Chapter 34 part 1
Most of the next day was spent traveling to a coastal city.
The weather had turned cold. While waiting for their flight at the airport, Tang Yue didn’t forget to put an extra jacket on Tang Mian.
But he looked extremely tired, as if he could fall asleep standing up. Yao Lixin felt like laughing and asked, “What were you doing last night? Sneaking around? You’re so sleepy.”
Tang Yue squatted down to help Tang Mian put on his coat. The little boy seemed a little embarrassed and refused Tang Yue’s help.
He even held Tang Yue’s face and carefully examined him for a long time.
Tang Yue leaned against the child’s palm, looking like he was about to fall asleep again.
Tang Mian: “Didn’t Papa sleep well again?”
Jiang Shulu had a temporary matter to attend to halfway through the trip, something related to his company, and couldn’t catch the same flight.
Tang Yue breathed a sigh of relief.
At this moment, his son’s voice was soft and tender, and Tang Yue softened as well. He weakly hummed in response.
Tang Mian: “Why? Did you guys chat all night?”
Yao Lixin stood aside playing with her phone. Liu Xicháo had also set off and said he would meet up with them at their destination.
Tang Yue: “Not all night, we just talked until very late.”
His voice got lower and lower, and he felt a little guilty because his child was still young, and what he and Jiang Shulu did was clearly inappropriate for children.
Tang Yue hadn’t expected that just a few days later, he would be so easily swayed. He had decided repeatedly when he saw Jiang Shulu again that he couldn’t reveal anything.
He completely, completely overestimated his self-control.
A simple kiss wasn’t enough. Tang Yue even suspected that he had become addicted, wanting to breathe Jiang Shulu’s breath, and needing to kiss more forcefully even after a few seconds apart.
Yet he had been separated from Jiang Shulu for five years.
He had no problem taking care of his desires occasionally during those five years, but why was it completely different with the Captain?
If it weren’t for the different location, Tang Yue would have wanted to relive those memories immediately.
But Tang Yue was too eager, completely opposite to his rejection just days ago, causing Jiang Shulu to laugh continuously. When he hugged him, he asked for confirmation several times, saying that a boyfriend and a boyfriend with a certificate were two different things, and the things they could do were also different.
Tang Yue felt everyone treated him like a fool.
He had a child with Jiang Shulu even before they were anything, so how could he not know that they could do other things even without a title?
Unfortunately, Jiang Shulu said he wasn’t ready, that they couldn’t go too far, and he had a more convincing reason—
They were traveling and it was tiring.
But didn’t they still end up touching and kissing until dawn before falling asleep?
Seeing Tang Yue spacing out again, Tang Mian thought he was dizzy. The little boy reached out and straightened Tang Yue’s hair, “Then Papa can sleep on the plane later.”
A circle of fans surrounded them. They had originally come to see their idol from years past, but the child was also very cute. In just a few days, many people had successfully become “grandma fans,” excited just watching Tang Yue and Tang Mian together.
Seeing the child so skillfully fixing Tang Yue’s hair and putting on his hat, they all exclaimed in delight.
The fans were very clear about Tang Yue’s preferences and still ordered flowers according to the old specifications, giving them to Tang Yue.
Tang Mian, who was being held by Tang Yue as they boarded the plane, didn’t expect that someone in the crowd would call his name, shouting things like “I like you,” “I love you,” and so on.
This was the first time the little boy had experienced such a scene. Even though he was well-behaved, he couldn’t help but feel shy, burying his face in Tang Yue’s shoulder and becoming quiet.
Tang Yue: “Aren’t these your favorite sisters?”
Yao Lixin beside them: “Kids nowadays all like pretty sisters.”
Yao Xuan’yu, whom she was holding, hummed: “I don’t.”
Yao Lixin: “I can see you don’t like anyone.”
She let Tang Yue walk ahead, and said to Yao Xuan’yu: “Uncle Liu, whom you met once before, is coming. Are you happy?”
Even at six years old, the cool-looking Yao Xuan’yu loved watching TV series. Liu Xicháo’s hit dramas had been airing recently, and he had watched many of them with his mother, constantly asking for autographs.
Tang Mian: “The Uncle Liu who tells ghost stories?”
Yao Lixin: “Why do you only remember that?”
Yao Xuan’yu: “Then Uncle Jiang isn’t coming?”
After boarding the plane, the children still wanted to sit together, with Tang Yue sitting next to Yao Lixin.
Hearing Yao Xuan’yu’s question, Yao Lixin pointed at Tang Yue: “Ask him.”
Yao Xuan’yu didn’t understand yet. After all, it was Tang Mian who had secretly watched his own father last night. Yao Xuan’yu had perfectly missed it because he fell asleep early.
Tang Yue was just about to put on his eye mask when Yao Lixin suddenly pointed at him, and he exclaimed, “Why ask me?”
Yao Lixin: “The Captain has always been partial. His heart is with you now, he’ll definitely tell you everything.”
The man with his long hair tied up smiled brightly, his teasing tone unrestrained, and he winked at Tang Yue, as if he knew a lot.
Tang Yue: “Wh-what’s with my heart?”
He suddenly thought of the refusal to go further, subconsciously pursing his lips: “Th-the Captain said he would arrive later.”
Yao Lixin nodded: “See? I told you he would only tell you, he wouldn’t even tell me.”
Yao Xuan’yu also heard his uncle’s teasing and turned to huddle with Tang Mian to look at picture books.
The crew chartered a plane, and some people were still discussing work on board.
Tang Yue was incredibly sleepy and was about to go to sleep when he heard Yao Lixin ask: “Xiao Yue, what are your plans for the future?”
