Chapter 16: The Blue-Eyed Man
He tried to find a ragdoll cat for the boy before the holiday, but getting a ragdoll wasn’t easy; it required pre-ordering from a cattery, with a minimum waiting time of six months, and sometimes up to two years. Zhao Yuhao couldn’t wait that long, so he inquired everywhere.
Fortunately, his friend suggested he try his luck at the Story Pet Shop. He went without hesitation and luckily found a ragdoll cat. The ragdoll’s name was Gloves; it was a beautiful cat, and he believed the boy would like it. Although the adoption process was complicated and required considerable effort, he willingly did it for his lover’s sake.
After a brief greeting, Zhao Yuhao asked Lin Xia about the day’s tasks.
“You came at the right time; you can bathe Gloves today.” Lin Xia handed him the large ragdoll and explained the precautions.
“Gloves is very well-behaved; don’t worry about having trouble washing him. If you find it difficult, you can ask us for help.”

Chen Mingzong and his brother were coming for dinner tonight, so they prepared several dishes. Looking at the time, Lin Xia sped up.
The brothers arrived at the perfect time; the dishes were just ready when they arrived, steaming hot and inviting.

“Then I’ll leave it to you.” Lin Xia pretended not to notice his intentions; anyway, Chen Mingzong wouldn’t harm Little Hamster.
With the time finalized, the two ended their conversation happily. Back in the house, Bai Tuanzi leaped into Lin Xia’s arms.

“Let’s see the uncles out together.” Lin Xia hugged Bai Tuanzi and Little Hamster to see Chen Mingzong and Chen Mingjie off.
After seeing them off, Lin Xia took Bai Tuanzi to bathe.
“Good boy, let’s take a bath.” Lin Xia gently stroked Bai Tuanzi’s head. He didn’t need to clean the kitchen because, at Chen Mingzong’s silent command, Chen Mingjie obediently took action.
“Awoo!” Okay!
Little Hamster also went to bathe; he had his own bathroom. He could now bathe himself, and he could distinguish between shower gel, shampoo, etc. He wasn’t afraid of the hairdryer at all; he even liked the warm air it blew—warm and comfortable.
After bathing, it was time for bed. After saying goodnight to each other, everyone returned to their respective rooms.
At the same time, in another high-end residential area, Tang Yinlang sat at his desk, his fingers flying across the keyboard. After clicking send, he leaned back wearily, massaging his temples.

Thankfully, the boy had a good friend. Although their relationship was good enough to make him jealous, he was grateful for Chen Mingjie’s help. Without Chen Mingjie, the boy would have had a very hard time. Even today’s reunion at the pet shop might not have happened.
After reading all the information, Tang Yinlang breathed a sigh of relief. Fortunately, it wasn’t too late. Lin Xia was single; he still had a chance to pursue him, to hold his hand.
Thinking this, a gleam appeared in the man’s usually indifferent eyes; something had ignited his hope.
It was already late at night; the man’s body urged him to rest. He removed two colored contact lenses from his eyes, revealing a pair of beautiful blue eyes like gemstones…
