Chapter 36: Disobedient
“All right, you guys, enough. I invited Lele here to have fun today, so don’t say things you shouldn’t.” Lin Yang interrupted them, shooting a meaningful glance at the Alpha nearby.
The Alpha immediately put on a placating smile and handed a glass of wine to Ye Zhile. “Young Master Ye is the bigger person; please don’t hold a grudge against a nobody like me. Let me toast you.”
Ye Zhile shook his head. “I don’t drink.”
“Okay, okay, okay. Waiter, bring in a glass of juice,” the Alpha said, acting unexpectedly compliant.
However, Ye Zhile didn’t drink the juice either. He leaned back on the sofa, thinking about finding an excuse to slip away in a bit.
Lu Xingyan had been dragged off to drink, but his gaze kept drifting back to Ye Zhile from time to time, afraid that something might happen to him. Just as he turned his head during a brief interval, he inadvertently saw that Alpha sprinkling something into Lin Yang’s wine. Seeing Lin Yang pick it up to drink, Lu Xingyan snatched it away and slammed the glass down in front of the Alpha.
The Alpha hadn’t expected this move. “Bro, what are you doing?”
“Brother Xingyan?” Lin Yang looked blank, though a trace of success flashed in the depths of his eyes.
Under Lu Xingyan’s coercion, the Alpha eventually drank the wine himself. Afterward, he looked at Lu Xingyan provocatively.
Lu Xingyan ignored him.
In a corner where no one was paying attention, the Alpha yanked Lin Yang over. “Are you f*cking sure you want to send the person you like to someone else’s bed?”
“So what?” Lin Yang was unreconciled in his heart, but thinking of the immense attention Ye Zhile received, he felt dismissive. “As long as Ye Zhile loses his purity, can he still be so high and mighty?”
The Alpha looked Ye Zhile up and down again. “What a pity. I haven’t even had a turn yet.”
Lin Yang sneered. “You even dare to play with the Supreme Leader’s wife? You really have guts. Ye Zhile and Lu Xingyan have a good relationship, so Lu Xingyan might be able to get away with it, but you? Are you looking to die?”
The Alpha scoffed. Even if he was unwilling, he didn’t dare to act recklessly. It was just that a top-tier Omega like Ye Zhile was truly a rare sight.
At this moment, in the study of the Supreme Leader’s Ministry.
Xiao Ruo brought in a cup of coffee. Just as she was about to leave, Ji Shuohan looked up and asked, “Where is Madam?”
“Madam hasn’t returned yet,” Xiao Ruo answered truthfully.
Ji Shuohan glanced at the clock. It was so late, yet he still hadn’t come back.
Ji Shuohan dialed the internal line and ordered, “Send me Madam’s location. Prepare a car for me. No one needs to follow.”
Ji Shuohan hung up the phone, immediately put on his coat, and went out. He drove himself, not letting anyone follow.
Ye Zhile saw that it was getting late, so he said to Lin Yang, “I’m leaving first. You guys take your time playing.”
“Eh, Lele!” Lin Yang grabbed him. “It’s not safe for you to go back alone. I’ll have Brother Xingyan take you.”
Lu Xingyan happened to not want to stay there anymore either. He pulled on his jacket. “Let’s go.”
People came and went in the bar. Some had someone in their arms, yet their eyes still drifted toward Ye Zhile. Lu Xingyan pulled Ye Zhile behind him, blocking those people’s lines of sight.
“Stay here and don’t move. I’m going to the restroom,” Lu Xingyan said.
Ye Zhile nodded. “Okay.”
Ye Zhile waited outside the restroom door. People coming out of the restroom saw such a petite and lovely Omega and their eyes lit up, but they didn’t approach. They only discussed it with their companions as they brushed past Ye Zhile.
“Whose Omega is that? They sure are confident leaving him here.”
“Haha… don’t say that. He looks quite blessed.”
Ye Zhile pulled up the collar of his hoodie to cover half his face. However, after waiting outside for several minutes, Lu Xingyan still hadn’t come out.
“Brother Xingyan?” Ye Zhile called out toward the Alpha restroom. No one answered. He got a little anxious, but being an Omega, he couldn’t just barge into the Alpha restroom.
“Brother Xingyan!”
After shouting twice with no response, Ye Zhile feared an accident had happened. He gritted his teeth, covered his eyes with both hands, leaving a crack between his fingers, and walked in.
As soon as he reached the restroom entrance, he saw Lu Xingyan slumped over the sink. Ye Zhile was startled. “Brother Xingyan!”
Lu Xingyan stumbled over quickly. He dragged Ye Zhile, staggering toward the back door. He didn’t know if there were any top-tier Alphas in the restroom. If his condition provoked other Alphas to release pheromones and put Ye Zhile in danger, he would never forgive himself.
The back door area was empty, with few people and dim lights. Lu Xingyan slumped down against the wall. He felt like thousands of ants were crawling all over his body, and his blood was surging violently. He looked at the anxious Omega in front of him and grabbed his hand. “Lele…”
“Brother Xingyan, what’s wrong with you?” Ye Zhile was a bit scared. He wanted to break free, but his hand was gripped deathly tight.
“I was drugged.” A trace of ruthlessness flashed in Lu Xingyan’s eyes. “Lin Yang, that dog…”
“Dr… Drugged…” Ye Zhile realized instantly. He immediately took out his phone. “I’ll call an ambulance for you right away, just wait!”
Suddenly, Ye Zhile’s hand went limp, and the phone fell to the ground. A stinging pain came from the back of his neck as the pheromones of strong liquor enveloped him. Ye Zhile collapsed to the ground, retreating in terror. “You… aren’t you High-level? Brother Xingyan, why are you a Top-tier Alpha?”
Between different ranks, low-level pheromones couldn’t affect high-level ones. But pheromones of the same level constrained and balanced each other. If Lu Xingyan were merely High-level, Ye Zhile could have totally taken him to the hospital or called for help.
But Lu Xingyan was Top-tier. His pheromones would only drag Ye Zhile into the abyss.
Ignoring the pain in his glands, Ye Zhile tried to crawl up and leave, but the strange sensation in his body left him weak and powerless. The Alpha pheromones made it impossible for him to break free.
“I’m sorry, Lele.” Lu Xingyan gasped heavily. “Don’t worry, I won’t do anything to you.”
Ye Zhile shook his head helplessly, tears bursting from his eyes. He clearly felt the changes in his body; it was gradually becoming scorching hot. The intense scent of sake permeated every pore. Ye Zhile lay prone on the ground, biting his own hand hard to stay awake.
He didn’t know the pheromone compatibility between him and Lu Xingyan, but as long as it was over fifty percent, both of them were done for.
Once the pheromones erupted, driven by physiological instinct, he wouldn’t be able to control his demands.
Ye Zhile tasted blood in his mouth. He opened his hazy eyes and seemed to hear footsteps. His subconscious reaction was to hide himself; he couldn’t be discovered.
However, Ye Zhile was completely limp. It wasn’t until someone picked him up that a voice sounded by his mouth.
“Disobedient.”

Feeling the cool, refreshing pheromones wrapping around him, Ye Zhile opened his eyes and saw Ji Shuohan’s cold gaze. Ye Zhile involuntarily hugged him tighter, murmuring, “My Lord… I feel so uncomfortable…”
Ji Shuohan saw the blood on his lips and the bite marks on the back of his hand. He glanced at Lu Xingyan on the ground, a trace of ruthlessness flashing in his eyes. That man had been gritting his teeth and enduring the whole time.
In the end, Ji Shuohan called an ambulance for Lu Xingyan and carried Ye Zhile back to the car.
