Shen Shuyu lifted his chin. “You sit inside.”
Wen Jiafei moved his things to the inner seat without a word. Shen Shuyu plonked down and took out his books.
Shen Shuyu yawned, lying on the table. “Call me when the teacher comes. I got up too early; sleepy.”
Wen Jiafei pursed his lips. “En.”
Shen Shuyu buried his face in the crook of his arm with relief. But just as he closed his eyes, he heard Wen Jiafei say, “You went to find Chi Yanxun that day too?”
Shen Shuyu turned his face sideways, exposing one eye to look at Wen Jiafei. “How do you know?”
Logically, Wen Jiafei shouldn’t know about this matter, and he didn’t seem like the type to read gossip.
“Lin Xuyi sent it to me.” Wen Jiafei confessed honestly.
No wonder Lin Xuyi had been dragging him to play games for the past two days. So he was afraid he’d be sad.
Shen Shuyu gave an “Oh.” He said, “I did go find him to give him a gift, but he threw it in the trash can.”
Wen Jiafei’s gaze fell on Shen Shuyu’s face, seemingly unable to figure out why he was so calm when he clearly liked Chi Yanxun so much.
Shen Shuyu sighed. “My brother knows about this too.”
Wen Jiafei blinked. “President Shen scolded you?”
“En.” Shen Shuyu scratched his head. “Not really scolding. What could my brother say to me?”

Wen Jiafei had nothing to say. He lowered his head and continued reading the book in his hand. Shen Shuyu, however, lost his sleepiness now. He leaned his whole body toward Wen Jiafei and asked, “How has Auntie been these two days?”
“Okay,” Wen Jiafei answered.
“Is she awake?”
“No.”

Shen Shuyu asked several questions in a row, and Wen Jiafei answered them all very patiently.
Shen Shuyu was quite satisfied. If it were in the past, Wen Jiafei would have turned mute by the second question.
