After the Straight Man Cannon Fodder Was Targeted by the Perverted Crazies Chapter 95 (vol. 1)

Chapter 95: The Cannon Fodder in a Dogblood Novel (95)

Two men in suits stood like pillars at the entrance of the unit, standing upright under the streetlamp.

Shen Tangqing subconsciously glanced at them a few times. Their attire was simply too out of place in this dilapidated residential area, exuding an indescribable sense of incongruity.

However, he wasn’t in the mood to think deeply about it. He was tired to death now and just wanted to go home and sleep.

The colleague handing over the shift arrived a bit late today; it was already eleven-thirty. He yawned and walked toward the rental apartment.

The light in the stairwell had been broken for two weeks, and no one had come to fix it. He skillfully took out his phone, turned on the flashlight, and walked upstairs following the beam of light.

Shen Tangqing suddenly paused just as his fingertip touched the cold iron door.

His heart felt as if it had been gently squeezed by something, and inexplicable unease climbed up his spine. He frowned, suppressed the unease in his heart, and unlocked the door.

After changing slippers in the hallway, he dragged his somewhat exhausted body into the bedroom.

The moment he turned on the light, Shen Tangqing’s pupils shrank violently, and the phone in his hand fell to the ground with a crisp sound.

Li Qiulan sat in the wheelchair, his fingertips playing nonchalantly with a silver lighter.

Hearing the noise, he slowly raised his eyes.

The instant their eyes met, Shen Tangqing felt the blood in his whole body congeal, and the hairs on the back of his neck stood up one by one.

Li Qiulan’s lips hooked into an extremely faint arc, his tone light and airy.

“Brother, long time no see!”

Shen Tangqing’s brain exploded with a buzz. He subconsciously stepped back, speaking with a dry throat.

“Li Qiulan, why are you… here?”

Li Qiulan put away the lighter and slowly stood up from the wheelchair. His gaze was glued tightly to Shen Tangqing, like a venomous snake lying in wait in the dark, carrying scrutinizing coldness and aggressive oppression.

One step.

Two steps.

He didn’t stop until he was one step away from Shen Tangqing.

“Brother even contacted the boy from the Zhou family, why didn’t you contact me?”

Li Qiulan lowered his eyelashes slightly, pretending to look pitiful.

“I’m so sad, Brother…”

Looking at Li Qiulan’s seemingly obedient face, memories Shen Tangqing had deliberately forgotten surged toward him like a tide.

“Li Qiulan, what exactly do you want?”

He finally couldn’t help exploding. His voice carried anger suppressed for a long time, so much so that it sounded a bit shrill.

“I’ve already hidden far away. Why can’t you let me go?”

The disguise on Li Qiulan’s face tore apart instantly. Suffocating madness surged in his eyes. He suddenly pinched Shen Tangqing’s chin, forcing him to look at himself.

“Let you go? Then who will let me go?”

After speaking, he sneered, full of paranoid possessiveness. “During the time Brother ran away, I almost went crazy…”

Shen Tangqing slapped Li Qiulan’s hand away violently.

The anger and hatred accumulated at the bottom of his heart erupted instantly. The clenched fist, carrying the force of burning one’s bridges, smashed ruthlessly toward Li Qiulan’s face.

But his movements were as slow as slow motion in Li Qiulan’s eyes.

Li Qiulan’s eye corners tilted up slightly. Almost by instinct, he turned sideways to avoid it, simultaneously reaching out to accurately clamp Shen Tangqing’s wrist.

Applying force with his knuckles, he forcefully twisted the fist behind Shen Tangqing’s back. The dull pain of colliding bones shot up the arm to the shoulder.

Shen Tangqing gave a muffled grunt, struggling to pull his hand back, but was gripped tighter and tighter by Li Qiulan. The severe pain from his wrist made his whole body tremble.

He gritted his teeth, clenched his other hand into a fist, and smashed it toward Li Qiulan’s waist, but was easily blocked by the opponent.

Li Qiulan took the opportunity to step forward, directly shouldering Shen Tangqing and throwing him onto the bed.

Shen Tangqing struggled to climb up. But his wrists were pinned firmly above his head by one of Li Qiulan’s hands, while the other hand supported himself by Shen Tangqing’s side. Li Qiulan was like an airtight net, trapping him firmly underneath.

Li Qiulan’s breathing was a bit rapid. Broken hair from his forehead fell down, covering part of his eyes, revealing only the surging madness and paranoia within.

He looked down at Shen Tangqing, who was pressed beneath him with a heaving chest, and a cold smile hooked his lips.

“Brother is still so unobedient, insisting on forcing me to use this method to make you behave.”

Shen Tangqing twisted his body with all his might, but Li Qiulan’s strength was astonishingly great. No matter how he struggled, he couldn’t shake him in the slightest.

His wrists hurt from being gripped, and his back was pressed tight against the cold bed sheet. He could clearly feel the weight of Li Qiulan pressing on him, and the opponent’s scorching breath landing on the side of his neck, carrying a dangerous aura, scalding him stiff.

“Let go of me, Li Qiulan, you lunatic!”

This suffocating feeling of being completely controlled birthed a trace of fear in Shen Tangqing’s heart. Those days of imprisonment now drilled into his mind like maggots in bones, making him shake uncontrollably.

Li Qiulan seemed not to hear his curses. His gaze fell on the redness at the corners of Shen Tangqing’s eyes. His finger pad gently brushed across his cheek, the movement carrying a trace of eerie tenderness.

“Lunatic? Clearly, it was Brother who forced me to become like this.”

He leaned in close, forehead against Shen Tangqing’s forehead. The madness in his eyes was about to spill over.

“Brother, did you think I couldn’t find you by hiding in this kind of place? How could you possibly get rid of me?”

“Li Qiulan, I just want to live a normal life.”

Shen Tangqing turned his head to avoid his touch, but his chin was pinched by Li Qiulan and forcefully turned back, forced to make eye contact.

“Consider me begging you, let me go, okay?”

Shen Tangqing’s voice gradually weakened, carrying a tremor close to pleading.

He was really afraid of being locked up by Li Qiulan again, and really afraid Li Qiulan would… f*ck…

But falling into Li Qiulan’s ears, these words seemed to light a fuse.

He abruptly tightened the hand pressing on Shen Tangqing’s wrists and laughed coldly.

“Normal life? How does being with me not count as a normal life?”

He lowered his head and bit fiercely on the side of Shen Tangqing’s neck.

“Brother, don’t think about running away from my side. You can only be mine.”

Shen Tangqing couldn’t help groaning lightly from the pain, his eye rims turning red physiologically instantly.

Just then, the phone on the floor suddenly rang.

Both of their attention was attracted by the ringtone.

Li Qiulan’s expression was obscure as he spoke faintly, “So late… who would call Brother?”

It seemed like asking Shen Tangqing, yet also like talking to himself.

“Let go of me…”

Li Qiulan gave a very short, cold snort and actually let go of Shen Tangqing.

He turned to pick up the phone that had fallen on the floor, glanced at the screen.

“Jiang Ci…” He softly recited Jiang Ci’s name.

Then he looked up at Shen Tangqing, who was staring at him warily, held up the phone in his hand, and revealed a smile on his face.

“Brother, who is he?”

The smile was very sweet.

But falling into Shen Tangqing’s eyes, it only made his blood run cold.

His Adam’s apple rolled, and he spoke with difficulty.

“Neighbor.”

“A neighbor calling Brother in the middle of the night.” The smile on Li Qiulan’s lips deepened, carrying undisguised malice.

“It seems… the relationship with Brother is very good…”
