F4 High School Band Makeover chapter 24 , 25, and 26 Part 4

Part 4

The scene then switched, and the young man ladled the cooked meat into bowls and packed them in bags.

He carried them to the roadside and distributed the bowls of meat to the beggars on the street.

Watching those ragged beggars eating the meat with grateful smiles on their faces, the young man explained in the video, “Humans are the supreme beings. I’m doing something to benefit the human world. Hehe, it’s very stress-relieving. I call on all those under pressure to do the same as me – help the stray cats escape, and enjoy the gratitude of the beggars…”

[Tears split my aorta: Damn, this person is an animal!]

[Tears split my aorta: Does anyone know which school he’s from?]

[Tears split my aorta: I want to take a flight over and beat him up.]

[I can only reply to unread messages: And stab him for me too.]

[Tears split my aorta: I’ll crowdsource knives, I won’t be surnamed Cui if I don’t kill him.]

Bai Sinian watched the discussion in the group gradually shift, and immediately joined their conversation.

[Tears shed for me, the male model: Let’s not resort to violence. Instead, let’s make another video to raise awareness for stray animals, like last time!]

As a qualified agent, he must be sensitive to social dynamics, seizing every opportunity to present the band in a positive light to the public.

In short, it’s called “riding the trend.”

[Xiao Bei°: Isn’t this just riding the trend?]

Ah, he’s been found out by Shen Bei.

[Tears shed for me, the male model: How can you say this is riding the trend? We’re doing something meaningful. How many big stars would speak up for the vulnerable group of stray animals?]

[Tears shed for me, the male model: As a future big-name band and superstars, we’re taking the lead in doing this now. We’re at the forefront of the times.]

[Tears split my aorta: I’m swimming in Sri Lanka, no time to come back and shoot a video with you!]

With that, Cui Yeyi posted a video of himself in the water.

He was topless, his skin bronzed in the sunlight, his broad and muscular chest, wide shoulders, and smooth muscle lines giving a strong visual impact.

His lower body was submerged in the water, and it was obvious he had posed for a long time to capture his exquisite upper body.

His face was filled with a composed smile, exuding confidence that said “You can’t kill me.” Behind him was the clear, azure sea, sparkling under the sunlight like a huge sapphire.

[I can only reply to unread messages: So flamboyant.]

[Tears split my aorta: Scram.]

Just as they were chatting back and forth, Bian Rui sent a voice message.

[Br(Learning Version): Yo yo yo, let me pour out my heart,

The stray lives on the streets,

Their eyes glimmering with tears and expectation,

Without support, they can only wander aimlessly.]

[Br(Learning Version): Yo yo yo, let me tell you,

The stray lives on the streets,

Their eyes glimmering with tears and expectation,

Without support, they can only wander aimlessly.]

[Br(Learning Version): They are indifferent, they are heartless,

Treating life like rootless weeds,

Beating and kicking without restraint,

Letting the innocent suffer endless torment and pain.]

The entire rap was powerful yet not lacking in aesthetics, and the rhyming made the rap smooth and easy to remember. Just like those brainwashing viral songs on short video apps, Bai Sinian realized this song had the potential to become a hit.

The melody was simple and catchy, anyone who listened to it a few times would be able to sing it.

[Tears split my aorta: Bian Rui, awesome!]

[I can only reply to unread messages: 666.jpg]

[Tears shed for me, the male model: Too cool! Let’s use this one! Bian Rui, where are you? I’ll go find you.]

So Bian Rui sent a location, and Bai Sinian jumped up from the sofa, quickly tidying himself up and preparing to head to the nearby mall.

[Tears split my aorta: Damn, you’re meeting up without me!]

[I can only reply to unread messages: Aren’t you bathing in the sunshine in Sri Lanka?]

Bai Sinian didn’t have time to read the rest of their chat, as he hadn’t heard from Bian Rui since the start of the winter vacation. Now, under the pretext of creating a song, he could finally see him, and he had to rush over.

Outside the café in the afternoon, the sunlight filtered through the leaves, mottling the handsome young man’s profile. Bian Rui sat quietly, his focused gaze reflected in the screen of the tablet in his hand.

A gentle breeze blew, ruffling the few strands of hair on his forehead and bringing the rich aroma of coffee from afar.

Bai Sinian looked over from a distance, stunned for a long time – the scene was too beautiful. He took out his phone and recorded it, reluctant to approach, wanting only to linger here and appreciate Bian Rui’s beautiful isolation from the world.

After a moment, Bian Rui suddenly looked up, his gaze sweeping across the distance and meeting Bai Sinian’s entranced eyes. Bai Sinian was startled, quickly regained his senses, and smiled at him, then ran towards Bian Rui.

“Why were you standing so far away, spacing out?” Bian Rui looked up at Bai Sinian.

Bai Sinian pulled out the chair across from Bian Rui and sat down, “Hehe, I was just thinking about some things. Oh right, let me take a look at your lyrics, we can revise them a bit.”

Bian Rui handed the tablet to Bai Sinian, who took it and used the stylus to circle and scribble on the screen.

Seeing the fine beads of sweat on Bai Sinian’s forehead, Bian Rui knew he must have rushed over. Since he was so eager to come, why did he hesitate so long before approaching?

Bai Sinian suddenly looked up, meeting Bian Rui’s gaze again, “Wh-what’s wrong?”

“Nothing.” Bian Rui’s lips curved slightly upward.

Bai Sinian immediately lowered his eyes, pretending to continue revising the lyrics, but his heart was in turmoil. In just a few minutes, he had made eye contact with Bian Rui twice, making his heart race!

The two of them revised the lyrics back and forth several times until they were finalized.

The sunlight was just right, and the breeze was gentle.

For Bai Sinian, this moment felt almost unreal in its beauty.

“The others probably won’t make it back in time. Is there a way to edit the individual instrumental performances together?” Bian Rui asked.

The two were sitting very close, and Bai Sinian could even see Bian Rui’s distinct eyelashes. His heart had never slowed down.

“Uh, I’ll give it a try.” Bai Sinian’s mind was a little dizzy, “Or you could ask your uncle, your dad, he should have better equipment or know some famous editors.”

Bian Rui leaned back against the chair, silent for a few seconds, “I’ll ask him.”

It was clear that he didn’t really want to ask his dad for help. Bai Sinian said, “I’ll try first, and if it doesn’t work, I’ll ask your uncle.”

“Okay.”

After discussing this, they sent the complete rap song and lyrics to the group, asking everyone to send in a segment of their instrument performance according to the rhythm.

It was winter vacation, so they were aiming to get the video edited by tonight.

Bai Sinian had registered a “Brilliant Star” account last time, and when he logged in today, he found it already had over a million followers.

More than some second-tier artists.

After everything was ready, Bai Sinian was a bit hungry, “Shall we go eat?”

“Okay.” Bian Rui agreed quickly. He packed up his tablet and stylus into a special bag.

Bai Sinian was cheering inwardly, but kept a calm expression, “I know there’s a Thai restaurant in the mall, it’s not bad.”

“Then let’s go there.” Bian Rui was always decisive.

The two arrived at the Thai restaurant, the air permeated with the aroma of curry and lemongrass. Colorful Thai wall murals hung on the walls, and the customers were conversing softly, adding a lively and joyful atmosphere to the entire restaurant.

In the center was an open stage, and they arrived just as a performance was taking place.

The performers on stage were wearing elaborate women’s clothing and delicate makeup, but their prominent Adam’s apples were clearly visible.

Bai Sinian and Bian Rui took their seats, looking at the transgender performers on stage, suddenly feeling a bit awkward. How was he supposed to explain this? He really didn’t mean to bring his idol here to watch transgender performers.

After repeatedly saying he wasn’t gay, his current actions and words were contradictory. Would Bian Rui still believe him?

Bai Sinian secretly shed two tears in his heart.

He didn’t dare look up at the stage, only pretending to be very focused on ordering.

Bian Rui, however, watched the performance calmly, even commenting, “I didn’t expect the flexibility of the male body to be so good.”

The transgender performer on stage did a deep backbend, earning applause from the customers. Bai Sinian couldn’t help but glance, “Mm.”

Bian Rui: “Aren’t you interested?”

“Huh?”

Continuing to pretend would just be self-defeating.

Bai Sinian calmed his nerves and looked towards the stage, “It’s okay, I don’t reject it.” Luckily, his idol hadn’t misunderstood him.

Bian Rui let out a light laugh, “This is also a type of Thai culture. Although this performance form may be too avant-garde or controversial, from an artistic perspective, it is also worth recognizing and respecting.”

Bai Sinian didn’t expect Bian Rui to have such a broad perspective. At this age, classmates would just use “transgender” to insult each other, but Bian Rui could be so tolerant, seeing it as a cultural form.

My idol, you really are amazing!

His heart gained even more admiration. After all these years, he had never regretted liking Bian Rui!

Bai Sinian nodded, “Yes, by watching this kind of performance, we can also have a deeper understanding of Thai transgender culture and social phenomena.”

Soothing music played from the stage, and the transgender performers danced and performed in sync with the music. Some even interacted with the customers in the audience, creating a harmonious and lively atmosphere.

While chatting with Bian Rui about transgender topics, Bai Sinian was also helping him make a dipping sauce.

He only put a little bit of chili pepper in the prepared soy sauce, then squeezed in a few drops of lime juice and added a little chopped garlic, stirring it together.

For his own sauce, he added a lot of chili peppers, making it spicier.

The two sauces were very different, one leaning towards mildness, the other towards bold flavor.

Bian Rui noticed his actions, his eyes sharp as he looked at Bai Sinian, pausing for a moment before finally asking, “You seem to know my taste very well?”
