Chapter 48
Xu Xingchuan’s lips were ice-cold, yet exceptionally soft.
Yan He watched the moonlight filter through the gaps in the clock face, landing on Xu Xingchuan’s face, illuminating a calmness filled with madness.
The Siberian tiger smashed through the attic door, charging with the powerful aura of a ferocious beast. Xu Xingchuan was sent flying, his bare skin slamming against the stone wall, scraping a bloody streak down his back.
“He Ting!” Yan He, barefoot, immediately rushed forward and grabbed the tiger by its back fur with all his might.
Even in beast form, he retained human consciousness, but he was still a top predator. Yan He always remembered the rumor that He Ting had bitten someone to death and was permanently confined to Bestia. He couldn’t let him commit another offense because of him.
The Siberian tiger whipped its head around. Seeing Yan He’s nervous expression, it stopped. The force on its back fur gradually faded. The tiger stared at Yan He’s palm, red from gripping its fur so hard, and extended its massive head. A warm tongue gently licked Yan He’s palm, sending a tingling sensation straight to his cerebral cortex.
The hyena, arctic wolf, and snow leopard had already climbed up the rotting wooden stairs, packing the tiny attic tightly. They shielded Yan He behind them, forming a strong protective barrier.
Below the clock tower, all kinds of birds flocked and circled the spire, while carnivorous and herbivorous animals from the land arrived from all directions, like an unprecedented animal migration.
And they were all here for one personโ
Yan He.
All the animals had come for Yan He.
The golden eagle, furious, squeezed through the gap in the clock hands, its sharp beak aiming straight for Xu Xingchuan’s head.
If that beak landed, Yan He was sure Xu Xingchuan’s brains would be pecked out.
Yan He wanted to shout, but Xu Xingchuan had turned into a round, fluffy, giant sesame dumpling. The panda’s chubby body rolled agilely, instantly dodging the eagle’s attack, then looked back at Yan He with aggrieved eyes.
He looked weak and pitiful, and actually quite cute.
You have to admit, there’s a reason pandas are national treasures; their looks give them a natural advantage.
Yan He spoke up, “Yun Xiao, forget it. I’m fine.”
The furious golden eagle still slapped the panda on the head several times with its wings. Yun Xiao felt he had misjudged Old Xu; sneaking Yan He away like that, who knew what he was planning?
Simply unforgivable!
Yan He didn’t know what Xu Shao wanted to do, kidnapping him to the clock tower just to kiss his foot.
Oh my god, I had my foot kissed by a grown man. It feels so weird.
Yan He was still mentally processing this when a flexible, furry tail suddenly wrapped around his waist. The strong, powerful tail curled around Yan He’s waist, dragging him to the tiger’s flank and then pulling him onto its back.
Yan He could clearly feel the heat radiating from the Siberian tiger. It was the softest place. He understood the tiger’s body language. “You… want me to ride you?”
The hyena, snow leopard, and arctic wolf present just stared at them.
Their beast forms were only medium-sized, incomparable to a Siberian tiger, making riding difficult.
And the golden eagle was the same; the prey it could carry was limited, and an adult man’s weight was out of the question.
Damn, they lost the size advantage!
The Siberian tiger had an overwhelming advantage in size.
The tiger stared at the bare feet on the wooden floor, its powerful tail dragging Yan He closer to its flank.
Yan He thought for a moment, then simply flipped onto the tiger’s back. He never thought the day would come when he’d actually ride a Siberian tiger, a true predator at the top of the food chain.
With a thunderous roar, the tiger carried the person on its back, leaping down several steps at a time, racing down the winding wooden stairs.
They watched Yan He being taken away by the Siberian tiger, vaguely feeling that they might have missed their chance with him.
The tiger moved with immense power, like a sports car speeding on the highway. To avoid falling off, Yan He unconsciously clamped his legs around the tiger’s muscular flanks.
He bent his body close to the tiger’s back, his hand wearing the sparkling Beast God ring gripping the tiger’s back fur tightly.
When the tiger burst out of the clock tower, Yan He saw the dense crowd of animals outside, more spectacular than any nature documentary he had ever seen.
It’s over!
Seeing the top predator suddenly appear, the timid animals fainted on the spot, while the bolder ones instinctively retreated like a receding tide.
The noble Lord Siberian Tiger didn’t deign to spare them a glance, carrying Yan He on a wild run down the academy’s main avenue.
In his ears were the howling wind, the strange cries of beasts in the forest, and the first snow of winter in Bestia.
“He Ting! Stop, stop!”
Yan He felt the speed beneath him slow down. He grabbed the back fur and flipped off. “He Ting, your beast form was seen by the whole academy. It’s over, everyone knows you’re a Siberian tiger!”
So much for maintaining mystery and not exposing his identity. In this moment, it had all vanished without a trace.
Yan He’s tone was urgent. “I thought you let me sit on you just to show I’m your person. I didn’t expect you to take me on a campus-wide parade.”
Am I your person?
The golden tiger eyes narrowed, savoring that sentence. The giant golden shaded cat suddenly took a step forward, easily pinning Yan He into the grass.
An ambiguous growl rolled from the tiger’s throat. Yan He’s hand, wearing the Beast God ring, pressed against the tiger’s throat. For the first time, he hated beast transformation.
Transformed animals couldn’t speak human language, unlike little parrots.
If only beast forms could talk and communicate.
“So what if I’m exposed? I was worried about you!”
Being taken away by that Beast God fanatic Xu Xingchuan was dangerous.
The young man’s familiar, powerful voice, as if unable to suppress emotions hidden for a long time, suddenly appeared in the night. Yan He’s eyes widened as he stared at the big tiger on top of him.
This voice was… He Ting’s. His beast form could speak human language after he complained in his heart.
He Ting had transformed and come, even risking exposure because he was worried about him. Yan He was stunned; his heart was struck in this moment.
The Siberian tiger was also stunned, staring fixedly at the person beneath him.
“Yan He.”
Just like in the past, He Ting called his name.
“An animal’s instincts, besides survival, also include…” the tiger lowered its head to lightly bite, then changed to gently licking Yan He’s trembling Adam’s apple, “…procreation.”
Yan He looked incredulously at the Siberian tiger in front of him, at that tiger face filled with infinite lust and impulse.
The massive creature on top of him transformed into human form. He Ting, naked and incredibly muscular, stared at the person he had pinned in the grass.
A snowflake happened to land on the tip of Yan He’s nose.
He lowered his head and kissed the tip of Yan He’s nose gently, yet with infinite heat:
“Consider me, okay? Yan He.”
That’s what He Ting said.
Yan He was completely bewildered. Was he being kissed by a guy and confessed to? But he… but he was straight!
Wait, weren’t the F4 all candidates for the protagonist shou‘s main gong? Why was he confessing to him?
He Ting sat up from him, looking down. “Can you give me your jacket? I left mine at home because of the transformation.”
Yan He nodded repeatedly; streaking wasn’t allowed. As he got up, he habitually glanced in He Ting’s direction, then quickly looked away, took off his jacket, and handed it to He Ting.
He Ting wrapped the jacket, still warm from Yan He’s body, around his private parts. The gentle touch enveloped the sensitive area, and he unconsciously arched his back, his breathing heavy for a moment.
He Ting: “Wait for me a moment.”
Without waiting for Yan He’s answer, He Ting strode into the small woods. Yan He could vaguely hear suppressed growls and the sound of his name being whispered, carried to his ears by the snowy wind.
We’re all men here; Yan He knew exactly what that sound was.
So it was because wrapping his jacket… caused a reaction.
Yan He’s face instantly turned red. Nervous and embarrassed, he kept grabbing at his thin white shirt.
Yan He leaned against a big tree, playing with a leaf in his hand. After waiting for a while and not seeing He Ting come out, he couldn’t help but shout, “He Ting, are you done? Can you hurry up? I can’t wait anymore, it’s snowing.”
He Ting’s muffled groan came from inside: “Almost done, don’t rush.”
After another few minutes, Yan He finally saw He Ting come out. His handsome face was full of the extreme comfort after release, and his shoulders were dusted with snowflakes.
This was Bestia’s first snow. In the mountains, it always came fiercely and was colder.
He Ting stared at Yan He’s bare feet, stripped by that pervert Xu Xingchuan. “I’ll carry you on my back.”
“Or, you can continue riding me back.”
Yan He saw He Ting wrapped in his jacket, shirtless and muscular, not cold at all despite the snowy weather.
Yan He didn’t have He Ting’s excellent physical fitness, especially after giving his uniform jacket to He Ting. He felt even colder. Thinking of that fluffy fur, he felt it would be exceptionally warm, and couldn’t help asking, “Will we be exposed?”
He Ting said, “I won’t let them see you.”
He Ting was no longer afraid of exposure, but Yan He was afraid of being exposed.
Seeing the massive, fluffy golden shaded cat, Yan He didn’t think much more and rode on it again. Because his feet were too cold, he simply buried them deep in the fur, directly contacting the tiger’s scorching skin.
The tiger no longer ran wildly but slowed down deliberately, carrying Yan He leisurely back to their townhouse.
Yan He sat on the tiger, holding his jacket that He Ting had taken off after transforming again. His cheeks and ears burned as he held the jacket because he smelled the faint scent of Photinia flowers on it.
The tiger was very mobile and quietly brought Yan He back to their villa in the night.
He Ting sent Yan He back to the upper villa and said lightly, “Think about what I just said.”
Yan He: “…”
The two returned to their respective dwellings. Yan He washed up and lay down, sending WeChat messages to Bai Yuzhou and the others to tell them he was safe, his mood complicated.
Lying in bed, his mind was full of He Ting’s words.
Asking him to consider being with Boss Number Two He Ting… but he was straight!
Before falling asleep, Yan He thought groggily, I should be straight, right?
Maybe.
Possibly.
Um, or maybe not.
This sleep was so comfortable that when the window was white the next morning, signaling Bestia’s entry into winter, Yan He was still asleep, oblivious to what was happening in the academy.
At noon, a private jet bearing a family snake crest quietly landed at Bestia Airport.
The cabin door opened, and a travel-worn Shen Xianqing stepped out.
Bestia, I, Shen Xianqing, am back.
And, Yan He, I’m back.
