I Became a Heartthrob After Transmigrating into an ABO World chapter 9

Chapter 9

“Omega?” The Beta teacher said in surprise, “I thought everyone here was an Alpha or Beta.”

He asked again, “Are you sure? Although we only fight until a point is scored, the power disparity between Alphas and Omegas is significant.”

Shen Shuyu moved his neck and hands in a pretentiously serious manner. “I’m sure. After all, I still need to get an A+ grade.”

Anyway, I’ll faint after one move. The sooner I get on stage, the sooner it ends.

Chi Yanxun was about to refuse, but the Beta teacher had already walked to the side and blew his whistle. “Start!”

Shen Shuyu charged forward first, his clenched fist aiming straight for Chi Yanxun’s nose. Just a split second before impact, Chi Yanxun tilted his head slightly and raised a hand to block Shen Shuyu’s attack.

Shen Shuyu shouted internally: [Xiao 1!]

The next second, his vision went black, and his entire body swayed lightly before collapsing to the side.

Three seconds before his consciousness completely severed its connection with the outside world, he felt someone pick him up.

Nice, looks like the plan worked!

When Shen Shuyu woke up, he was already in the academy’s infirmary. He didn’t rush to get up but instead stared blankly at the ceiling for a moment.

It wasn’t until someone pulled open the curtains around him and a doctor in a white coat approached his bed that he snapped out of it. The doctor asked gently, “How are you? Do you feel uncomfortable anywhere?”

The doctor was a female Omega. She gently touched Shen Shuyu’s forehead. “You’re fine now.”

Shen Shuyu sat up. His gaze landed on the name tag pinned to the doctor’s chest, and he asked obediently, “Teacher Su, where is the classmate who brought me here?”

“Are you talking about Chi Yanxun? He went back to class after dropping you off.” Teacher Su was very gentle. She said, “You just finished your heat period. You shouldn’t stay around so many Alphas for long periods. Even if it’s unavoidable, you must wear an inhibitor patch properly, understand?”

Shen Shuyu belatedly touched the back of his neck and found that an inhibitor patch had indeed been applied. “Okay, Teacher Su, I understand.”

Teacher Su gave him a few more instructions, telling him to rest a bit longer before leaving.

Shen Shuyu lay back down. He glanced at the watch on his wrist; it was only eleven in the morning, still half an hour before class ended.

In this part of the plot, the teacher had Chi Yanxun carry him to the school infirmary. On his way back to the classroom, Chi Yanxun encountered the newly transferred Protagonist Shou, Shen Xili.

He was also the Shen family’s true youngest son, an Alpha.

But currently, only Shen Shuyu knew this information. The recognition scene was a major plot point in the mid-to-late stages of the novel.

Shen Xili and Chi Yanxun had already come out to their families about their relationship, but AA (Alpha-Alpha) relationships weren’t mainstream—they were considered outliers. Naturally, they faced opposition from the Chi family. Not only that, but the classic scene also played out: “Here’s tens of millions, leave my son.”

Shen Xili already felt inferior due to his background. Just as he was about to leave, he accidentally bumped into Shen Yisi’s secretary.

The two Shen brothers were both Alphas, and even their backs looked similar, causing the secretary to mistake him for someone else.

But the melodramatic part was that this secretary had been given a hard time by Shen Shuyu before. He secretly investigated on his own, and the investigation unearthed the “true and fake young master” situation.

Shen Shuyu snapped back to reality and asked: [I remember the Protagonist Gong and Shou fought the first time they met. I wonder if they’re done fighting yet. Can I go watch the fun?]

Xiao 1 said: [No, Master~]

What a pity.

Shen Shuyu lamented silently. It didn’t matter much to him; after lying there for five minutes, he got up, prepared to leave early. After pulling a series of “big moves” today, he was getting a bit hungry.

Anyway, his scenes for the day were over. He might as well go home and look through some mecha materials.

When he pulled back the curtain, Teacher Su was no longer there.

Shen Shuyu swaggered out of the school infirmary and walked toward the school gate from the other side. Just as he turned the corner, two men with sour faces walked side by side from the other end of the corridor. Both had injuries on their faces as they walked into the infirmary together.

As Shen Shuyu walked, he listened to the system’s broadcast. It said the Protagonist Gong and Shou had finished fighting, and during the intervals of their brawl, they had finally cleared things up—it was a huge misunderstanding.

However, this fight not only created a grudge but also forged a bond. As expected of protagonists, even a fight could spark the flames of love.

Shen Shuyu quickly reached the main gate. Unexpectedly, when he looked up, he saw several “Yellow Hairs” standing not far from the school entrance.

Shen Shuyu naturally recognized them. Last week, they were the ones who had cornered Wen Jiafei in the alley to bully him, and they seemed to have cut Wen Jiafei’s face with a glass shard.

He hadn’t looked closely then.

They were probably here to block Wen Jiafei again today.

Shen Shuyu thought for a moment, then turned around and walked back to the Mecha Department’s teaching building.

Just then, the academy’s bell rang, signaling the end of morning classes.

Shen Shuyu looked back. It was obvious that the group led by Yellow Hair perked up, staring intently at the academy gate. It seemed they really were blocking Wen Jiafei.

Shen Shuyu walked outside the combat classroom and looked in through the window. Most people had left, but Wen Jiafei and two other students had been kept behind by the teacher to clean up.

He waited for a while. After everyone else had left, he walked in with his arms crossed, acting high and mighty.

“Hey, is my test paper done?”

Wen Jiafei turned around, glanced at Shen Shuyu, and then said, “No.”

Shen Shuyu frowned. “Didn’t I tell you to give it to me by noon? So slow over just one paper.”

Wen Jiafei didn’t speak. Shen Shuyu said, “Forget it, come with me this noon.”

After speaking, he turned and walked out the door. He was actually a bit worried Wen Jiafei wouldn’t follow. When he reached the door, he looked back and confirmed the other was following before continuing forward.

Xierteng Academy had more than one gate. With the system’s help, Shen Shuyu quickly led Wen Jiafei to the back door. There was almost no one there because it was far from the main road and very inconvenient.

Shen Shuyu turned his head. Wen Jiafei was about three steps away from him. Seeing Shen Shuyu stop, he also stopped, then said indifferently, “Beat me then.”

Even when asking Shen Shuyu to beat him, his tone had no fluctuation, as calm as if he were saying the weather today was average or wondering what to eat for lunch.

Shen Shuyu choked for a moment, then reacted. “Keep up.”

He turned and walked toward his house. Blinking, he couldn’t help but say to the system: [How exactly did the original host treat Wen Jiafei before? This is too scary.]

Xiao 1’s indicator light only flashed twice; it didn’t speak.

The house Shen Yisi found was in a great location, less than a ten-minute walk away. Shen Shuyu entered the house, threw his bag on the sofa, looked at Wen Jiafei who entered after him, and shouted, “I’m hungry, go cook for me.”

Wen Jiafei looked at him with an indescribable expression. “Cook?”

Shen Shuyu crossed his legs. “Yes, cook for me.”

Wen Jiafei stared at him for a few more seconds, seemingly wondering what trick this little young master was playing today. But Shen Shuyu had already turned on the TV, preparing to watch a popular drama on this planet.

It wasn’t until Wen Jiafei put down his things and walked into the kitchen that Shen Shuyu’s tense body finally relaxed. He pretended to glance coldly at the kitchen, and only after confirming he couldn’t see Wen Jiafei did he heave a heavy sigh.

He didn’t know how it happened, but he had brought Wen Jiafei over.

But, it was better than him facing those hooligans.
