Chapter 2: Want to Date, Huo Chen?
Two days passed in the blink of an eye.
This Is Love officially began filming, and the guests arrived at the grand manor one after another.
Lin Huaizhi sat in a business van, watching the guests appear in the livestream one by one. Finally, his gaze fixed on the man who appeared last.
In the lens:
A man wearing a casual sports outfit walked over slowly. His features were deep and defined, his nose bridge high, and his lips appeared thin. His monolids carved out an expression that didn’t seem easy to approach.
As he got closer, the camera tilted upward.
Even standing among a group of men and women, his height made him tower over them by a whole head.
Lin Huaizhi licked his lips.
It wasn’t just excellent; the face and body were exactly his type. It was as if this man had grown specifically to suit his tastes.

“Let us welcome this guest to the stage!”
Amidst scattered applause at the scene, Lin Huaizhi straightened the hem of his clothes and stepped out of the car.

Lin Huaizhi didn’t care about any of that.
He only cared about Huo Chen.
It was late spring in Long City, and the sunlight was pleasant today. Lin Huaizhi had specially chosen a white long-sleeved shirt, the hem tucked into the waist of his black trousers. While outlining his waistline, it also accentuated his legs, making them look straight and long.
He strolled leisurely to stand next to Huo Chen, then looked to his right and greeted everyone with a smile. “Hello everyone, I am Lin Huaizhi.”
The words were spoken to everyone, but his eyes were on Huo Chen’s face. Unfortunately, Huo Chen didn’t look at him.
“What are you doing here?”
Lin Huaizhi raised his eyes slightly and, unsurprisingly, saw Chu Xiaoran’s unkind gaze. He tugged at the corner of his lips and asked with a half-smile, “What do you think I’m doing here?”

Lin Huaizhi and Chu Xiaoran were both public figures. Lin Huaizhi didn’t like showing his face much, but he really did treat Chu Xiaoran well, often visiting him on set when he was filming.

There were others on the set who thought so too.
“Everyone knows President Lin and Brother Chu have a very special relationship. Surely, President Lin coming to participate in This Is Love this time must be for Brother Chu as well.”
The person who spoke was Fang Mo.
Unlike Lin Huaizhi’s sharp, dazzling beauty, Fang Mo had delicate features and carried a clean aura that easily generated goodwill.
Before Lin Huaizhi could speak, Chu Xiaoran hurriedly began to draw a line. “Don’t misunderstand, I don’t have that kind of interest in him! And I don’t like his type!”
The atmosphere instantly fell into a weird silence.
Lin Huaizhi, however, laughed.
Looking at Fang Mo, he slowly said, “You’re so certain I came here for him? But he looks average, his body is poor, and his height is about the same as mine. He really isn’t my dish.”
Ignoring Chu Xiaoran’s ugly expression, he flashed Fang Mo a not-so-sincere apologetic smile.
“Of course, I’m not disparaging your taste. After all, every turnip and cabbage has its love. If you like him, you can go ahead and chase him boldly. You don’t need to treat me as an imaginary enemy because, in this lifetime, aside from boss and employee, Chu Xiaoran and I will not have any other relationship.”

“Chase someone? Who do you want to chase?”
Lin Huaizhi didn’t answer him. Instead, he turned and leaned slightly toward the man beside him. However, just as he moved, his neck was seized by a large hand.
The owner of the hand looked at him with a pair of dark, sunken eyes.
“What are you doing?”
Lin Huaizhi showed no panic at having his vital point seized by someone else. He didn’t even stop his movement. Instead, braving the increasingly scarce air, he leaned in close to the man and placed a kiss on the corner of his lips.
“Want to date?”
“I’ve fallen for you at first sight, Huo Chen.”
