Chapter 15: Stay
Qin Huai was heavily injured, and his clothes had been messed up by Duan Ke. His slightly long black bangs were pushed back, revealing a forehead with superior bone structure.
He didn’t look ascetic and alienated like usual; instead, there was a flavor of casualness and languor.
His hands were large. Perhaps due to his work, there were thick calluses on his fingertips, capable of firmly controlling Duan Ke’s entire lower face. Duan Ke thought that if Qin Huai wanted to restrain both his wrists, he could easily do so with just one hand.
“Hm? Why aren’t you talking?” There was a hint of an indistinct smile in Qin Huai’s voice. “Really want to complain about him?”
Duan Ke hesitated, then summoned his courage to nod.
Anyway, my keeper is so nice; he definitely won’t tip off the Inquisitor, right?
“He is responsible for major monster attacks like this. Letting a civilian get hurt so badly without proper treatment is his fault to begin with.”
“I’m very angry,” Duan Ke hummed quietly. “He neglected his duty and caused you to get hurt. I’ll go secretly file an anonymous complaint tomorrow.”
Listening to the little kitten he had ruffled muttering away, Qin Huai let out another muffled laugh.
He released Duan Ke’s chin, moved his hand to the top of the fluffy head, and rubbed it twice. “Alright.”
“He is at fault. Don’t be angry anymore.”
The trailing note of this sentence was dragged out a bit long, low and husky, making it hard for Duan Ke to tell if this person was coaxing him or implying something else. But Qin Huai didn’t continue asking about this topic; instead, he shifted his focus to something else.
“You are also a monster. Would you hurt people like that scorpion did?”
When saying this, Qin Huai’s eyes were still smiling, but Duan Ke felt his current smile was a bit different from just nowโit carried a hint of scrutiny and observation.
Duan Ke wasn’t angry. Having just been heavily injured by a monster attack and now facing me, a monster, alone, how could Qin Huai not be wary?
The hand performing the treatment considerately became lighter. He softened his voice and promised Qin Huai, “I won’t.”
“I won’t hurt you. Don’t be afraid of me, okay?”
Qin Huai gave a “Mn” and guided patiently, “What about others?”
Duan Ke shook his head obediently again. “I never actively hurt people, and I won’t in the future either.”
Duan Ke thought about it and felt his empty words weren’t convincing enough. He secretly turned his tail into a cat tail and draped it fluffily over Qin Huai.
“I swear on a kitten’s most important thing! I will never lie!”
Qin Huai seemed to believe him. asking no more, he reached out, held Duan Ke’s tail very lightly in his hand, and rubbed it.
He quietly watched Duan Ke’s movements, occasionally cooperating with Duan Ke’s instructions to lift his arm or tilt his head.
A few minutes later, the wounds on Qin Huai’s body were completely healed, leaving no trace. Only the blood-stained gauze beside him proved he had been gravely injured just moments ago.
Healing of this magnitude was truly exhausting. Duan Ke began to feel dizzy almost the instant he stopped casting the spell.
He stood up and stretched extensively, barely managing to sober up a bit, and told Qin Huai he was going home to rest.
Qin Huai looked at Duan Ke’s reddish almond eyes and said indifferently, “You have a fever. Stay and rest; I’ll take care of you.”
Huh?
That sounds nice too. In my current state, having someone take care of me would definitely be much more comfortable.
Duan Ke didn’t dislike the feeling of being cared for by humans. He had once been seriously ill during his black ball phase, almost dying. A human had picked him up and taken care of him, saving his life. Although that human spoke very little and was icy cold, Duan Ke felt he was actually very gentle, and he remembered him to this day.
It was just a pity he was too sick to see clearly what that human looked like.
Although I really want Qin Huai to take care of me, but…
If it were any other time, Duan Ke might have politely asked Qin Huai if he could advance next week’s kiss to help him safely pass his heat.
But now Qin Huai had just recovered from a serious injury. Even with the healing spell, he needed to rest well. Duan Ke didn’t want to overdraw his keeper’s vitality at this time.
The first heat shouldn’t be particularly intense; he could just tough it out.
“No need, I can do it myself. Thank you, Brother Qin Huai.”
“Stay.” Qin Huai reached out to touch Duan Ke’s forehead. “Your face is burning red.”
Touched by him, Duan Ke’s mind wavered, his will gradually weakening. But he was a succubus with principles. He refused firmly, “Really, no need.”
“Why?” Qin Huai set a trap with a calm face. “Hate being at my house?”
“I don’t hate it, how could I!” Duan Ke got anxious.
“Then stay.”
Duan Ke didn’t know how he got trapped in a daze. Not knowing how to refuse, he was frantic, his white tail behind him wagging like an electric fan.
So strange, why is Qin Huai so clingy today!
Just then, Duan Ke’s lower abdomen was pushed twice through his clothes. The Small Black Ball’s hurried voice came into his mind.
“Since he said so, just stay, Lord Duan Ke! Allow him to comfort you!”
Duan Ke: “?”
Why do I recall Little Black turning its nose up at Qin Huai half an hour ago? Changed its mind after seeing him once?
Duan Ke transmitted his voice in confusion: “Why? Didn’t you dislike him?”
The Small Black Ball remained silent.
It poked the tip of its head out of Duan Ke’s pocket and took another peek at Qin Huai. That man’s data was completely exposed under its magic.
Age 25, eight-pack abs, height 186.
These were all normal, still within the human range.
What was abnormal were the last two lines.
[Duration: Indefinite. Based on partner’s needs, personal will, and time availability, ranging from 3 hours to 72 hours.]
What god-tier time is this? Even elastic? Does this man have no refractory period??
As for the length… needless to say.
The Small Black Ball didn’t want to describe it in detail; it was a mouthful just saying it. Anyway, it was a god-tier size capable of bullying Lord Duan Ke’s reproductive cavity until it squirted water.
After reading these lines, the Small Black Ball had long made peace with it. Matters having reached this point, whether it liked this man named Qin Huai was completely unimportant. Its King probably liked him quite a bit; no wonder he marked him after knowing him for only a few days.
Since he’s marked, he’s meant to be used! How can he resist the heat on his own!
One’s own right hand isn’t as fragrant as 20+, right?
The Small Black Ball extended a small claw to push Duan Ke again. “Stay, Lord Duan Ke! If you’re shy, I’ll find a chance to slip away later!”
Attacked from both sides, Duan Ke wavered. Seeing Duan Ke silent, Qin Huai thought he was dazed from fever, so he simply bent down, intending to scoop Duan Ke up by the knees.
[Author’s Note] Qin Huai is indeed pure human, but his sexual ability is indeed a bit beyond the human scope (eyes looking away). After all, the wife is the Succubus King; of course, he has to show the imposing manner of a Korean manhwa miner. [Applause] [Applause]
