Luo Shizhen gestured a ‘2’ with one hand and held the bathroom mop between them with the other, explaining seriously:
“I was afraid you’d turn into a zombie and bite me. If you turned, I could use this mop to block your mouth.”
This was a little trick he picked up fighting the Flying Jiangshi last time. As long as the mouth was blocked, the zombie couldn’t bite him.
Chu Xiao looked at the dripping mop, obviously just used by a janitor.
“…You want to stuff a toilet mop into my mouth?”
Luo Shizhen looked at his expression and explained guiltily in a small voice:

Seeing the man, the Awakener laughed. “Sui An, it’s you. Did I have an episode again?”
The man stepped out. Behind him, the levitating Awakener followed, drifting like a balloon.
Sui An’s brows were sharp. He hadn’t changed out of his combat uniform yet. He looked like a lazy black panther, but everyone in Eternal Day knew he was far more terrifying than a panther.
“Heard you had an incident as soon as I got back. So, I came here non-stop.”
Though he said this, his pace remained unhurried, just like his tone.
“The episode wasn’t severe this time, but don’t take missions for the next two days. Your pollution level is very high; be careful of losing your mind completely.”
The Awakener flipped over in mid-air, still boneless.
“Not severe? How come I felt like I was hallucinating? I seemed to hear someone say something about holding a little bird.”
Obviously, Sui An couldn’t say such things, so it had to be a hallucination.
He was very self-aware. “God, why are my hallucinations so raunchy? I really am a raunchy person.”

The combat personnel dragged their Captain away, running fast as if chased by dogs. Only after turning the corner did they breathe a sigh of relief.
“Why did you call him Inspector just now? Don’t you know he hates that title the most?”
“Seeing the Captain like that, I got anxious and forgot. I just thought ‘Inspector’ was the highest rank.”

Sui An watched this scene of “benevolent teacher and filial student,” listening to Luo Shizhen obediently calling “Teacher this, Teacher that.”
Sui An, who had never attended Awakener School and had only led a bunch of violent team members who needed physical beating before they could speak a human sentence instead of barking madly, thought uncertainly:
