Chapter 41: Wanting to “Take” Him; Filthy Intentions / The Gunshot Rings Out, He Hopes…
Jiang Chenyan used almost all his strength to push the person away. His back was against the sofa, his chest slightly heaving from hurried breaths. “What exactly do you want to do? I don’t know you.”
Mu Sian was pushed back half a step. He then stood straight, a mocking smile hooking his lips. “Pretending to have amnesia? Are you truly stupid, or just pretending? I could recognize this face of yours even if it were turned to ash.”
“I’m not pretending,” Jiang Chenyan kept his eyes lowered, his lashes casting a small shadow. “I truly don’t know you.”
“Still stubborn.” Mu Sian let out a cold laugh. He stepped closer, his fingers with thin calluses reaching toward his cheek.
Jiang Chenyan suddenly tilted his head. The hand missed the tip of his ear and hung in the air.
He nearly got touched by this lecherous hand.
His brows were furrowed tight as he tried to deceive Mu Sian. “According to the rules, they should have handed all my information over to you. As a result, you should have seen that my identity information is practically zero, right?”
Mu Sianâs expression clearly wavered; he had obviously been hit by the question.
Jiang Chenyanâs clenched fingers loosened slightly. “So you should be clear: I am an orphan. I have been wandering outside all along and don’t even have a single piece of identity proof. That day, I had just finished drinking and was drunk by the roadside. When I woke up, I was in this place. Isn’t this kidnapping? You should know that kidnapping itself is illegal.”
“I know that. Kidnapping is indeed a crime.” Mu Sian frowned, seemingly thinking seriously about his words.
Jiang Chenyan breathed a sigh of relief in his heart, thinking this person at least had some moral conscience. Then he heard Mu Sian casually add: “But that has nothing to do with me.” The manâs gaze fell on him like he was looking at an item that had already been settled. “No matter who you were before, now that I have bought you, you can only be mine.”
He reached out and brushed the fragmented hair on Jiang Chenyanâs forehead. “Since you said you don’t have a name, then thatâs perfect. From now on, I will give you your name.”
Jiang Chenyanâs lips twitched. Who the hell wants him to give a name?
Before Mu Sian could react, he suddenly lunged forward, his arms deathly encircling the manâs waist.
The moment the warm body pressed against him, Mu Sianâs whole body stiffened, and his Adamâs apple unconsciously rolled. The faint fragrance of the otherâs hair lingered at the tip of his nose, but another face flashed through his eyesâthat face with a stubborn temper, acting willfully, and looking almost identical to the person on him.
Mu Sian could guarantee that from the first moment he saw him, he had an intuition that he was Jiang Chenyan.
Aside from the hair color and pupils, their voices were identical. How could they be two different people?
The soft yellow light washed over the crown of Jiang Chenyanâs head, making him look docile and harmless. But in the next second, Mu Sian felt a chill at his waist. A cold blade had already been pressed against his neck, carrying a bone-piercing coldness.
“There’s no need for a name.” Jiang Chenyanâs cold voice came from beside his ear. “Either let me go, or we go down together today. Anyway, my undocumented trash life isn’t worth much. I want to see if you can withstand this blade.”
Mu Sianâs eye color darkened inch by inch. Unknown emotions surged in his deep eyes. Just now, the sudden hug was to take the knife from his waist…
Jiang Chenyanâs grip on the knife deepened instinctively, the cold blade slicing through the skin of the neck, seeping a trace of pale red.
Before Jiang Chenyan could speak again, Mu Sian accurately clamped his wrist and slammed his right elbow into his ribs. the movement was so fast people wouldn’t have time to guard against it.
Jiang Chenyan let out a pained groan but refused to let go. The two instantly began scuffling, making the sound of falling objects. The short knife slipped during the struggle, landing on the floor with a clatter.
The black-clad bodyguards outside the door noticed the abnormality. The heavy door was lightly knocked twice, and a low-voiced inquiry came: “Mr. M, has something happened? Do you need help?”
“It’s nothing. No need to come in.” Mu Sianâs voice carried a hint of gritted teeth. Catching a glimpse of Jiang Chenyan trying to pick up the fallen knife, his pupils constricted, and he lunged over almost instinctively.
His knees slammed heavily onto the floor, firmly pressing down on Jiang Chenyanâs hand that was reaching for the hilt.
Jiang Chenyanâs other hand swung fiercely at his cheek. Mu Sian tilted his head to dodge, but didn’t guard against the other suddenly raising a leg and slamming a knee into his lower abdomen. He pained, but the strength in his hands didn’t loosen in the slightest. The two twisted into a mess on the floor.
Jiang Chenyan was pinned to the floor, his wrist being squeezed until it pained by Mu Sian, as he struggled desperately.
Mu Sian was panting heavily, the veins on his temples faintly throbbing. “Didn’t you say you were an orphan who was always wandering? Where did such good skills come from?”
“The law doesn’t state that a wanderer must be powerless, right?” Jiang Chenyan tilted his head, fragmented hair sticking messily to his cheek. This person was too difficult to deal with.
Mu Sian was completely annoyed by his appearance. Fury rushed to his head, and he suddenly exerted force with his hands, beginning to roughly tear at Jiang Chenyanâs clothes.
“Are you fucking crazy? What are you doing?” Jiang Chenyanâs pupils constricted.
Mu Sian leaned in. Warm breath swept across the hollow of his neck, his voice deep and raspy. “I’m going to take you. You are my person. Do you really expect me to be polite with you?”
Looking at the desire surging in the otherâs eyes, Jiang Chenyan only felt it was absurd and terrifying. Was this person truly crazy? Logically, this face of his should make Mu Sian feel disgusted. Why instead did it provoke such filthy intentions?
Before he could figure it out, the survival instinct overrode everything.
Jiang Chenyan suddenly bent his knees. The tip of his foot accurately kicked Mu Sianâhe must have kicked the right spot. The other let out a muffled groan, his face suddenly turning pale, and the strength in his hands instantly vanished by half.
At the same time, a loud noise suddenly came from outside the door. Sounds of fighting and scolding mixed together. Jiang Chenyan took the opportunity to struggle out from under Mu Sian, stumbling to his feet and rushing for the door.
His fingertips had just touched the door handle when his ankle suddenly tightened. Mu Sian reached out and deathly gripped his ankle.
Jiang Chenyan only felt a wave of helplessness. Just as he stood up, he was dragged back by his ankle by Mu Sian, falling bedraggled onto the floor. His palms were rubbed until they were a burning pain.
He propped himself up to sit, meeting Mu Sianâs gaze. the otherâs face was so gloomy it could drip water, the veins on his temples throbbing.
Looking at him like this, Jiang Chenyan suddenly stopped all movements. He no longer struggled, just staring straight at him.
But if one looked closely, they would find he was staring at the door, not Mu Sian.
Mu Sianâs heart sank from the look. Just as he was about to lean in close, a cold gun was pressed against the back of his head. “Let go of him.” Mo Qingyu, wearing a silver mask, appeared in the room, the muzzle steadily pointing at Mu Sianâs head.
Kai Lan strode forward to help Jiang Chenyan up, his arm steadily supporting his waist.
When he looked at Mu Sian, his movements paused. This person looked a bit familiar.
He seemed to also be from the Alliance Military Academy.
Unable to care about that for now, Kai Lan supported Jiang Chenyan toward the door, signaling Mo Qingyu to follow.
Jiang Chenyan asked Kai Lan in a low voice, “Where is Shen Shiyue?”
“He has been clearing the path for Mo Qingyu and me all along. I thought he had some important matter to handle, but it turns out it was saving you. The most important thing now is to leave here first, before their people react.” As he spoke, he quickened his pace, pulling Jiang Chenyan toward the door without allowing argument.
Jiang Chenyan rubbed his wrist that pained from being dragged and asked Kai Lan: “Do you have any spare weapons here?”
Kai Lan nodded and fished out a laser gun from his backpack, stuffing it into his hand. “This laser gun is quite powerful, but it’s complicated to operate. I don’t know how to use it, so it’s perfect for you.”
Jiang Chenyan: “…”
Holding the cold gun body and looking at the dense buttons on it, he fell into thought.
But it wasn’t a big problem; he could use it.
Mo Qingyu held the gun against Mu Sian. Being stared at by that gaze that seemed to want to eat people made his hair stand on end. He didn’t dare to delay further, afraid the other would counterattack. In his excitement, he raised his hand, aimed at Mu Sianâs calf, and decisively fired a shot. The laser pierced through the fabric, leaving a charred wound.
the sound of the gunshot was not small. Jiang Chenyan and Kai Lan were both stunned, their gazes shifting down to rest on Mu Sianâs injured leg.
He couldn’t tell, but Mo Qingyu was quite fierce.
That patch of Mu Sianâs skin seemed to be charred.
Mo Qingyu tossed out the words “Let’s hurry and leave,” then quickly caught up with Jiang Chenyan and Kai Lan.
The laser scorch mark was still glowing a charred red on the surface of the calf skin. That subtle but continuous stinging pain constantly numbed his brain. Mu Sian was so angry the veins on his temples bulged, but he could only watch helplessly as the three figures disappeared at the door.
…
All along the way, sirens, the panic of the crowd, and gunshots intertwined, making peopleâs eardrums pain. Jiang Chenyan tightly gripped the laser gun in his hand and asked: “What exactly is going on? Why is it so messy outside?”
He knew it would be messy, but he hadn’t expected it to be this messy.
While alertly observing the surroundings, Kai Lan explained quickly: “You don’t know this, but I integrated the evidence regarding the upper levelâs private trafficking of Omegas and made it public. It directly ignited the fury of the entire galaxy. Not only are Omegas and Betas incensed, but even many Alphas with a conscience can’t stand this filthy business from the upper levels.” He paused and added, “Admiral Celeus just happened to hear that this kind of thing happened in his jurisdiction. He has already rushed back overnight to the branch to oversee the situation.”
Hearing this, Jiang Chenyan lowered his voice: “Who has a terminal? I want to see the situation outside.”
He led the two to hide in a corner, nimbly crawling under a heavy metal table.
Kai Lan immediately understood. He quickly fished out his terminal from his chest, his fingertips sliding rapidly on the virtual screen, switching the encrypted channel to the public frequency.
The moment the screen lit up, dense messages surged out: condemnations of the upper levelâs black material from the entire galaxy, protest activities from citizens of various planets, even Alpha legions publicly stating their support for the struggle for rights.
Jiang Chenyan admitted from the bottom of his heart that Kai Lan truly had some skills to be able to stir up such a big wave in such a short time. “Did you invest a lot of star coins?”
“About several million.”
Jiang Chenyan didn’t react to this string of numbers for a moment. Only after a while did he say: “I truly couldn’t tell, you are so wealthy.”
“Thatâs for sure.” Kai Lan smiled, then changed the topic. “But now with Admiral Celeus suppressing the situation, this matter is basically settled. He will definitely not let those people from the upper levels act recklessly; he will definitely give everyone an explanation.”
Jiang Chenyan gave a light “Mm,” but his gaze darkened as he asked: “Have all those Omegas who were caught like me been saved?”
Kai Lanâs smile faded. “Most are already safe, but for the few who were sent to the auction stage earlier, the trail went cold. They were most likely hidden by the buyers who won the auction.”
The three were huddled under the metal table. They were clearly pressing their breathing to the lowest, but the table was suddenly flipped over by a wave of brute force.
Dazzling light flooded in, and the three were stunned at the same time.
Luo Deâs face appeared before them. Half of a broken mask hung on his face, and the exposed skin was still stained with blood. He looked bedraggled yet exuded ruthlessness.
Behind him followed more than twenty black-clad bodyguards. The bodyguards were also holding several cowering Omegas.
Luo De raised his gun and pointed it straight at Jiang Chenyanâs chest, his voice trembling with fury: “It was you, right? the evidence that was exposed was filmed by you.”
Jiang Chenyanâs brows were furrowed tight, his gaze cooling down. “It wasn’t me.”
“Still stubborn!” Luo De barked. He waved to the bodyguards behind him. “Take all three of them away!”
He originally wanted to take them away directly, but catching sight of an “old acquaintance,” Luo Deâs eye color darkened abruptly. He grabbed Mo Qingyu, who was closer to him, his fingers forcefully pinching Mo Qingyuâs half-face that wasn’t covered by the mask, his tone sinister. “Itâs you?”
“Didn’t you run away? How did you come back?”
“Sure enough, you’re all in cahoots.” Luo Deâs emotions completely spiraled out of control. Mad laughter echoed in the air. He reached out and deathly gripped the back of Mo Qingyuâs neck, his nails nearly sinking into the flesh. “Today, I will kill you first, then dig out your gland.”
Mo Qingyu was being choked until his breathing was difficult, but his mind was full of past terrifying images.
The dim laboratory, heavy chains, being forced into heat time and againâthe nightmares wouldn’t go away. He couldn’t help but tremble all over, his vision going black.
Kai Lan frowned. He suddenly smashed a smoke bomb at Luo De. Smoke instantly spread, and the bodyguards immediately alertly fired into the smoke. the scene became instantly chaotic.
Jiang Chenyan lunged at Kai Lan, pushing him down to avoid the stray bullets. He then sprang up and kicked Luo De in the chest.
Luo De staggered back a few steps and let go of Mo Qingyu.
He pulled Mo Qingyu up.
Under the cover of gunshots and chaos, the three of them ran toward the emergency exit without looking back.
After running some distance, Jiang Chenyan suddenly stopped, thinking of those few Omegas. He looked back at Kai Lan: “Give me the remaining smoke bombs. I’m going to save them.”
Kai Lan wanted to dissuade him, but Jiang Chenyan had already snatched the smoke bombs and turned to rush back the way he came.
He hid behind a wall and observed for a moment. Seizing the gap while the bodyguards were reloading, he suddenly threw a smoke bomb. the moment smoke filled the air, he flashed out. The laser gun was steadily aimed in his hand. With almost no pause, bullets struck the joints of the bodyguards one after another, and they fell to the floor.
“Don’t daze out, follow me.” Jiang Chenyan pulled up an Omega and signaled the others to follow. The rescued Omegas hurried to catch up with his footsteps, running together toward the exit under his cover.
Watching that figure darting back and forth, Luo Deâs fury rushed to his head. His gaze deathly locked onto Jiang Chenyan, and he pulled the trigger without hesitation.
How good it would be if he died.
the gunshot rang out. He hoped that figure would fall forever.
An Omega who is difficult to tame is truly a hassle.
