Becoming the Abused Omega and Conquering the Hidden Alpha CHAPTER 6 PART 2

PART 2

The mechanical voice echoed in the hall.

Shu Ci took his number and documents and got up, walking towards window D. On his way, he met a couple, a typical Alpha-Omega pairing.

As they were about to pass each other, the Alpha scolded his wife. He pushed her, and she stumbled.

Shu Ci frowned and helped the woman.

She was wearing sunglasses and a fisherman’s hat and kept her head down. The curve of her back was just right, weak but not humble, with faint reddish marks under her collar.

He glanced at her; she was holding a number for divorce proceedings.

“Public places, please pay attention to your behavior.”

He glared angrily at the Alpha. After the Omega beside him stood firm and her back straightened, he let go of her.

The Alpha had never seen such an arrogant Omega; his face was ugly.

Just as he was about to retort, a strong, burly Alpha in a suit stopped in front of him.

The bodyguard looked down at the Omega with a stinky face. “Sir?”

“I’m fine.” Shu Ci looked at the woman again, his meaning conveyed through his eyes. He didn’t know if the woman could understand through her sunglasses.

After all, she was about to get divorced, and anything he said would seem nosy. He rolled his eyes and continued walking towards window D.

Shu Ci didn’t know that he had been bullying others, taking advantage of Shen Ti and his partner’s prestige, showing off. He didn’t see the Alpha take a step back.

In this era where Alphas were stronger than Omegas, few Omegas could afford to hire an Alpha as a bodyguard. There were only two reasons why an Alpha would willingly be a bodyguard for an Omega:

Either they were extremely short of money, put down their dignity, and voluntarily served the helpless Omega; or it was a fixed position in a large family, regardless of whether the service object was an Alpha, Beta, or Omega, they were loyal to the entire family.

Shu Ci walked to the window and handed over the materials he had filled out downstairs.

“Renewing your ID, right?” The staff confirmed with him and took an instrument from the side, patting the top, which looked like a camera. “Look here, let’s verify your identity.”

Shu Ci’s beautiful eyes looked straight ahead.

After a few seconds, a green light lit up on the instrument, and he saw a line of words displayed on the instrument screen.

——Biological information confirmed, matching.

His long eyelashes drooped slightly and then lifted.

The fact that he was in the original owner’s body was something that as long as technology couldn’t detect it, he would absolutely not easily admit to being someone else and cause trouble.

“Name.”

“Shu Ci.”

“Birthday?”

“Nine—February… 29th.” He paused slightly, answering fluently.

This was the original owner’s birthday, once every four years. His own birthday was in September, completely different.

Because these details were easy to cause problems during verification, he had specifically confirmed the renewal process with Shen Ti beforehand and organized all the information that might be asked.

Considering that his disorder might lead to amnesia, Shen Ti had given him a very detailed explanation.

All citizens’ biological information was collected at birth and stored in the system. When renewing, biological information identification was used, and the results of the identification were matched with the database, so the basic information of a person could be confirmed quickly.

Therefore, there were very few cases of people using other people’s documents to impersonate them or lost children being claimed in recent years. Because as long as the information existed in the database, the first step of biological information identification would not pass.

“I remember that many years ago, a wealthy heiress was swapped with her nanny’s daughter, and after many years of hardship, she was found. Biological information storage was proposed by a certain member of parliament from their family who later entered politics.”

Shu Ci was originally preparing for the renewal of his documents, but he listened with wide eyes.

He habitually asked for details. Who knew that the incident happened a long time ago and Shen Ti wasn’t very clear about it himself.

Shen Ti said, “This kind of information is very important for personal privacy. Once it is obtained by the powerful, it is hard to imagine what they will do. This is why the alliance where our family is located has been striving to strengthen the protection of residents’ information in the past two years.”

Hearing this, Shu Ci curled his lips.

He still preferred stories with dramatic tension. Compared to what the authorities were calling for, he was more interested in the gossip about real and fake daughters.

Just looking at Gu Lan Zhu’s methods in the original book, the phone calls being tapped, the monitoring in his own room, the original owner was almost naked in front of him, without any privacy at all.

No matter how much they appealed, could it restrain such powerful business magnates?

Oh well, it’s good to just listen to this.

“Basic information verification is complete.” The staff stamped a small seal. “Take these materials to room 601A on the sixth floor for pheromone verification, then take new photos in room 601B. If there is no problem, the new identity document will be sent to the address you left in the materials within three working days.”

Shu Ci raised his eyebrows slightly.

Only three working days? The efficiency was quite high.

He went upstairs to room 601A and handed the materials to the staff. The staff took him to a special instrument: “The decoration materials here are pheromone-insulating. You only need to release a little for verification.”

Shu Ci hesitated and took out a medical certificate from his file bag.

This was something he had asked Shen Ti’s family doctor to help him with.

“I have pheromone disorder. It has changed many times, and it may not be able to match the previous one. A change may be needed.”

The staff had heard of this rare disease, but he had only heard of it for the first time. He took the medical certificate and paused slightly. The certificate was stamped with the seal of Cui’s General Hospital, another intimidating surname.

“Please wait a moment, I will report to my superior.”

Soon, the response came.

The following process sped up. Shu Ci registered his new jasmine-scented pheromone. The staff also told him that if there were any further changes, he could make an appointment for pheromone modification in advance.

Shu Ci nodded and left with the bodyguard. Before leaving, he was still looking around in front of the building of the service center.

The scene in the original book where he chased and he ran away was still vivid in his memory. Especially the relentlessly haunting Gu Lan Zhu, who would appear unexpectedly every time, appreciating the original owner’s terrified expression like teasing a rabbit, then pretending to leave, and then using all kinds of threats to make the original owner have almost conditioned reflex of fear and PTSD.

Shu Ci watched it with a mentality of “I want to see how you can make it work”, but he never understood how such an abnormal relationship could lead to a happy ending.

Now that he was the person involved, he felt a chill down his spine just thinking about it.

He subconsciously looked around to confirm that he didn’t see Gu Lan Zhu, Shu Ci breathed a sigh of relief and quickly got into the car.

As soon as Shu Ci left, someone called the staff member who had reported Shu Ci’s pheromone change.

“Leader, you called for me?”

“Wasn’t there a Mr. Shu who came to renew his documents just now? And he also wants to change his pheromone information?”

“Yes, yes… I have already reported it to the affairs office, and the procedures are compliant.”

“Don’t be nervous, we’re not punishing you.”

The leader took out an application form from the side and handed it to him.

The golden ink made people solemn.

“If you had seen Mr. Shu’s personal information just now, you should know that he is married. This is an application letter sent by his spouse from his unit last week, requesting that any information changes about Mr. Shu be notified to him.”

The staff member was stunned: “Directly notify? This is not good, right? Is it… related to personal privacy?”

“He is the legal husband. According to the Family Law, he has the right to know the content of his spouse’s information changes.”

……

The black off-road vehicle left the airport, drove onto the ring road, and drove through the traffic with a faint golden light.

The Alpha put his hands on the steering wheel, his whole person immersed in the shadows.

The car screen suddenly lit up, illuminating his calm face.

His dark blue eyes glanced casually at the information.

The speed of the car decreased in the next second, he hesitated for a second, turned the steering wheel, and swerved onto the ramp in front of him.

“Navigation deviation detected. Please reposition your destination or update the navigation route in ten seconds.”

“Modify the destination.”

“Destination modification starts. Please read the quick address number or detailed address.”

“Number 1.”

“Destination modification complete. Calculating navigation. According to the new destination—address number 1: Xinwan Garden, Building 9, Jiuqing Road, No. 9—parentheses wedding apartment parentheses—8.3 kilometers.”

“……”
