In the end, the ring was curiously snatched up by Zhao Yi, then taken by Ye Bingyang who poked his head out to examine it, before Xie Ren knocked him on the head and took it away.

Yu Shi squeezed his eyes shut tightly, controlling the urge to kick it back into the cabin door, and said word by word, “I am a male Omega. 7072, watch your wording.”
“Good evening, Daddy.” 7072 followed good advice naturally, obediently crossing its front paws.
“Hahahahaha, I can’t take it anymore.”
“This dog is so crazy. How can it say such terrifying things with a calm face?”
“I have a whole new level of respect for Instructor Yu. After all, he upgraded it himself; he must like it very much.”
Yu Shi pressed down on its small head. “Child, you’d better go to sleep.”

The crowd laughed continuously, using 7072 as gossip material after meals, mocking it for a whole week.

The eight groups boarded helicopters separately and flew deep into the rainforest.

Xie Ren tapped the rainforest map on the watch face and began deploying.

The other two nodded in agreement, having complete obedience and trust in him.

In the other helicopter, the cabin was silent to the point of weirdness.
Yu Shi wasn’t wearing a headset, so the rebellious conversation spread through the cabin just like that, the sound lingering.
Ye Bingyang wanted to laugh but dared not, pinching his own arm desperately. Zhang Meng scratched his head, smiling foolishly.
Yu Shi ordered in a deep voice, “Find Group D1 first upon landing. Take their heads.”
Xu Bohan was immediately roused. The three of them boosted their morale: “Yes, Captain!”
Two hours later, the helicopter arrived above the rainforest.
The first to jump was Group D1. Xie Ren and Zhao Yi blind-jumped from seven thousand meters high. The rest of the cabin cheered. Han Po cursed “show-off” and jumped down right after with his people.
Xu Bohan’s heart raced, stammering, “S-So high… W-We’re not in a hurry, right? Let’s wait until it’s lower before jumping…”
“They jumped toward the Supply House.” Ye Bingyang looked down. “There are snipers inside. If Xie Ren sets up a sniper, we’ll have zero chance of winning.”
Yu Shi said decisively, “Jump.”
As soon as his voice fell, he opened the hatch and jumped down without hesitation. Ye Bingyang, shocked, immediately followed.
“W-What?” Xu Bohan swallowed, sweat the size of soybeans rolling down.
Zhang Meng grinned at him. “Don’t be afraid, brother. Parachuting rarely has accidents. Usually, a mistake means death, not disability. Relax.”
“…” That’s even fucking scarier.
Xu Bohan was the last to go down. Despite multiple simulations, he was still frantic in practice, nearly getting hung up on the trunk of a towering tree.
By the time he finally landed, the other three had already found a supply point.
There were three types of resource points: Supply Points, Supply Houses, and Fortresses.
Supply Points were the smallest, with very few items—only a pistol and two helmets.
Yu Shi threw the helmets to him and Zhang Meng. “Accelerate search within one thousand meters. Wedge formation forward.”
This area was open ground with few trees around. The advantage was clearly seeing landmarks; the disadvantage was the lack of cover. If they encountered an ambush, they were done for.
Yu Shi took point, Ye Bingyang and Zhang Meng followed behind him, and 7072 was released to bring up the rear with Xu Bohan.
This stretch of road was unusually quiet. Everyone was highly vigilant, observing the surrounding environment.
Ye Bingyang’s gaze followed Yu Shi’s back closely, thinking he indeed didn’t seem like an Omega. Just now, he had blind-jumped from high altitude without blinking—something only NDU’s elite forces could do.

He looked at Yu Shi’s jet-black short hair and glimpsed that section of snow-white nape. Subconsciously, he wanted to look away; after all, staring at an Omega’s gland was extremely impolite behavior.

That wasn’t an ordinary scar.
It was left by a chip implant.
