Chapter 33: Stop Being Angry
Cheng Ge had strong executive ability. After getting up, washing, and making breakfast, he nestled on the sofa to play games.
Because he was just starting, he picked a relatively niche game on the market. Although the market was smaller, the competition was also smaller, so the pressure was relatively less.
Wen Ling woke up and didn’t see Cheng Ge. He went to the kitchen, then to the bathroom to wash up, but still didn’t see Cheng Ge.
Before, Cheng Ge would always be in one of these places.
Wen Ling stood in the living room, suddenly feeling a trace of confusion. He couldn’t help feeling annoyed, and mostly uneasy. Even though he knew there was no possibility of Cheng Ge running away, he just wanted to be able to see Cheng Ge as soon as he woke up.
Preferably to be hugged and kissed. Cheng Ge’s body was very warm and soft, and had a fresh, light mint scent. He liked that kind of embrace.
“What are you dazing off for over there?”
Wen Ling heard Cheng Ge’s voice coming from the sofa. Cheng Ge poked a little bit of his head out to ask him.
“I was looking for you.”
Cheng Ge’s head had already lowered back down, the phone’s light shining on his face. “Looking for me for what?”
“Just looking for you.” Wen Ling walked over and saw Cheng Ge was lying on the sofa playing games, which was why he hadn’t seen him.
“Cheng Ge.” Wen Ling lay directly on top of Cheng Ge’s body, arms circling Cheng Ge’s waist, burying himself in Cheng Ge’s chest and nuzzling. His tone of voice was drawn out and lingering.
Cheng Ge’s hands didn’t stop moving, but a crack appeared on his serious face. Wen Ling’s tone and manner really looked like he was acting spoiled.
But actually, he wasn’t.
The first time Wen Ling hugged him like this was probably about two weeks ago. At that time, Wen Ling had just woken up and hugged him, burying his head in his lower abdomen, calling his name in a soft, fluffy tone.
Cheng Ge was startled by the little lunatic suddenly acting like this, thinking, Why is Wen Ling acting spoiled for no reason!?
Then he couldn’t control his mouth and asked directly, “Why are you acting spoiled out of nowhere!?”
What did Wen Ling say back then? He asked, “Why do you say I’m acting spoiled? Is this acting spoiled?”
“Isn’t it? Then why are you lying on me!?” Cheng Ge narrowed his eyes, not having time to correct his tone.
“I’m just a little sleepy…” Wen Ling said, covering his mouth to yawn.
“Does that count as acting spoiled?” Wen Ling asked him with round eyes, without a hint of shyness, just curiosity about the matter.
“Counts, I guess.” Cheng Ge felt speechless but also amused. Wen Ling was probably really just sleepy. “Pretty similar.”
Wen Ling concluded: “Then it isn’t. I don’t know how to act spoiled.”
“Uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh.” Cheng Ge humored him.
As a result, Wen Ling was doing this again today, making Cheng Ge unsure of what to do, cringing at himself.
” sleepy again?” Cheng Ge asked casually, ninety-nine percent of his attention still on the game.
“I’m not sleepy.”
After waiting a long time, Cheng Ge found a moment to reply with a single “Mn.”
Waiting a bit longer, Cheng Ge asked slowly, “Then why are you lying on me?”
He intended to make Wen Ling get off consciously. Unexpectedly, Wen Ling replied, “Like it.” That meant until Wen Ling had lain there to his satisfaction, he wouldn’t get down.
“Oh.”
Actually, it felt bearable. Wen Ling just quietly hugged him, not really affecting his… opera… tions… Dammit…
Wen Ling, unknown what madness possessed him, suddenly buried his face in his neck, kissing his neck, collarbone…
Cheng Ge wanted to sit up, but being pinned by Wen Ling, he had to hold back the itch, lifting the phone higher and higher.
And he had to try his hardest to resist getting angry and hitting the person causing chaos!
“Bro! Big Brother! Don’t move, promotion match, promotion match!” Cheng Ge reached the most critical situation.
Wen Ling actually stopped his movements, only observing Cheng Ge’s expression.
Lips pressed tight, brows slightly furrowed, eyeballs glued to the screen, incredibly serious.
Cheng Ge played too intently and didn’t notice Wen Ling’s expression wasn’t good. If one were to examine exactly how it wasn’t good…
It was similar to the look he had when watching Cheng Ge tease the little bird before.
“Victory” appeared on the screen. Cheng Ge’s tense body relaxed slightly, but before he could fully relax, a sudden pain on his collarbone suspended his heart again.
Wen Ling didn’t bite hard, but because the collarbone was sensitive, it felt painful. And itchy. Not only was the collarbone itchy, but his jaw and neck being swept by Wen Ling’s hair were also itchy.
Cheng Ge turned his head to dodge, fingers threading into Wen Ling’s hair. He didn’t dare pull the little lunatic’s hair, but his tone was already bad: “What exactly are you doing?”
Disturbing his game and biting him—what kind of crazy was this!?
[Conquest value -1%]
Wen Ling didn’t stop moving. Cheng Ge couldn’t see the little lunatic’s expression clearly, but realized with a delayed reaction that this person was throwing a tantrum. To be more serious, he was already angry.
Although he didn’t know what the little lunatic was angry about, compared to needles and small knives, just biting him was considered light.
Cheng Ge sighed in his heart, placing his hand on Wen Ling’s back, stroking gently to soothe him.
“What’s wrong with you?”
Wen Ling gave Cheng Ge’s collarbone one last bite, then stopped moving and didn’t reply.
“Stop being angry,” Cheng Ge protected Wen Ling’s head and rolled over, putting Wen Ling under him.
Wen Ling’s stink face had nowhere to hide.
“Mmph…”
Cheng Ge cupped Wen Ling’s face and kissed him once. Seeing the person was still unhappy, he kissed him several more times.
The kissing and hugging method really worked every time on Wen Ling.
“What are you angry about? Tell me.” Cheng Ge softened his tone, speaking buried by Wen Ling’s ear, then propped himself up to look at Wen Ling.
Unknown if from the tickling or some other reason, Wen Ling’s eyelashes trembled several times. Finally, a layer of mist appeared in his eyes, and his lip color was bitten red by himself, looking like he had been bullied by Cheng Ge.
“You ignored me.” Wen Ling said. It was completely a positive declarative sentence, carrying resentment, as if it were really true.
“How did I ignore you?” Cheng Ge widened his eyes, feeling he was being wrongly accused (carrying a black wok).
Cheng Ge considered that he had responded to every sentence Wen Ling said. Even if Wen Ling spouted nonsense, he would “uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh” in agreement.
“You kept looking at the phone, didn’t look at me.”
“I was playing a game. You can’t be disturbed when playing games!” Cheng Ge had suffering he couldn’t voice. If his roommates in the past dared to disturb his game like this, he would have kicked them off long ago; where would they get the turn to throw a tantrum?
Pity that Cheng Ge knew Wen Ling wouldn’t understand this. He would only stubbornly feel that he ignored him, that his attention was on the phone, and then want to smash the phone so his gaze would fall back on him.
Cheng Ge had already figured out this damn yandere’s stubborn mindset.
Wait, he suddenly realized, Wen Ling didn’t smash his phone.
“Why didn’t you smash my phone?”
Wen Ling turned his face away: “Held back.”
That meant the little lunatic had indeed originally wanted to smash his phone.
Cheng Ge was amazed. What reason could make a person like Wen Ling hold back?
“How did you hold back?” Cheng Ge pecked Wen Ling’s lips. “Tell me.”
Author’s Note: Little Cheng, why don’t you ask why wifey kissed you?
Little Wen is jealous!! Unhappy! But already learning to restrain himself.
