HIS PHEROMONE SMELLS LIKE CATNIP chapter 70.1

Chapter 70 part 1

“Let’s go, let’s head back to the room.”

As he spoke, Qin Yao reached out to carry Bai He, but Bai He sidestepped him.

“I can walk myself,” Bai He said helplessly. “Wait for me to change my clothes first.”

“Don’t change.” Qin Yao leaned in close; he really loved touching Bai He’s waist. “Keep it on.”

Qin Yao had seen this suit before. Since he was old enough to remember things, his Little Dad would occasionally bring it out to show him.

Little Dad said it was a formal outfit prepared for his omega younger brother or sister. Qin Yao had even suspected that this suit, which was older than he was, had originally been prepared for him.

However, Qin Yao also knew that his Little Dad had always hoped for an omega child. Recently, the family had taken Qin Diandian for testing. Unsurprisingly, she was indeed an alpha—after all, that little girl was someone who had beaten up two kindergarten bullies.

It was clear that this suit, which had sat idle for so many years, had finally found its owner.

The style of the suit remained trendy; even after all these years, this particular cut still dominated formal wear fashion. His Little Dad had majored in design, so the craftsmanship was naturally exquisite. The suit was beautiful, and Bai He looked stunning in it—it made Qin Yao unable to keep his hands off him.

He pulled Bai He by the waist with both hands, pressing the other man against his own body. His hands couldn’t help but caress those soft buttocks. “Didn’t you say you couldn’t undo the buttons? Let’s go to my room; I’ll help you.”

How could Bai He not understand what Qin Yao meant? He kept his voice low. “I need to find Nan-ge…”

“It’s very late. Little Dad needs to rest.”

Qin Yao kissed the center of Bai He’s brow. “Xiao Bao, we’re here now. I won’t go too far.”

Bai He was often bamboozled by Qin Yao. Just like now—even though he was already on guard, he truly thought Qin Yao wouldn’t do anything reckless since they were at home. So, he obediently followed him into the room.

It wasn’t his first time here; he had stayed in this room when he first transmigrated back. As soon as they entered, Qin Yao, standing behind him, shut the door. The crisp click of the lock made Bai He involuntarily tremble.

He turned to fumble for the light switch but was stopped by Qin Yao’s hand covering his.

Qin Yao was tall and broad, with large palms. He held Bai He’s slender wrist with one hand, unwilling to use any force, and gently scooped him up.

“Don’t turn on the main light. I have a lamp on the nightstand.” Qin Yao leaned into Bai He’s ear, his voice tinged with more than a little cunning. “Xiao Bao, I installed soundproofing panels in my room that block pheromones.”

Bai He was startled. He turned his head in the darkness to find Qin Yao’s face, but could only see a blurry outline and feel the other’s scorching breath.

“…When?” Bai He asked softly.

“After we left last time,” Qin Yao laughed, pressing against Bai He for a lingering kiss. When they parted, a thin silver thread was slowly drawn out between them. “I found time to come back.”

Bai He gasped for air. His hands rested on Qin Yao’s shoulders, gripping them tighter. “Qin Yao, you lia—Mm…”

He was kissed again. Bai He felt Qin Yao’s pheromones—the brandy scent that was gradually becoming intoxicating. It wasn’t the gentle top notes anymore; it was fierce.

He instantly felt his body go soft, collapsing into Qin Yao’s embrace. He hit the other man again and again, but his fists were as light as a kitten scratching an itch.

Qin Yao laid Bai He onto the bed. He leaned down and slowly began to undo those buttons, as if treating a very precious work of art. “Xiao Bao, I won’t let it hurt.”

The night was long. In the room wrapped in soundproofing panels, only a single bedside lamp was on. The soft yellow light was ambiguous and enchanting, casting their intertwined shadows on the wall like a vivid painting.

“Don’t bite your lip.” Qin Yao moved Bai He’s hand away from his face and leaned down. “Let it out, Xiao Bao.”

Bai He gritted his teeth, refusing to make a sound, only letting out small whimpers later on.

“Xiao Bao, be good…” Qin Yao lowered his head to kiss Bai He, coaxing and deceiving him. “Tomorrow I’ll kneel and admit my mistake. Tomorrow you can hit me or scold me however you want…”

This night was too long. Bai He was exhausted. The suit on his body was never fully removed; instead, it became a part of Qin Yao’s play.

It was the afternoon of the next day when Bai He opened his eyes.

Qin Yao wasn’t beside him. He moved his fingers, reached out to find his phone, and checked the time. He was startled. He tried to get up, but as soon as he propped himself up, a wave of soreness and weakness made him collapse back down.

Lying flat on the bed, he slowly curled up. The duvet formed creases with his movements. Bai He buried his head into the pillow; it smelled entirely of Qin Yao’s pheromones.

Qin Yao actually hadn’t been too excessive last night. He could even be considered gentle, coaxing him as usual to try various positions they hadn’t tried before. Deep down, Bai He was actually quite satisfied.

It had been really strange lately; it felt like it was never enough. The doctor said he was fine during the checkup, but Bai He just felt something about his body wasn’t quite right.

Thinking about last night made his face heat up. Remembering that this was the Qin family home made him feel even more ashamed. Not getting out of bed at this hour—anyone could guess what had happened…

A moment later, the bedroom door was slowly pushed open and then closed. Bai He peeked out from the duvet and saw Qin Yao sneaking in. Seeing Bai He’s eyes exposed, Qin Yao immediately hurried over to the bedside, gently poking his cheek with a finger. “Is Xiao Bao hungry?”

Bai He nodded, clutching the blanket. After a long time, he extended a hand and lightly hit Qin Yao. “You said I could hit you.”

Qin Yao took Bai He’s hand and slapped it against his own cheek. “I was wrong. Xiao Bao can hit me however he wants.”

Saying this, he held Bai He’s hand in both of his and rubbed it. “Today, it’s just us at home. I’ll carry you to wash up. Food is already ready downstairs; it’s all things you like.”

Bai He paused. “Just us?”

“Big Dad went to the company, Little Dad has a dessert class, and Qin Diandian went out with the old man.” Qin Yao leaned in to touch the tip of his nose to Bai He’s. “Just us.”

Hearing this, Bai He suddenly frowned. “You aren’t going to work? Oh right, I have my internship…”

It felt like the sky was falling. Bai He never wanted to miss work. It was a terrible feeling, not only potentially causing trouble for others but also weighing on his conscience.

“Don’t worry, the company is on holiday today.” Qin Yao kissed Bai He. “I sent out a notice last night. Everyone has been working hard lately, so they need a break.”

Only then did Bai He feel slightly better. He buried his head back into the pillow. After a good while, he let Qin Yao scoop him up to wash, and then carry him downstairs to eat.

After eating, he nestled back into the room. Thinking about it, he felt like he was wasting time, so he simply used Qin Yao’s computer to log into his livestream account and added an impromptu session.

Since it was mid-afternoon, it wasn’t suitable for ASMR sleep aid, so he decided to stream a game.

Bai He’s gaming skills could only be described as “he knows how to play.” Xingchen (Star) was an exploration game. If he encountered monsters while running the map, he would just control the character to grind through it.

Bai He didn’t build up his character. His account level was slowly climbing, but his damage output was becoming more and more like a “tickle” (scraping damage), causing the viewers in the comments to look pained.

[Xiao Bai baby, listen to us. Stop wandering around for a second. Let’s level up the character first, okay?]

[Yikes, he spent four minutes and twenty-four seconds scraping that mob. That health bar went down bit by bit!! Baby, you’re such a noob!!!]

[Build the character, Bao! Build—the—character—]

[Gosh, you can tell Xiao Bai likes running around. Is he sightseeing? But he’s fearless too; he goes up and provokes every monster he sees. He really makes me want to cry…]

[Xiao Bai, look at the comments! If you don’t build your character across so many zones, it’s going to be really hard later!!]

[The ASMR streamer I follow is a gaming black hole]

[Xiao Bai looks like the type who has never played games before. A total beginner. He doesn’t even know he needs to build the character first!! Such a cute and beautiful little newbie!! A pure newbie!! Xingchen, hurry up and give me a competitive mode, I want to show off ahhhhh!!!]

[Someone save our Bao. He’s scraped this mob three times now.]

[In a sense, that counts as perseverance, doesn’t it…]
