Chapter 24: I Want to Kiss You
So he chose to retreat to advance, throwing out a reason first.
Chi Yuheng glanced out the window, then looked back at Ye Ran with a faint smile. “Alright, then let’s sleep.”
Ye Ran took a deep breath, and the force of his fingers gripping the corner of the quilt loosened slightly.
The explanation passed. At most, he would just sleep in Chi Yuheng’s bed for a night; it was nothing. It wasn’t like they hadn’t slept together when they were small.
Ye Ran lay down properly on the bed, pulling the quilt up to cover half his face, leaving only a pair of eyes visible. He looked no different from a concubine who had been washed clean and was waiting to serve the emperor.
Chi Yuheng felt the fire in his body ignite, burning through his limbs along his blood.
What was the difference between Ye Ran’s appearance and flagrantly seducing him? He suppressed his desire and conveniently turned off the light.
As soon as the light went out, Ye Ran’s body instinctively tensed. The next second, the mattress beside him sank slightly, and Chi Yuheng’s clear scent rushed over him. The tension instantly surged to his head.
He instinctively moved toward the edge of the bed to establish a “Chariot River Boundary” between him and Chi Yuheng.
As a result, after moving for a long time, he only moved a fist’s distance—far from enough.
Ye Ran didn’t give up and continued moving outward. Seeing that he was about to reach the edge, a low, husky voice came from beside him, “If you move any more, you’ll fall.”
Ye Ran’s movements instantly froze. He could feel the person beside him slightly turning over, and the warm breath nearly fell on his neck, carrying a faint itchiness.
His body shivered uncontrollably. He couldn’t listen, he couldn’t listen. Maintaining a safe distance was the most important thing right now.
Ye Ran continued to move outward. Before he could move twice, he suddenly felt his legs suspended in mid-air; half his body was already leaning out of the bed.
“…”
Ye Ran thought, It’s over, I’m going to fall again.
He was even prepared for the pain, but the expected pain didn’t come.
The next second, a warm hand suddenly hooked around his waist. The force wasn’t heavy, but it steadily pulled him back.
He crashed firmly into the man’s embrace. The clear scent of snow cedar instantly enveloped him, along with the warmth from Chi Yuheng’s body.
Before Ye Ran could react, Chi Yuheng’s voice sounded in his ear. The low voice was wrapped in a bit of helplessness, and his warm breath fell on Ye Ran’s earlobe, triggering a fine shiver.
“I said you’d fall, yet you didn’t listen?”
Ye Ran’s face turned completely red in an instant, burning from his cheeks to the tips of his ears. This distance was too, too, too, too close!
He hurriedly wanted to struggle out of Chi Yuheng’s arms, but the hand on his waist didn’t loosen; instead, he was lightly pressed back.
“Don’t move around.” Chi Yuheng’s voice lowered a bit more, carrying a tone of non-negotiability.
Ye Ran didn’t want to move either, but a certain part of him did.
He thought the crazy plot only controlled his legs, but unexpectedly, his mouth had also fallen.
His thin lips moved. “Chi Yuheng.”
“Hm?”
“I want to kiss you.”
The moment the words fell, Ye Ran’s entire person froze.
Ye Ran: “!!!”
Ye Ran: “…”
Ye Ran: “…”
Dead mouth, what on earth are you saying?!
“No, it wasn’t me, I didn’t…”
Ye Ran hurriedly wanted to explain, but the more anxious he was, the less he could speak clearly. As a result, his “dead mouth” blurted out an even more outrageous sentence: “I’ve wanted to kiss you for a long time…”
After saying this, Ye Ran just wanted to die on the spot.
How could these words come out of his mouth!
He was even rushing to get kissed!
A dead silence fell over the room, and only the two’s rapid breathing was exceptionally clear.
Ye Ran could feel the person behind him also pause. The hand at his waist seemed to tighten a bit more. He wanted to see if he could reclaim the autonomy of his mouth and say something to explain his words just now.
But before he could open his mouth, his chin was lightly pinched and forced upward.
The next second, warm lips suddenly covered his. Ye Ran’s pupils instantly dilated.
“Mmh… Chi… Chi Yuheng…”
He instinctively wanted to speak, but his voice was submerged in this sudden kiss, leaving only fine whimpers.
The man’s eyelashes lightly brushed over his cheeks, carrying a fine itchiness that drilled through his skin into his heart, making his body shiver uncontrollably.
A gentle kiss ended. Chi Yuheng raised his head, the stray hairs on his forehead still carrying some warm breath. His voice was a bit husky. “Do you want more?”
“I…”
Ye Ran was startled by his own voice as soon as he spoke a word.
That voice was incredibly soft, carrying a lingering tremor. It had none of its usual crispness; instead, it was like a small animal that had been wronged and then comforted, carrying an unconscious dependence.
“…”
He secretly took a deep breath, trying to make his voice return to normal before speaking again. “I…”
Before he could finish, Chi Yuheng’s kiss fell again, gradually deepening it. It carried a gentle aggression, exploring every corner bit by bit.
In Chi Yuheng’s understanding, not saying “no” meant “yes.”
In Ye Ran’s understanding…
Big brother, give me a chance to speak first!
…
Ye Ran lay very quietly on the bed, licking his slightly swollen lips and cursing Chi Yuheng in his heart. You dog, you’re a dog, right? Gentle in the front and biting in the back.
Even though he had delivered himself to the door, you just kissed me!
He seriously doubted if Chi Yuheng had been plotting against him for a long time.
Otherwise, how could he… kiss so naturally…
After cursing Chi Yuheng, Ye Ran began to curse the author.
If you want to do “H,” do it to the protagonists! Why do it to him, the villain? Everyone knows you shouldn’t just shear one sheep. If you’re going to torment someone, you shouldn’t just torment him.
He couldn’t take this kind of tossing.
“Click…” It was the sound of the bathroom door opening.
Immediately following was the sound of footsteps, getting closer and closer to the bed.
Ye Ran immediately closed his eyes and shrank into the quilt to play the quail.
Chi Yuheng looked at the lump in the quilt, the smile on his face not fading. His body still carried the coolness of a cold shower, so he wasn’t in a hurry to get into bed.
Not feeling anyone coming up, Ye Ran rolled over and opened his eyes to see what was happening.
With just one glance, his gaze was accurately captured by Chi Yuheng. “I know you’re not asleep.”
Chi Yuheng lay next to Ye Ran, the clear scent he carried quietly enveloping him.
The silence didn’t last for a few seconds before a low, husky voice sounded right next to Ye Ran’s ear, “Still want to kiss?”
He knew that once this person got a taste of meat, his mind wouldn’t hold anything proper.
Ye Ran cursed in a low voice, “You bastard.”
Listening to his curse, Chi Yuheng chuckled. “This bastard is too good to you. If you want me to sleep with you, I do. If you want me to kiss you, I do…”
Ye Ran habitually retorted, “Who asked you to kiss…”
Me.
The more he spoke, the smaller his voice became. He really couldn’t debunk this; it really was his request.
Chi Yuheng patted the “bristling” Ye Ran’s head. “Alright, you didn’t request it; I insisted on kissing you.”
“Hurry up and close your eyes and sleep.”
Ye Ran gave an “Mn” and obediently closed his eyes. After a few seconds, he opened them again. “Chi Yuheng…”
Chi Yuheng turned his body. “What do you want to say?”
