How Did the Promised Yandere Villain Become a Clingy, Obedient Dog? Chapter 2

Chapter 2: Puppy

The effects of the drug wore off. Cheng Ge’s strength was nearly exhausted. Finally, he punched Wen Ling hard in the chest and fainted on the bed.

Wen Ling was hit so hard he coughed violently. It took him a long time to recover, only to see Cheng Ge lying on the side, pretending to sleep.

This made Wen Ling dissatisfied. He turned over, choked Cheng Ge’s neck, and threatened him to get up.

“Again.”

Wen Ling’s hand tightened, but Cheng Ge didn’t react for a long time. Only then did he realize belatedly that the puppy had truly fainted.

Wen Ling looked at Cheng Ge’s side profile, blinked his eyes slowly twice, and remembered what just happened.

Forget it, obedient puppies get rewards.

Cheng Ge had a nightmare. He dreamed that his limbs were amputated, his body dissected, and his nose and mouth were blocked, leaving him to suffocate to death.

Cheng Ge snapped his eyes open, only to find the perpetrator who caused his nightmare lying on top of him, arms circling his waist, breathing steadily.

Damn it. Cheng Ge cursed silently. He wanted to shove the person onto the floor, but when he lifted his hand, he found the iron chain on his wrist was gone.

He moved his feet lightly and found the chain on his foot was gone too.

A gentleman takes revenge, ten years is not too late, Cheng Ge chanted silently.

He was going to personally send this humiliation-giving psycho to prison.

Cheng Ge carefully rolled Wen Ling to the side, gently pried open the hands circling his waist, and moved Wen Ling away. Even after putting distance between them, he couldn’t relax.

He got up, got out of bed, and walked to the door. Cheng Ge didn’t make a single sound.

His hand finally touched the door handle. The moment he twisted it open, Wen Ling mumbled something in his sleep. Cheng Ge’s heart leaped to his throat.

His head turned back mechanically. Wen Ling had only rolled over, facing him.

But he didn’t wake up.

Once out of the room and far away, Cheng Ge finally let out a slow sigh of relief.

Looking at the structure, the whole house seemed very large and very artistic.

The book said Wen Ling was an artist who did both traditional and digital art. His paintings were famous in the circle, and the price of each painting was bid very high. So, despite his young age, Wen Ling was very rich. Maybe he designed this house too.

Going downstairs, the walls of the staircase were covered in paintings. The colors were bright and eerie, making one’s hair stand on end for no reason.

When he reached the first floor, Cheng Ge searched for a long time before finding the main door of the living room. It was transparent, and outside was a small courtyard. Unlike the strangeness and grotesquerie inside, it looked somewhat desolate.

Exquisite or desolate, as long as he could get out, it was fine.

But Cheng Ge hadn’t been happy for even a second when his heart dropped to rock bottom again.

The door had a keypad lock.

But he couldn’t care less anymore. He directly entered the simplest “123456.” Incorrect. He entered “654321.” Also incorrect. Cheng Ge was dying of anxiety. Without hope, he entered a row of lucky numbers “666666,” and the door went “click.”

It opened!?

Cheng Ge was overjoyed. He went to push the door, but found it wouldn’t budge no matter what.

“Beep-do beep-do beep-do!”

“Beep-do beep-do beep-do!”

A piercing alarm sounded, penetrating the entire building. Cheng Ge’s heart was strung up.

Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck…

“Cheng Ge.”

A chill ran down Cheng Ge’s spine. He turned around and saw Wen Ling’s bruised and purple face smiling right at him. The smile was bottomlessly deep, extremely playful, and also extremely angry.

“Runaway puppy.”

“Disobedient.”

Will be punished, Cheng Ge silently finished the sentence in his heart.

This was a sentence Wen Ling loved to say in the book.

Looking at Wen Ling’s insidious and eerie expression, Cheng Ge suddenly felt he had been truly stupid just now. He should have taken advantage of Wen Ling sleeping to tie him up and threaten him instead.

But then he remembered the book said Wen Ling was a light sleeper. He probably couldn’t have accomplished those things just now.

No! Cheng Ge wanted to knock himself out. He was a strong and healthy sports student, how could he not beat a sickly invalid covered in injuries?

Cheng Ge decided to go for broke. He swung his fist and punched Wen Ling in the face and body. Sure enough, Wen Ling had no power to fight back and was pinned to the ground and beaten by him.

[Warning! Warning! Host behavior is dangerous!]

Cheng Ge completely disregarded the system’s warning. He struck without mercy, as if he wouldn’t stop until he returned all of yesterday’s humiliation.

Blood spilled from the corner of Wen Ling’s mouth, but he was still smiling, coughing and laughing at the same time. His pale, sickly hand stroked Cheng Ge’s waist. Before Cheng Ge could shake it off, he felt a sharp pain in his waist, and suddenly all his strength drained away.

It’s over! Cheng Ge wanted to knock himself out again.

He forgot this psycho had all kinds of injection drugs in his hands.

Cheng Ge didn’t have time to run. His consciousness faded rapidly, his vision went black, and he collapsed straight down…

When he opened his eyes again, Cheng Ge found himself firmly bound to the chair with iron chains, unable to move. His eyes were blindfolded, and his mouth was tightly stuffed with a cloth.

“Mmph! Mmph!”

Only now did Cheng Ge’s fear reach its peak.

He had read about this scenario in the book. Wen Ling would inject him with nerve-disrupting agents, making him feel pain all over his body like being cut by knives, and then turn him into an animal that only thought with its lower half, begging for love without dignity.

Shame, disgust, and fear all flooded his heart.

“Help… Mmph!” Because of his struggling, the chair began to shake violently.

Wen Ling patted Cheng Ge’s face. “You’re too noisy. Be quiet.”

Cheng Ge stopped struggling. The light but firm pain on his face made Cheng Ge understand that no matter how he struggled now, it was useless.

Wen Ling started laughing again. The laugh was innocent but very fake: “You’re so obedient.”

Obedient my ass!

Cheng Ge held back a ball of fire in his heart, close to exploding, but he could do nothing.

He heard rustling sounds around him and the crisp sound of glass colliding. Based on his memory of the book’s description, Cheng Ge could roughly guess that Wen Ling was mixing drugs.

What to do? What to do?

Desperate times call for desperate measures. Cheng Ge tried shouting in his mind: [Mechanical voice, mechanical voice, help! Someone’s going to die!!]

[Hello Host, I am 001.]

[Currently, the system detects you are in no life-threatening danger.]

Hearing the mechanical voice, Cheng Ge was both happy and angry: [But that’s fucking a fate worse than death!]

[…]

[How can I leave this ghost place!?]

[Conquer the yandere villain Wen Ling. Once the conquest value reaches 100%, the Host can return to the original world.]

[Is there no other way?]

[No.]

[What if I commit suicide right now?]

[You cannot go back. Permanent death.]

Fuck…

Cheng Ge was helpless: [What is that psycho’s current conquest value?]

[1%.]

Cheng Ge: “…”

If I die, I die. I absolutely cannot conquer a lunatic who humiliates me like last night.

Wen Ling dropped two white pills into the liquid medicine and shook it until the pills dissolved into the water.
