EO Romance: The Supreme Leader Is About to Enter the Crematorium Chapter 31

Chapter 31: Does My Lord Really Like Me?

Ye Zhile went back to school for classes. There weren’t many classes every day. After class, he went to rehearsal, and after rehearsal, he went home. There were still two weeks until the freshman ceremony, so there was plenty of time. Teacher Liu Yang said that once they practiced until they couldn’t be any more familiar with it, everyone could rest. So for three consecutive days, the entire drama troupe rehearsed until very late.

This time they changed into costumes and brought up props directly. The whole venue quieted down. Lu Xingyan was tall; the originally high-spirited teenager, with his hair slicked back, school uniform zipper open, and chewing gum in his mouth, completely transformed into a punk kid who looked utterly troublesome to teachers and students.

Ye Zhile changed the least. He already looked obedient, the appearance of a good student. He only changed his clean and sweet temperament into one of low self-esteem and cowardice. The one who changed the most was Leng Xingtu; his usually arrogant and proud personality suddenly became cowardly.

“Weren’t you acting tough?” Jiang Lin, the actor playing Lu Xingyan’s role, pushed Zhu Yu into the trash can at the back of the class and hit his head with a book. “Daring to complain to the teacher! You’ve got guts! Huh?”

Zhu Yu covered his head, making no sound while being beaten, but that unconvinced air made people uncomfortable watching it. Especially Jiang Lin, who was so angry he kicked him. “Damn dead sissy! You have some backbone. Let’s see how long you can last!”

At this time, Chen Ke, played by Leng Xingtu, entered through the back door. He watched Jiang Lin’s gang arrogantly block Zhu Yu in the corner of the back door, while Zhu Yu covered his head and cast a look of help towards him.

“What? You want to help him?” Jiang Lin stood up and approached Chen Ke, sneering, “Do you dare?”

Chen Ke hurriedly lowered his head, ignoring Zhu Yu’s gaze, and went straight back to his seat.

Zhu Yu was dragged into the toilet by Jiang Lin’s group and beaten. His face was full of wounds, and salty tears stung the cuts. Jiang Lin pinched his cheeks and teased, “Beg for mercy and I’ll let you go.”

Zhu Yu sobbed a few times, speaking hoarsely, “Beg you… let me go…”

“Haha…” Jiang Lin was very happy, patting his face. “For the next exam, we still have to rely on our Zhu Yu~ oh~”

A burst of laughter erupted from behind, chiming in, “Just change your surname to Zhu (Pig) in the future; sounds so good.”

Zhu Yu hugged his knees, shrinking in the corner, trembling…

After performing the whole play in one go and wrapping up, Lu Xingyan came over, pulled Ye Zhile over to check, “I didn’t really hit you, right?”

“No, you controlled your strength,” Ye Zhile said.

“That’s good,” Lu Xingyan said.

Ye Zhile walked out of the school gate and received a call from Ji Shuohan just after getting in the car.

“Not home yet?”

“Not yet, rehearsed very late today.” Ye Zhile laughed. “I actually have a day where I go home later than My Lord.”

“Are you in the car?”

Sponsored

“I am.”

When Ye Zhile returned home and saw Ji Shuohan sitting on the sofa waiting for him, his heart warmed, and he walked in. “I’m back.”

Ji Shuohan stood up. “Rest early.”

Ye Zhile stood still and didn’t move. Not hearing the sound of anyone following, Ji Shuohan turned around and saw the teenager still standing at the gate, looking at him with disappointment. Ji Shuohan’s heart tightened. “What’s wrong?”

“Does My Lord only know how to say this sentence?” Ye Zhile lowered his head and said dejectedly, “Are there no other words to say to me?”

Ji Shuohan’s lips moved, but in the end, he said nothing. Ye Zhile felt a burst of loss in his heart. He bypassed Ji Shuohan to go upstairs. Ji Shuohan grabbed his hand and called, “Ye Zhile…”

He was a head taller than Ye Zhile. Ye Zhile had to look up at him, his clear eyes revealing grievance and doubt. “Does My Lord really like me?”

“I…”

“Everything My Lord does seems like you like me,” Ye Zhile said. “I don’t know if I guessed right…”

Ye Zhile broke free from his hand and returned to his room. Before long, Ji Shuohan came to knock on the door. He stood at the doorway, and Ye Zhile looked at him.

“Ye Zhile,” Ji Shuohan called him. “I can’t say sweet words, but… everything I do is sincere. I hope you won’t question it.”

Ye Zhile listened to him quietly. Ji Shuohan didn’t say much. After speaking, he took a step forward, gently hugged Ye Zhile into his arms, and stroked his head. “You are… a very cute Omega.”

“Goodnight.”

“Good… night.” Ye Zhile was dazed.

After Ji Shuohan left, Ye Zhile came back to his senses. He took a deep breath and muttered to himself, “Ye Zhile, ah, Ye Zhile, you are really done for…”
