Disobedient? Forced Love in the Little Black Room—Don’t Even Think About Running, Baby Chapter 11

Chapter 11: Afraid of Pain? Then Be obedient

Qin Wan stood up, taking small, tentative steps toward him.

The pure gold chain on his ankle made a crisp clinking sound with every step he took.

The dual stimulation of sight and sound assaulted Gu Xinglan’s nerves.

He tapped his chin. “You can choose: sit on that chair, or sit on my lap.”

After speaking, his gaze locked tightly onto Qin Wan’s pale, handsome little face.

Without a second thought, Qin Wan sat on the chair beside him.

Gu Xinglan’s eyes remained rippleless; he offered no comment on the choice.

He crossed his long legs and spoke slowly, “Qin Wan, just a moment ago, my grandfather passed away.”

Hearing this, Qin Wan’s small mouth parted in shock, his eyes filled with panic.

“Wh-What? Really? How… how did he…”

Gu Xinglan took out his phone, opened a message, and handed it to him.

It was a notification just sent by the hospital director, informing him that Old Master Gu had passed away after rescue efforts failed.

“Qin Wan, you were the one who crashed into him. Now that he’s gone, do you know what responsibility you have to bear? If we talk compensation, how much should you pay?”

Every word Gu Xinglan spoke smashed heavily onto Qin Wan’s heart, which was already riddled with holes.

It made him feel waves of suffocation.

Gu Xinglan continued, “So, tell me yourself. Between the new debts and the old debts, how much do you actually owe me?”

Qin Wan’s small head drooped low again, as if he no longer had the strength to hold it up.

The corner of Gu Xinglan’s lips hooked into a smile. “You can’t pay it off, Qin Wan.”

“So, other than pleasing me, making me happy, and begging me to show mercy, do you have any other method?”

Qin Wan’s thin shoulders trembled slightly.

“Answer me.” Gu Xinglan’s voice grew colder.

It was as if dipped in ice shards.

“…No…”

These words, spat from Qin Wan’s mouth at this moment, were aggrieved, bitter, and heavy.

“Good that you know.” Gu Xinglan seemed slightly satisfied.

His voice was deep and slow. “So, Qin Wan, I’ll give you a chance to choose again. Where do you want to sit?”

Qin Wan slowly raised his head, looking at Gu Xinglan with some confusion.

After a few seconds of silence, he seemed to understand the meaning.

He slowly stood up and walked to Gu Xinglan’s side.

Using his own knee, he tentatively, extremely lightly, touched Gu Xinglan’s leg.

Gu Xinglan laughed. “Qin Wan, you aren’t stupid at all. You know exactly what to do to make me happy.”

Qin Wan remained silent, lowering his eyes and nodding almost imperceptibly.

“So, be more self-aware in the future. Be good, and perhaps I’ll treat you a little better. Understand?”

“Understood…” His voice was tiny, filled with a sense of brokenness.

Qin Wan was cautious. Just as he was about to sit on his lap, Gu Xinglan suddenly extended his large hand and wrapped it around his soft waist.

Then, with a smooth press, he forced Qin Wan’s upper body down across his lap.

Qin Wan panicked. “Wh-What are you doing?”

“You haven’t received your punishment for escaping yet,” Gu Xinglan said faintly.

Qin Wan’s heart seized. “P-Punishment… isn’t this chain already the punishment?”

“Not enough.”

Gu Xinglan spat out two words, as if delivering the final verdict on the criminal Qin Wan.

“For the next ten slaps, count them yourself. If you get it wrong, we start over.”

As his voice fell, he raised his hand and brought a slap down heavily.

“Ah—” Qin Wan cried out in pain.

He wanted to struggle, but he had already experienced the strength of Gu Xinglan’s hands last night.

“Qin Wan, you didn’t count. So, that slap doesn’t count.” He was undoubtedly tormenting him on purpose, his tone teasing.

Another slap fell.

After an uncontrollable cry of pain, Qin Wan finally counted, “One.”

Gu Xinglan seemed somewhat satisfied.

He delivered three more slaps in succession.

He heard the person on his lap counting, his voice now tinged with sobs.

Gu Xinglan stopped his movements.

“It hurts?” He asked, knowing the answer perfectly well.

Growing up under Gu Feng’s strict tutelage, Gu Xinglan was proficient in Muay Thai, grappling, and combat.

He knew exactly how much pain those slaps would inflict.

Qin Wan’s small head nodded. “Mn.”

Gu Xinglan: “Will you run away in the future?”

Qin Wan shook his head and sobbed, “I won’t run.”

A hint of a smile tugged at the corner of Gu Xinglan’s mouth. “Mn, since you know your mistake, we’ll stop here for today.”

As he spoke, he released the hand restraining him.

Qin Wan propped himself up on Gu Xinglan’s leg to stand. He turned his head away, wiping the corners of his eyes with the back of his hand.

However, the tip of his exquisite, perky nose was still red.

Gu Xinglan patted his own leg. “Now, sit up here.”

Head drooping, Qin Wan slowly sat on his lap.

“Hss—” He sucked in a breath of cold air.

Gu Xinglan’s finger gently tilted his chin up, continuing his lesson: “If you’re afraid of pain, then be obedient and listen from now on.”

At this moment, following a knock on the door, Auntie Zhang ushered two maids in to replace the food.

Seeing people enter, Qin Wan subconsciously tried to struggle out of Gu Xinglan’s embrace.

But he couldn’t break free at all.

Gu Xinglan’s arm was clamped firmly around his waist; he couldn’t escape the restraint.

“Sit still, don’t move.” Gu Xinglan lowered his head, whispering in Qin Wan’s ear.

His voice was very gentle. “If you provoke my fire right now, you’ll have to get fucked by me on an empty stomach, you poor little thing.”

Qin Wan instantly didn’t dare to move.

His small face went stiff.

Because he could already feel that something was not quite right with the man’s body.

As Auntie Zhang and the maids swapped the cold dishes for freshly made ones, she stole glances at the boy sitting on her Young Master’s lap.

He was indeed very good-looking.

But he didn’t look well at all.

His palm-sized face lacked color, and his lips were very pale.

There were dark circles under his eyes.

She couldn’t help but feel a pang of pity.

“Young Master, Little Mr. Qin, please eat. I’ll go simmer some ginseng soup for you to have after the meal.”

Gu Xinglan nodded slightly.

Auntie Zhang led the others out.

Gu Xinglan’s fingers pinched Qin Wan’s side.

“Are you hungry now? Think carefully before you answer.”

Qin Wan actually had no appetite.

But he knew if he refused to eat, Gu Xinglan would definitely cause trouble again.

He was gradually realizing that if he made Gu Xinglan unhappy, he would be the one suffering in the end.

He really didn’t dare to provoke him.

“Mn, hungry,” he answered.

Gu Xinglan nodded in satisfaction. “Eat.”

After speaking, he released the hand restraining him.

Qin Wan immediately scrambled off his lap as if fleeing, sitting back on the chair beside him.

Gu Xinglan handed him a bowl and chopsticks.

“I don’t know your tastes. Try a bit of everything first.”

“Tell me what you like.”

“Mn.” Qin Wan nodded.

He filled a small half-bowl with white rice and shoveled it into his mouth with chopsticks.

He didn’t touch the dishes at all.

Gu Xinglan stared at him, feeling that he wasn’t sulking right now, but was simply frightened—too nervous and constrained to move his chopsticks.

“Do you like this?” saying that, he picked up a perfectly roasted oyster and placed it on Qin Wan’s bone plate.

“Never had it.”

“What about this?” He picked up a piece of steamed grouper for him.

“Never had that either.”

Only then did Gu Xinglan realize that on this table full of dishes, there were hardly any that Qin Wan had eaten before.

He felt somewhat helpless. “Fine. Whatever you like to eat, remember it yourself.”

Qin Wan wasn’t a picky eater; having white rice was satisfying enough.

Gu Xinglan picked out all sorts of colorful dishes for him, and he found every single one delicious.

Once he started eating, he realized he was getting hungrier and hungrier.

Calculating it, he hadn’t eaten anything since dinner at five o’clock yesterday evening.

He finished half a bowl of rice and looked at Gu Xinglan.

“I… I’m not full. Can I have a little more?”

Gu Xinglan laughed. “Qin Wan, as my private pet, are you worried I’d starve you?”

Qin Wan’s breath hitched.

The term “private pet” deeply pierced his fragile nerves.

Gu Xinglan looked at his slightly tightened lips, knowing the lethality of his words just now.

He let out a scoffing laugh.

He took his bowl and filled it to the brim with cordyceps braised rice.

“Eat.”

He leaned into his ear, switching to a wicked tone, “Don’t worry, I promise to feed you full, from top to bottom.”

Qin Wan suddenly didn’t want to eat anymore.

Seeing him not moving his chopsticks, Gu Xinglan said, “Eat quickly. Don’t blame me for not reminding you—if you run out of stamina and collapse in bed later, I won’t let you off.”

Qin Wan stared at the rice in his bowl, remained silent for a while, and eventually picked up his chopsticks.

He was someone adept at self-persuasion.

In the hardships and tribulations of the past nineteen years, he had learned the nature of reconciling with himself at any moment.

Otherwise, he would have long fallen into the abyss during the painful grinding of one ordeal after another.

He picked up a mushroom-like piece.

Tasted it.

The flavor was incredibly fresh, novel, and high-end.

He picked up another piece.

“You like this?” Gu Xinglan asked.

Qin Wan nodded. “What kind of mushroom is this?”

Gu Xinglan scoffed. “White truffle. That’s the thing you stole last night. Don’t recognize it?”

His tone was full of teasing and ridicule, mercilessly ripping open his old scar.

Qin Wan’s face went stiff.

“I… didn’t want to be a thief either…” he said quietly.

He didn’t dare look up again, burying his face low, and went back to eating only white rice.

The meal was sumptuous but overly tense.

Qin Wan finally shoveled all the rice in the bowl into his mouth.

Next, Gu Xinglan’s sentence startled him again.

“Full?”

Qin Wan nodded.

“Go take a shower.”

Qin Wan: …

He felt an inexplicable sense of danger.

Seeing him frozen in place, Gu Xinglan narrowed his eyes. “Do you want me to help you wash?”

“No need!” Qin Wan shot up and walked toward the bathroom.

He closed the door.

Click— The soft sound of the door being locked was heard.
