EO Romance: The Supreme Leader Is About to Enter the Crematorium Chapter 58

Chapter 58: Is There a Time Limit for Coming Back?

After following him to the Supreme Leader’s Ministry, Ye Zhile didn’t disturb Ji Shuohan anymore. He sat obediently in the office and waited. After waiting for about two hours, Ji Shuohan, his Big Brother, and his Second Brother all appeared in the office together. Seeing him, they were all stunned.

“Why are you here?” Ye Zhichen sat over. Ye Zhile pouted, looking at him sideways. “My Lord brought me here.”

Ye Zhichen felt his younger brother’s little expression was asking for a beating. He reached out and pinched Ye Zhile’s cheeks, exposing the truth with one sentence. “I bet you asked the Leader to bring you here.”

“Wu!” Ye Zhile struggled hard to break free from Ye Zhichen’s devilish claws. “Nun uf yur busineff…”

Ye Zhijin slapped Ye Zhichen’s devilish claws away. “Stop teasing him, hurry up and get over here!”

Ye Zhichen let go and walked over. Ye Zhile stuck his tongue out behind his back. Seeing the Supreme Leader looking his way, he immediately hid behind a throw pillow.

Ji Shuohan’s lips curled up.

Ye Zhile listened from the side as they discussed when to depart, where to depart from, which route to detour for flanking attacks, how many legions here and how many legions there, and the joint deployment of interstellar space warfare and ground warfare.

Ye Zhile spaced out while hugging the throw pillow. He only snapped back to reality when they had finished discussing everything.

“Lele, Big Brother and Second Brother are leaving.” Ye Zhijin stood in front of him.

Ye Zhile’s nose immediately felt sour. He rushed forward and hugged Ye Zhijin, choking back sobs. “You and Second Brother must come back safely.”

“We will, don’t worry.” Ye Zhijin stroked his head. Ye Zhichen comforted him, “Your Big Brother and Second Brother are incredibly formidable. I promise we’ll beat Rhea Star to a pulp. So Lele, don’t be afraid. When we come back, your brother will take you to Bit Star for a tour!”

Ye Zhile held back his tears. “Okay.”

Once Ye Zhijin and Ye Zhichen left, Ye Zhile’s tears instantly welled up, crying until he couldn’t catch his breath. Ji Shuohan pulled the person into his embrace, and Ye Zhile buried himself in his chest to cry.

Ye Zhile didn’t cry for too long. He wiped his tears away and, forcing down his sorrow, let Ji Shuohan go get busy first. This entire day, he stayed in the Supreme Leader’s office. While the Supreme Leader was busy, he went down by himself to eat. The cafeteria was quiet as always. Ye Zhile got his food and sat in front of the floor-to-ceiling window to eat.

He didn’t eat much before just sitting in his seat, staring blankly. When he went back up, the Supreme Leader hadn’t returned yet. Ye Zhile lay on the sofa to take a midday nap. When he woke up, he was already in the car on the way home.

“Awake?” Ji Shuohan squeezed his fingers. Ye Zhile’s eyelids were heavy; hearing this, he merely nodded.

Back home, Ji Shuohan was packing his things. Ye Zhile followed behind him, watching. He asked, “Is there a time limit for coming back?”

Understanding Ye Zhile’s worries, Ji Shuohan didn’t know what to do with him and could only say, “Very soon.”

After that, Ye Zhile never brought up the matter of Ji Shuohan’s impending departure again. On the last night, he insisted on sticking close to Ji Shuohan whatever he did. Ji Shuohan felt both helpless and heartbroken, turning around to kiss him and hug him.

Ye Zhile took the initiative to stand on his tiptoes and kiss him. The affection between the two was intense. Ji Shuohan held the person and sank into the soft cotton quilt. For him, the Enigma had used a lifetime’s worth of gentle restraint, but for Ye Zhile, his body felt as if it had been cleaved in half by a broadsword.

Intense pheromones enveloped the two. After it was over, Ji Shuohan wanted to mark him, but Ye Zhile dodged again. He didn’t like gland marking; the Enigma’s pheromones were too formidable, and he wouldn’t be able to bear it and would fall into a deep slumber.

“If I don’t mark you, you’ll be very uncomfortable these next few days while I’m gone.” Ji Shuohan wasn’t in a hurry either. He coaxed him gently, having enough patience to let the Omega accept the mark.

Tears shimmered in Ye Zhile’s eyes, but he ultimately nodded.

Gently biting through the gland and pouring in a small amount of pheromones, Ye Zhile didn’t feel too uncomfortable this time. He lay on his stomach in Ji Shuohan’s embrace, gradually regaining his senses.

This night was exceptionally long. In the end, Ji Shuohan still forcefully used his pheromones to make Ye Zhile fall asleep.

The next day, Ji Shuohan was dressed in military uniform. He stood by the bed, leaning over and looking at Ye Zhile with utmost reluctance. He touched Ye Zhile’s flushed, sleeping face. Ye Zhile woke up groggily. Seeing Ji Shuohan wearing a military cap in front of him, he reached up, following the brim of the cap to touch Ji Shuohan’s face, and smiled. “My Lord is so handsome.”

As handsome as the first time they met.

Ji Shuohan gave a light laugh, leaning down to kiss his lips. “I’m leaving. Take good care of yourself.”

“Mn, My Lord must stay safe.” Ye Zhile nodded and lowered his hand.

Ji Shuohan stood up, turning and leaving under Ye Zhile’s longing gaze.

Ye Zhile’s gaze locked onto the place where his back vanished. A massive feeling of emptiness shrouded him. After a moment, he let out a deep breath, pulled the quilt over his head, and forced himself to sleep.

In the end, Ye Zhile couldn’t sleep. He got up, ate breakfast, tidied up, and went to school.

After class, he and Leng Xingtu went to the library and stayed for the entire afternoon. During that time, mechas constantly flew across the sky above the school. Ye Zhile kept looking up, keeping watch.

“This direction… they must be coming from the military base, right?” Leng Xingtu looked up.

Ye Zhile gave an ‘mn’.

Ye Zhile didn’t really want to go home. After coming out of the library, he and Leng Xingtu went to a restaurant to eat. Only after eating did he take the car home.

When Wen Yumo called, Ye Zhile was drafting an article. He answered the phone. “What’s wrong, Dad?”

“Is Lele bored all alone? Do you want to come back early to keep Dad company?” Wen Yumo was worried that Ye Zhile was sad all by himself, which was why he called.

Guessing Wen Yumo’s intention, Ye Zhile smiled. “I’m fine, Dad. You don’t need to worry about me.”

“Really?” Wen Yumo clearly didn’t believe him. “You’re not allowed to be secretly sad all by yourself, you know.”

Ye Zhile fell silent. He lay down on the desk and asked, “Dad, is it bad for me to be like this? As soon as My Lord leaves, I become listless, completely lacking a world of my own.”

Once the adult left, he felt unmotivated to do anything. Aside from worry, what he felt more was unfamiliarity with this absence.

“That’s because you rely on My Lord too much,” Wen Yumo said. “Lele, you have to find something to do for yourself. Come home this Saturday to keep Dad company, and we’ll go to the temple to burn incense, okay?”

“Okay!” Ye Zhile nodded, his fighting spirit high. “I know, Dad. I’ll pull myself together! My Lord is so formidable! I shouldn’t overthink!”

“Haha… It’s good that you know.” Wen Yumo said, gratified, “Then if you have classes on Friday, come over after you’re done.”

“Mn.” Ye Zhile nodded.

After chatting with Wen Yumo for a while, Ye Zhile felt much better. He wrote a rough draft, then went to take a bath, preparing to get a good night’s sleep.

My Lord was so formidable. He shouldn’t be worrying needlessly; it would only make life hard for himself and others.

For the next few days, Ye Zhile spent his time studying in the school library. Occasionally, he would hang out with Leng Xingtu and Lu Xingyan. Only, every time they hung out, Han Haocheng was there too. That guy was extremely lively and could get along with anyone.
