Chapter 20: Behind the Wall part 1
“Look at you, you coward. Just because Boss Ouyang is tough, does that mean Boss Beicheng is a softie? Don’t worry, Beicheng will have our back!”

The others burst into laughter.

Xiao Ya was getting anxious. This was not the time to be reckless. The little mermaid was too naive.

Back then, the black mermaid had insisted that Xiao Ya stole his Starstone and asked Hu Lao Er to handle it for him.
He never expected that this black mermaid would now… be getting bullied by so many men, with none of his old arrogance remaining.
Hu Lao Er rested one foot on a wooden plank, his eyes narrowed as he smoked a cigarette, a sinister look on his face.
Seeing the black mermaid snarl at him with a fiery temper, Hu Lao Er sneered, slapped him hard, and sent him flying three meters away.
“What a joke.”
He lifted his chin. “They say mermaids are all bad-tempered. I’d like to see how bad-tempered he can be in front of me, Hu Lao Er!”
“Aren’t you guys eating? Hit him harder! Can’t you see he still has the strength to fight back!”
