Chapter 8
As Qi An and the others landed, they saw the pointed top of the castle, and the towers, vaguely visible, were a combination of white and black.
“That’s my castle,” Lin Lai said to Qi An.
“Even without seeing the whole thing, it must be beautiful,” Qi An said.
Lin Lai nodded with a smile.
As they approached the castle, Su Jue couldn’t help but exclaim.
“The person who designed this castle was very thoughtful. It’s dreamy, like it was built for a princess.”
“And there’s a small amusement park here. The design is like they brought Disney here,” Ji Muyulan said.
“My brother designed it himself and then had it built,” Lin Lai said proudly.
At this time, Li Xiang came out, “As you all can see, we owe this castle to Miss Lin’s sponsorship. It allowed our program team to rent it at a very cheap price.”
Ji Muyulan looked at Lin Lai in surprise, “Your brother really spoils you.”
It’s so good to have such a family.

After speaking, Li Xiang left, leaving Qi An and the others to do as they please.
“Let’s move our luggage to our rooms first,” Ning Nan was the first to speak.
Everyone agreed and started carrying their luggage.
Ning Nan felt that things were progressing smoothly. He was gradually gaining control.
“The boys’ rooms are on the first floor, and the girls’ rooms are on the second floor. Call me if you need help,” Ning Nan said, looking at Su Jue and the others.
“Thank you, but we can manage,” Ji Muyulan said.
Zhong Haoli glanced at Ning Nan with a sneer. He’s really good at playing the good guy.
He hadn’t noticed before, but Ning Nan had already taken the lead.
After arriving on the second floor, Su Jue discovered that Qi An’s room was next to hers. The program team’s malicious intent was obvious.
“Queen Ji, my room is next to yours!” Lin Lai said happily.
“Yes, I look forward to working with you.”
Ji Muyulan smiled and patted Lin Lai on the head. She looked in another direction, where Su Jue and Qi An were opening their doors simultaneously.
This program team is quite bold, placing Su Jue and Qi An’s rooms together and separating hers and Lin Lai’s rooms so far. Are they deliberately creating opportunities for Su Jue and Qi An to interact? This is quite interesting.
“Lin Lai, you’re familiar with the place. Give me a tour.”
“Sure.”
Lin Lai had the same idea.
Qi An looked at Su Jue next to her, “I didn’t expect our rooms to be so close. Call me if you need help.”
“You can also ask me if you need anything,” Su Jue said.
“I actually need something right now,” Qi An said, smiling at Su Jue.
“What is it?” Su Jue asked.

Su Jue’s heart beat faster as Qi An approached.

“I’ll go tidy up my room first.”
Su Jue quickly opened the door, dragged her suitcase inside, and closed the door.

Qi An jingled her keys and smiled, “This is fun.”
In her room, Qi An found the most striking feature was the large bed. It could easily fit several people. The wallpaper was a starry sky, right to her taste. If it were pink, she might have to find a way to change rooms.
“This room is very girly,” Ji Muyulan said awkwardly, looking at the pink decorations.
“Queen Ji, don’t you like it? We can switch,” Lin Lai offered.
“No need, we’re only staying for a short time.”
After Qi An finished unpacking, everyone gathered in the hall, where most of the cameras were.
“Everyone finished unpacking? Let’s discuss how to team up,” Ning Nan again took the lead.
“I’ll team up with Lin Lai,” Qi An said, holding a pillow.
“Yes, I’ll team up with Sister Qi,” Lin Lai nodded immediately, seeing Qi An giving her a wink.
Seeing this, Su Jue said, “Muyulan and I will team up.”
“Then Fang Hua and I will team up,” Zhong Haoli said coldly.
Fang Hua had no objections. After all, he was from Zhong Haoli’s company.
Ning Nan was surprised and said with a wry smile, “It seems I’ll be alone.”
If he joined Zhong Haoli’s team, he wouldn’t be in control. He sensed hostility from Zhong Haoli, so he decided not to provoke him.
“Sorry, Brother Nan,” Ji Muyulan smiled.

Qi An saw everyone’s eyes on her and laughed, “Is there something on my face?”
At this time, the program team issued the first task, “Please prepare tonight’s dinner.”
“Miss Lin, you’re familiar with this place. What resources are available?” Ning Nan asked Lin Lai.
“There’s seafood, easy to catch. There’s an orchard and vegetable garden behind the castle, and there are some small animals in the nearby forest. That’s about it,” Lin Lai pondered.
“It seems there’s plenty to eat,” Ning Nan smiled.
“Fang Hua, let’s go find food.”
Zhong Haoli stood up first after hearing this.
“Yes, Brother Hao.”
Fang Hua followed Zhong Haoli like a follower. He actually wanted to be with Ji Muyulan.
Zhong Haoli also didn’t want to team up with Fang Hua, but he had no choice. Those women would definitely reject him. He had to be realistic.

Ning Nan looked at Su Jue and Ji Muyulan, who were the last ones left, “I plan to go to the orchard behind. Are you going?”

She had also thought Qi An would want to team up with her, but it turned out otherwise.
Qi An and Lin Lai went into the nearby forest, followed by the cameramen.

She chose Lin Lai mainly because she was familiar with the area.

“By the way, there’s a freshwater lake inside, you can catch fish.”

In the orchard, Su Jue picked vegetables with a basket.
“Su Yinghou, do you want some apples? I picked a lot,” Ning Nan said, holding a basket of apples.
“I have some vegetables here, do you want some?” Su Jue asked, taking a few apples.
“I’m going to make a vegetable salad, this will be perfect,” Ning Nan smiled.
“I’m planning to make a vegetable salad too. Brother Nan, can you cook?” Su Jue asked curiously.
“Not really, just a few simple dishes. I’m making a vegetable salad because it’s easy,” Ning Nan said.
At this time, Ji Muyulan brought some oranges, “A Jue, should this be enough?”
“Enough, let’s go,” Su Jue said.
“Brother Nan, do you need to pick more? I saw banana trees over there, they’re too high, I can’t reach them. You can go take a look,” Ji Muyulan said.
“Okay, I’ll go take a look later.”
At this time, Qi An arrived at the freshwater lake Lin Lai mentioned.
“Sister Qi, I’ll go get the fishing rod and fish spear.”

“There’s a treehouse nearby with lots of tools.”
“Be careful.”
Qi An searched the area for small animals. Suddenly, she heard the sound of flapping wings. Qi An quickly signaled the cameraman to hide.
A wild chicken appeared, coming to the freshwater lake to drink water.
“Whoosh.”
Qi An immediately threw her Swiss Army knife.
“Cluck, cluck.”
The wild chicken fluttered a few times and fell down motionless.
Qi An excitedly came out, “What luck!”
“I wonder if there are any wild eggs.”
Qi An pulled the knife out of the chicken, picked it up, and started looking for eggs. She actually found a few.
“Let’s have them for breakfast tomorrow.”
The cameramen were amazed at how quickly and efficiently Qi An had killed the wild chicken.
When Lin Lai returned with the fishing rod and fish spear, she saw Qi An processing the chicken.
“Sister Qi, you caught a wild chicken,” Lin Lai exclaimed.
“After you left, this silly chicken came out on its own. This can be used as bait for you,” Qi An pointed to the chicken’s innards.
“Okay, I’ll take care of fishing.”
“But Sister Qi, can you cook? I can’t,” Lin Lai said embarrassedly.
“I can. Do you want braised chicken or stewed chicken?”
“Braised chicken,” Lin Lai licked her lips.
“Okay, we’ll have braised chicken and stewed fish tonight. The program team is quite considerate; they left us rice,” Qi An smiled.
Zhong Haoli and Fang Hua caught several crabs and several fish by the sea.
“It’s really quite easy to catch,” Zhong Haoli laughed.
“Fang Hua, I can’t cook, so I’ll leave this to you.”
“Brother Hao, I don’t know how to cook either,” Fang Hua said awkwardly.
“Then grilling should be easy,” Zhong Haoli frowned.
“Right, Brother Hao, we have cell phones; we can look it up online,” Fang Hua suddenly thought.
“Then leave it to you,” Zhong Haoli patted Fang Hua on the shoulder.
The cameramen felt sorry for Fang Hua. He did most of the work, but he still had to serve this young master, while Zhong Haoli reaped the benefits.
