Chapter 82 IF / Dating Within the Group part 1
“Xiao Yue, have you changed your clothes?”
Liu Xichao asked from outside the changing room.
Another stage performance ended, and everyone was going to a group dinner. Liu Xichao waited for a long time, realizing Tang Yue hadn’t come out yet.
Tang Yue: “Almost done!”
Liu Xichao checked the group messages; Yao Lixin and Jiang Shulu were already in the car.
He asked Tang Yue again: “Need help? I know this outfit is hard to change out of. Why didn’t you ask the assistant sister for a hand?”
The stage styling this time was complex, with layers upon layers of clothes, giving a heavy feeling when dancing.
During training, Tang Yue often collapsed to the side, making Liu Xichao want to laugh.
Tang Yue: “It’s okay, I don’t like people changing my clothes.”
Liu Xichao waited a few more minutes.
Tang Yue: “San-ge, let’s go. Are we eating Japanese food?”
Liu Xichao nodded.
The changing rooms were separated this time. Jiang Shulu and Yao Lixin were closer to the parking lot. Yao Lixin was waiting to choose dishes and wanted to pull Jiang Shulu along to order first.
Because of a previous incident where a sasaeng fan sneaked into the backstage changing room, Yao Lixin was afraid Tang Yue might encounter bad people.
Liu Xichao: “You should eat less sashimi.”
Tang Yue gave an “Oh”: “Last time was…”
Quite some time had passed since the holiday, and Chinese New Year was coming soon.
The company would give them two days off, as long as they prepared a video for fans at home.
Yao Lixin asked Liu Xichao to bring his brother and Tang Yue to his house for the New Year, but Tang Yue hesitated greatly, constantly looking at Jiang Shulu.
Liu Xichao: “Have you thought about New Year’s?”
Tang Yue: “I went to Er-ge’s house last year. Would it be bad to go again this year?”
Liu Xichao was about to say you actually learned social etiquette, but didn’t expect Tang Yue to ask: “Is San-ge spending it with the Boss?”
Tang Yue watched Liu Xichao’s face change.
Although not as constantly stoic as Jiang Shulu, the other party usually wore a smile and wasn’t annoying.
At this moment, the smile froze, the corners of his eyes twitched, and he looked somewhat fierce.
Tang Yue asked cautiously: “No?”
Liu Xichao: “Who told you I’m spending New Year’s with the Boss?”
Tang Yue: “Captain told me you often accompany the Boss for meals.”
If others heard this, they would definitely think dirty thoughts, but Tang Yue spoke without any romantic implication.
Liu Xichao: “Jiang Shulu is sick in the head.”
Tang Yue: “Captain isn’t sick.”
The next second, his cheek was pinched by Liu Xichao. Liu Xichao hooked his arm around his shoulder walking toward the car, greeting staff members they encountered. The two looked very intimate.
“Their relationship is so good.” “I ship this pair, you?” “I ship Yao Lixin and Tang Yue.” “Already defeated by Captain x Maknae, right?” “Feel like their group atmosphere is really good.”
Liu Xichao: “Don’t listen to Jiang Shulu’s nonsense. I have no other relationship with Jiang He.”
Tang Yue: “Then what relationship is it?”
Liu Xichao was at a loss for words again. After all, he was materialistic and worshipped money. Jiang He was his prey, but given the age and experience gap, it was quite difficult for Liu Xichao to conquer him.
He could only change the topic, asking Tang Yue: “Then who do you want to spend it with?”
Tang Yue: “With the Captain.”
Ever since catching Jiang Shulu going to Tang Yue’s room in the middle of the night, Liu Xichao’s look at them wasn’t innocent.
But Jiang Shulu was truly unfathomable. Liu Xichao naturally didn’t get along with such people, feeling the guy looked even less peaceful than Jiang He.
Perhaps because Tang Yue was too open, Liu Xichao asked knowingly: “You dare to go to his house?”
He still remembered Tang Yue’s discomfort when going to the Jiang house to record a video.
Honestly, none of the three liked that atmosphere.
Yao Lixin was naturally cheerful and felt it was deathly still there.
Liu Xichao only lamented that Jiang He was indeed someone who crawled out of that coffin, no wonder his complexion was so bad.
Jiang Shulu, without these boy band years, would probably be a respectable-looking zombie by now.
Tang Yue: “Captain can spend it with me at the dorm.”
Liu Xichao was speechless. Even sitting in the Japanese restaurant, he stared at Jiang Shulu with an unhappy look.
Yao Lixin, while picking sashimi for Tang Yue and lamenting that he seemed to be raising a cub, joked: “Fell in love with the Captain? Looking so deeply.”
Liu Xichao nearly sprayed out his sake.
Jiang Shulu: “Uncle and I don’t look alike.”
Yao Lixin: “What uncle? The Boss? Xichao, are you close with the Boss?”
Yao Lixin knew quite a lot, but not every piece of team gossip was within his grasp.
For example, he only knew Tang Yue and Jiang Shulu were close, but didn’t know to what extent, nor did he know Liu Xichao also had someone he liked.
Liu Xichao: “Not close. Eat your natto.”
Yao Lixin: “Your temper isn’t good recently. Online dating not going well?”
He really knew how to rub salt in the wound. Before Liu Xichao could speak, Jiang Shulu laughed.
Tang Yue: “Is San-ge online dating the Boss?”
Yao Lixin choked on the natto, nearly coughing to death.
Finally, face flushed, he looked at Liu Xichao: “I treat you as a brother, and you want to be the Boss’s wife?”
Liu Xichao didn’t want to be exposed so quickly. He hesitated for a while, then simply dragged Jiang Shulu down with him: “Jiang Shulu has already completely rooted up our cabbage.”
Jiang Shulu’s hand extending chopsticks paused.
Yao Lixin looked at Tang Yue and asked in a whisper: “Xiao Yue, does ‘completely rooted’ mean what I think it means?”
Tang Yue: “What kind of rooting?”
Yao Lixin: “Like… thoroughly getting hands-on, deep development… right?”
Tang Yue: “Hands-on?”
Even after being an idol for two years, the little alien only half-understood certain slang. Reading some adult literature occasionally required searching for the meaning of dirty words.
He often read until his face was red, unaware that when he copied those words on his tablet, Jiang Shulu, working nearby, copied the paragraph on his computer and almost sent that dirty word to his assistant.
But Jiang Shulu didn’t expose him, just turned to look at Tang Yue nestled in the rocking chair, face flushed, seemingly very shy.
Tang Yue was direct yet shy, possessing a naturally contradictory charm.
One kiss wasn’t enough; two kisses and he wanted to use tongue; three kisses and he went soft.
Thinking he was being clingy inconspicuously, in reality, he was full of flaws.
His whole body seemed to radiate an aura of “come stick to me,” making Jiang Shulu exceptionally vexed, feeling his proud self-control was nullified.
Yao Lixin couldn’t ask anymore and glanced at Jiang Shulu.
Jiang Shulu: “Stop asking.”
Jiang Shulu took away Tang Yue’s wasabi, afraid he’d get a stomachache from eating too much.
Tang Yue understood with a delay: “Are you asking if the Captain and I have slept together?”
He was quite regretful: “Captain said no.”
Yao Lixin was about to cry. The heavy feeling of raising a flower painstakingly only to have it ravaged by someone weighed heavily on him. He glared fiercely at Jiang Shulu. Even knowing these two slept together during the overseas tour, he couldn’t help asking for details: “When did the Captain confirm the relationship with Xiao Yue?”
Tang Yue: “Not long. Captain and I have to date secretly too. We don’t kiss every day, and can’t sleep together. Actually, nothing much changed.”
The little alien sounded a bit disappointed: “I thought dating was…”
Jiang Shulu: “Was what?”
Tang Yue: “Very thrilling.”
Yao Lixin blushed.
Although he acted like a seasoned driver re-employed every day and was incredibly flirtatious in the idol circle, he was still a pure virgin.
To the extent that his first love thought he was gay.
Liu Xichao: “What are you thinking? You’re still young, don’t get tricked.”
Tang Yue: “Captain won’t trick me.”
Liu Xichao thought for a moment and asked: “What about after disbandment next year? Are you going public?”
Yao Lixin: “Anyway, they say same-sex marriage will be allowed in two years. There isn’t much discrimination now. Just your family…”
Jiang Shulu: “We will go public.”
He smiled: “It’s going very smoothly at the moment, you don’t need to worry.”
Tang Yue wanted to order another plate of sashimi but was stopped by Jiang Shulu. Jiang Shulu: “I’ll take you to eat something else later.”
New Year was coming soon. Yao Lixin asked: “So what does Xiao Yue think? Still going to my house this year?”
Tang Yue looked at Jiang Shulu.
Jiang Shulu: “We’ll spend it at the dorm.”
Yao Lixin gave a “Wow”: “Really? Captain, you’re not going home for New Year greetings?”
