was lodged in his throat—painful and uncomfortable.

Then, with a retching sound, he hunched over on the floor, vomiting up all the medicine he had been forced to swallow. He threw up until he was soaked and dirty.

Only after vomiting did his stomach finally feel a bit better, but his heart felt even more bitter.

The bitterness felt as if someone were tightly squeezing his heart, making it heavy and impossible to breathe.

The little fool only felt like crying; he didn’t realize that his heart was starting to be broken piece by piece.

He wiped his face with the back of his hand and forced his body to crawl onto the bed. The vomiting and crying had left him limp, and exhaustion wrapped around him like a giant net.

He was so tired, so sleepy…

The pure white curtains fluttered in the cold wind as chilly air seeped in through the window that hadn’t been closed.

The youth huddled fearfully in the corner of the bed, hugging his knees. He was covered by only a thin blanket, his narrow shoulders shivering. The sound of his sobbing grew smaller and weaker…

No one knew how much time had passed. In his half-asleep state, Shen Yuan’s face suddenly turned as white as paper. Cold sweat broke out, and his lips trembled incessantly—he was clearly having a nightmare.

In his daze, he seemed to hear the sound of a baby crying—sometimes near, sometimes far, sometimes broken, sometimes continuous…

Shen Yuan snapped his teary eyes open. Instinctively clutching his thin blanket, he hid in the dark corner of the bed, shivering violently.

His eyes were wide as he looked around, but he saw nothing. Yet, the fear in his heart only grew.

The lights in the room flickered slightly, and the cold wind blew across his face, feeling inexplicably eerie and sinister.

But the crying didn’t stop; it continued to echo in his ears.
