Part 3
Tang Yue: “I’m not joking with you, really.”
Tang Yue had mentioned it on variety shows before. “Alien” almost became a meme. Jiang Shulu even saved the video of that famous scene.
Tang Yue arguing until his face and neck turned red was just too cute.
Jiang Shulu hummed: “Then where are you from?”
Tang Yue: “Planet 9787.”
Jiang Shulu: “Is it a planet in the solar system?”
Tang Yue choked.
Jiang Shulu asked again: “Can I search for it?”
Tang Yue shook his head.
Jiang Shulu smiled: “Is Xiao Yue dreaming?”
Tang Yue: “No, I really am an alien. My planet is constant temperature.”
Jiang Shulu: “Did you read some interstellar novel?”
Tang Yue gave an “Ah”: “What’s the name?”
The next second he realized his attention was being diverted again. He grabbed Jiang Shulu’s hand: “Shulu-ge, I’m telling the truth.”
He looked at Jiang Shulu, unaware that there was cream on his lips.
Jiang Shulu: “Then how did Xiao Yue come here?”
Tang Yue: “Planetary collision.”
Jiang Shulu: “I see.”
Tang Yue sighed: “I know this is hard to accept.”
Jiang Shulu: “I believe you.”
Tang Yue: “Really? Why?”
Jiang Shulu: “Because Xiao Yue is very special.”
Tang Yue: “You just think I’m stupid. Er-ge and San-ge both say that about me.”
Jiang Shulu smiled: “Then does Xiao Yue want me to believe or not believe?”
Jiang Shulu: “This would be a very big secret.”
Tang Yue: “Shulu-ge isn’t ‘others’.”
On stage, he was introverted and shy, seemingly quiet. When accepting interviews, he talked freely but needed someone watching over him.
But in private, he spoke very directly, occasionally silencing even the glib Yao Lixin.
Such words were like a heart-piercing confession, making Jiang Shulu struggle to breathe for a moment.
But he held back, picking a piece of sparerib Tang Yue liked for him.
Jiang Shulu: “Xiao Yue trusts me too much.”
Tang Yue: “Shulu-ge is worth it.”
He hesitated: “Actually, I can prove to you that I’m an alien.”
Jiang Shulu: “How?”
Tang Yue: “I can give birth!”
Jiang Shulu had just taken a sip of beer and nearly coughed earth-shatteringly.
Jiang Shulu was speechless for a moment.
Tang Yue: “But I can’t do it alone, I need Shulu-ge’s help.”
Jiang Shulu: “I believe it. Don’t tell anyone else about this.”
Tang Yue: “Ge, did you accept it too quickly… don’t need to check?”
Jiang Shulu: “Then go for a check-up after New Year. I remember your previous medical reports had no issues.”
Tang Yue’s face turned red: “Maybe there will be issues only after I… do that… with you.”
Even though they had kissed countless times, saying this openly made Jiang Shulu blush a little.
He coughed: “Let’s talk about that later. We are about to start the final stage.”
Tang Yue: “Do you really believe it?”
If it were anyone else, Jiang Shulu might not believe it, but Tang Yue was too different.
He hummed: “I might have accepted it now, probably need to digest it later.”
Tang Yue: “I don’t know why Sister Yi and I are siblings either, maybe…”
He muttered a whole lot.
Until after the meal, Tang Yue video-called Liu Xichao, looking like he wanted to prove something.
Liu Xichao asked him what was wrong.
Tang Yue glanced at Jiang Shulu cutting fruit: “I want to be completely, thoroughly together with the Captain.”
Liu Xichao had speakerphone on; a curly-haired man happened to walk by.
Hearing this sentence, the man made an “Eh” sound.
Liu Xichao nearly exploded: “You absolutely cannot let him succeed!”
Jiang He over there held a mirror in front of Liu Xichao, letting him see his current distorted face.
Tang Yue: “But the Captain and I like each other. Isn’t this very normal?”
He asked Liu Xichao: “Doesn’t San-ge want to be more intimate with the person you like?”
Liu Xichao: “You’re still young!”
Tang Yue: “I’ll be twenty tomorrow!”
Liu Xichao: “You’re still a kid in my eyes at thirty.”
Tang Yue: “At thirty, my child will be in junior… no, should be primary school.”
Liu Xichao said in shock: “You’re gay and you still want children?!”
Tang Yue uttered an “Uh,” whispering: “What if I can give birth?”
Liu Xichao was speechless, feeling Tang Yue really read too many novels.
How was that possible?
He took a deep breath: “Xiao Yue, I still advise you to wait until after disbandment to… with Jiang Shulu…”
Tang Yue laughed: “I know. But don’t worry San-ge, Captain told me the same thing.”
Liu Xichao: “I don’t want to ask about your relationship progress.”
Tang Yue: “Then can I ask about San-ge’s progress?”
Liu Xichao indignantly left a “No” and hung up.
At night, the city’s public fireworks rumbled. The New Year atmosphere could be felt indoors.
Tang Yue wished he could hang lanterns in every corner.
He wrote the couplets. When posted in the work group, the manager nearly cried from the ugliness, but Jiang Shulu replied it was “artistic font.”
Making the group chat, which was refreshing messages crazily, suddenly freeze.
But they didn’t find it strange. After all, Jiang Shulu’s favoritism towards Tang Yue was traceable and undisguised.
When Away’s disbandment day arrived as scheduled, their names dominated almost all headlines.
When asked about future plans, Tang Yue expressed he would stay at Chengkong as a musician.
But all focus recently was on Jiang Shulu.
Everyone knew the Jiang family’s luck had run out; major projects in the first half of the year were shorted.
As the heir, Jiang Shulu was almost heir in name only, making many feel his halo was gone.
Some even hoped he would continue working in the entertainment industry and not clean up the Jiang family’s mess.
A reporter asked Jiang Shulu: “What are your plans next?”
The venue was silent. Tang Yue, sitting next to Jiang Shulu, held Jiang Shulu’s hand under the table.
Yao Lixin glimpsed it, expression unchanged, but his mind was full of the scene from the last tour where Jiang Shulu was pressed against the makeup table by Tang Yue kissing him.
Thinking: Too cruel. I’m single, yet I have to remember to close the door for them.
Jiang Shulu: “Assume the position of CEO of Terra Group, and then marry Tang Yue.”
Once this sentence came out, the whole venue was in an uproar. Including the synchronized livestream—saying it “exploded” was an understatement; the servers were about to crash.
Terra Group had appeared frequently in financial news recently.
But their President was always elusive. Important occasions were attended by Liang Yi, President of Kunyu, which cooperated with Terra on equal footing.
The two companies seemed to cooperate very happily. Many guessed Terra’s President was Liang Yi’s fiancé, never expecting that man to be Jiang Shulu.
Simultaneously, Liang Yi released a message.
Her high-end products would all be endorsed by her younger brother, Tang Yue.
Shocking everyone even more.

— I’m a badger in a melon field!! Too much to eat! — Yao Lixin is also shocked! — Liu Xichao looks very unhappy, does he know something? — You guys mocked Jiang Shulu for half a year as a fallen prince, what kind of Dragon King returns melodrama is this! — I’m a bumpkin! (I love this trope) — Tang Yue, can’t tell you actually… — Don’t know whether to be angry about dating within the group first or marvel that my ship is real! — Don’t know what to say, retweet for a lottery first.
This press conference caused huge controversy, but the parties involved didn’t stay for the banquet. Instead, he took Tang Yue to his newly bought house.
Completely as Tang Yue had envisioned before.
Tang Yue didn’t even have time to say thank you before being carried to the sofa and kissed.
Later, it was unclear who was anxious. At the critical moment, Tang Yue threw away Jiang Shulu’s condom.
Jiang Shulu: “Why?”
Tang Yue: “I really am an alien.”
At a time like this, he still had to emphasize it.
Jiang Shulu rubbed his fingers, humming: “Indeed not quite the same.”
Tang Yue was burning all over. He whispered: “Then I want to be on top.”
Jiang Shulu: “Why?”
Tang Yue: “That way the probability of us having a child is high.”
Jiang Shulu: “Really?”
Tang Yue: “Really.”
Jiang Shulu: Believed it, but not fully.
Later, Tang Yue painfully lost the right to be on top!
A/N: Previously wrote a Christmas extra planned to release on time, but felt the IF story leading to Xiao Yue and JSL having Xiao Mie seamlessly connects to the original timeline’s second baby better, so moving Christmas to the end. So these follow-ups not released together might be a bit long. Very sorry!!! But still thank you everyone for support (bow).
