Chapter 4
Shen Shuyu carried Wen Jiafei to the Alpha emergency room. He sat on the long bench outside, panting, his head covered in sweat.
Just as he was about to raise his hand to take off his mask, Xiao 1 reminded him in his mind:【Master~ I don’t suggest you take off your mask! The Alpha pheromones here are too high. Although you are wearing an inhibitor patch, you must still be careful!】
Hearing the warning, Shen Shuyu forcefully stopped himself. He only took off his hat, holding the brim to fan himself.
He raised a hand to scratch his hair, which was messy from being pressed by the hat. Using the webbing between his thumb and index finger, he pushed his hair back from his forehead, revealing his brow and eyes.

The doctor said, “Not yet. We’ll push him into the ward soon. Once the IV drip is finished, he can leave.”
Shen Shuyu thanked him. After the doctor left, Wen Jiafei was pushed out by the nurse. He still hadn’t woken up, his brows tightly furrowed; he looked very unsettled.
He followed the nurse all the way to the VIP ward. Once the nurse left, only then did he take off the mask and hat, breathing a sigh of relief.

After arranging everything, Shen Shuyu left the hospital.

Shen Shuyu’s gaze fell on Shen Yisi. He was still wearing the shirt and suit pants he went out in this morning. The top two buttons of his white shirt were undone, slightly revealing his collarbone. His sleeves were rolled up to the crook of his arm, revealing a section of smooth forearm. Further up, sleeve garters were tightly clamped on his upper arms, outlining the traces of his muscles.
Shen Yisi saw Shen Shuyu staring straight at him and chuckled lightly. He said, “When you are outside, you can’t stare at other Alphas like this.”
Shen Shuyu snapped back to reality, his ears inexplicably turning a bit red. He quickly turned his head away. “Just looking casually.”
As a Double-S Alpha, Shen Yisi’s looks and figure were naturally top-tier. Coupled with his family background, countless Omegas wanted to marry him every year. But Shen Yisi seemed to be missing a romantic bone; after so many years, he hadn’t been seen getting close to any Omega. During his Rut, he just shut himself in his room, keeping himself extremely clean.
Shen Shuyu turned back, changing the subject: “Brother, what are you doing?”
Shen Yisi raised his eyebrows slightly and tilted his head toward the kitchen: “Go see for yourself.”
Shen Shuyu walked into the kitchen curiously, only to see fruit, flour, and milk placed on the large counter. The oven on the side was operating. Shen Shuyu said, “Making a cake?”
Shen Yisi also walked in. He said, “I came back early today, so I made some snacks for you.”
The original host was the only Omega in the Shen family. Whether in the branch families or the main house, everyone was Alpha or Beta, so from the moment he differentiated, he received almost all the attention.
As his biological brother, Shen Yisi spoiled the original host to the heavens, raising him to be arrogant.
The oven gave a ding, reminding them the baking was done. Shen Yisi put on gloves and took the items out of the oven. The fragrant, soft cake base was ready. He skillfully cut it open with a knife, squeezed on cream, and added fruit. He said, “Taste it?”
Shen Shuyu was naturally willing. Being poor before, he almost never ate these things. He took a bite and gave Shen Yisi a thumbs up: “Delicious.”
Shen Yisi curled his lips. He took off the gloves, washed his hands, and dried them with a towel. Only then did he reach out and use the pad of his finger to wipe away the cream that had accidentally stuck to the corner of Shen Shuyu’s mouth: “Eat slowly.”
Shen Shuyu nodded. Shen Yisi continued squeezing cream, but his words didn’t stop. He said, “You went to the company; why didn’t you wait for me?”
Shen Shuyu mumbled vaguely, “I wanted to go out for a walk by myself.”
Shen Yisi gave an “Oh.” Then he asked nonchalantly, “By the way, that person in the hospital—how did you meet him?”
Shen Shuyu’s body froze, and he suddenly looked up at Shen Yisi standing in front of him.
