[Jiang Qing] Loves to play, loves desserts, and loves thrill-seeking activities. His primary motivation for everything is: I think it’s fun, so I’m doing it. He is acutely aware of the little schemes people around him harbor. On the surface, he seems like a flirtatious playboy, but in reality, if he meets someone who is truly sincere, he won’t let their heart down—provided he’s in the mood. He detests people who take liberties with him without his consent; he thinks those people are total idiots. He holds others to very high standards while keeping his own extremely low. I can do this to you because you must agree. You want to do this to me? Get lost. He’s a bit arrogant, looks down on others, and enjoys teasing people indiscriminately. He has excellent taste in fashion and loves challenging different styles. He prioritizes “style over warmth.” Once, during the dead of winter, he tried to go out in thin clothes and was caught by Jiang Yu, who dragged him back and forced him into a coat, scarf, and earmuffs before letting him leave. Jiang Yu even video-called him at set intervals to check if he was still wearing them. He is extremely afraid of pain, but almost no one knows because he’s too proud and hides it well. Every time he gets a tiny scratch or a small cut, he looks unfazed on the outside, but inside, his heart is screaming like a frantic marmot.
[Jiang Limu] Just like his brother, he loves to play. Whatever Jiang Qing likes, he likes. He is his brother’s little shadow. To him, his brother is the best in the world, and everything his brother does is for his own good—except for that 6:00 AM alarm every morning. He can cook; he specifically learned how to bake small cakes for his brother, and his culinary skills have been officially recognized by Jiang Qing. In front of his brother, he’s an obedient puppy. Outside, he acts like a bit of a thuggish poser and has a short fuse; those who know him know he has a bad temper. He has good fashion sense and likes “cool” clothes and gadgets. He prefers wearing a single-strap backpack when going out. Privately, he enjoys reading fanfiction. When he first started, his reaction was: What? How can anyone write this stuff? But the more he read, the more addicted he became. He has even given “Immortal Work” tips to every fanfic he found particularly spicy. If Jiang Qing ever confessed to him, his first reaction would be shock, his second would be ‘Is this allowed?’ and his third would be… Wait. We aren’t even blood-related, what am I worried about? Fourth reaction: (Blushing) I accept.
[Jiang Yu] On the surface, he appears extremely serious and abstinent, but internally, he is an extreme “Jiang Qing-con.” [Jiang Qing breathes.] [Jiang Yu: He’s constantly seducing me.] He acts like a reliable big brother in front of Jiang Qing, but in private, he secretly monitors the surveillance cameras to watch his brother. He has thousands of photos of his younger brother, from childhood to the present, stored in a private album on his phone. Because he hides it so deeply, Jiang Qing has never found out. If Jiang Qing intended for it and asked for “help” (yes… that kind of help) or asked him to cross that line (provided Jiang Qing truly has that intention himself), he would fulfill it. Do you really think an Onii-sama who has been looking at Jiang Qing with suppressed desire for so long could be sane? If possible, he wants to protect Jiang Qing for a lifetime. And he has the power to do so. Toward Jiang Limu, he has the standard attitude of an older brother to a younger brother. As for his attitude toward Su Lin… A bit of guilt, mixed with a bit of vigilance. After all, he just met Su Lin and doesn’t know his true nature yet. He will deal with anyone who tries to get close to or hurt Jiang Qing—including his own biological brother.
[Song Lingchen] A sunny, cheerful big boy. Like Jiang Qing, he loves to play, but since becoming the CEO of his family company, he hasn’t had much time—though he remains a thrill-seeker at heart. He is Jiang Qing’s childhood friend (yes, Osananajimi… hehe…). He’s willing to be wild and play with Jiang Qing; with one word from Qing, he’d cancel all his work to accompany him. However, he knows the consequence would be getting beaten up by Qing and then tied back to his office chair. He likes buying matching items and is always looking for a chance to give them to Jiang Qing to wear. (A different way of asserting dominance?) Jiang Qing knows his little schemes but tacitly allows them. Since experiencing a family upheaval, his heart has developed some different thoughts. He can be a bit obsessive in how he handles certain matters. He suffers from a fear of loss. Jiang Qing has noticed this and does his best to slowly help him vent, hoping to raise him back into that sunny, cheerful puppy he used to be.
[Shen Zhize] Met Jiang Qing at “Yunye.” On the surface, he’s an idle rich heir. His true identity? (That’s a secret for later). He looks like he doesn’t care about anything, but Jiang Qing knows he’s actually a very meticulous and caring person. Aside from Jiang Yu, he is the second person Jiang Qing has met who loves to worry about him. He never makes Jiang Qing feel uneasy. He handles everything perfectly—except for that “four people kneeling” incident. His first life Waterloo. He harbors some dark thoughts internally but acts indifferent on the surface. It feels like this person would be very skilled and have many “tricks” in bed.
[Su Lin] He doesn’t care much about what happens around him and finds everything in life quite boring. Of course, this applied only before he met Jiang Qing. On the surface, he looks like a cold, handsome guy, but in reality, he’s a “belly-black” (scheming) closet-pervert dog. Who knows what he’s constantly brooding over. Also, he plays the bass. He loves getting jealous but never shows it. At critical moments, he will quietly take his revenge. He is very meticulous and thinks a lot. Jiang Qing once teased him, asking if he was thinking so much every day because he was about to achieve enlightenment and become an immortal. Su Lin’s appearance leans toward a delicate shota/younger type. (Don’t forget he’s the same age as Jiang Limu). For someone who harbored ill intentions toward Jiang Qing—his biological Onii-sama—the very first moment he saw him… do you think he could be sane?
[Chi Jiong] Opened “Zero Six” after casually asking his father for some funds and resources. It was actually just a bet he made with friends, but he is extremely prideful. To save face, he ground his way to making “Zero Six” a success. He says, “Oh, I just opened it for fun, didn’t expect it to actually take off,” but in reality, only he knows the hardships behind it. However, it cannot be denied that he truly possesses some talent. Jiang Qing only ended up there because a friend recommended it. Chi Jiong spotted this handsome beauty at a single glance. Since it was Chi Jiong’s first time hitting on someone, he was very unskilled. Jiang Qing misunderstood and thought Chi Jiong had ill intentions from the first look, so he didn’t dare get close to him for a long time. In reality, Chi Jiong just wanted to make friends. [Lin Siyu] He was very precocious compared to his peers when he was young. He’s very calculating. He’s a bit younger than Jiang Qing but older than Jiang Limu. [Lin Siwu] Lin Siyu’s twin brother. A little fool with no schemes. Even Jiang Limu has some calculations; this guy has none at all. He thinks his brother is great. Actually, he can faintly sense his brother’s pressure and is always trying to make him happy, though he seems to mess everything up every time. He shares common interests with Jiang Limu. He saw Jiang Qing when attending an event with his brother. His first impression of him: Very good-looking. He looks like that character I spent several 648 top-ups to roll for. He felt Qing was even more exquisite than a game model. A cute point that perfectly matches his appearance: He is afraid of ghosts and thunder. Yes, both brothers share this fatal weakness. Although the twins look the same, there are subtle expressions and features to tell them apart: for example, Lin Siyu has a mole under his right eye, while Lin Siwu has one under his left eye. Lin Siwu’s expressions are more varied than Lin Siyu’s.
[Xia Yinhan] Older than Jiang Qing. He looks like a handsome guy with no schemes, very hospitable. In reality, a wall in one of the rooms in his house is covered with photos of Jiang Qing. He probably has a lot in common with Jiang Yu. The owner of a late-night snack shop. He noticed Jiang Qing the first time he visited and forcefully dragged his sister to the back so he could rush forward to serve Jiang Qing himself. He looks like a cheerful, familiar “big boy,” but his schemes are hidden very, very deeply. In truth, the moment Jiang Qing brought friends in, he saw them; he hid in the kitchen sulking for a long time before he could adjust his mood and walk out acting like nothing was wrong. (Why else do you think Xia Yinlan appeared first?) He knows the status gap between him and Jiang Qing is too large, so he only dares to think about it in secret. To him, being able to be friends with Jiang Qing is already good enough… as for anything else… he can only dream.
[Xia Yinlan] (Not a love interest). She is a “Big Sister” type with a great figure; she seems to go for the sexy yu-jie (mature) style. She has a straightforward personality; she likes to say what’s on her mind. If she hates something, she shows it; if she likes something, she shows it too. She thinks Jiang Qing is an incredibly handsome little guy—way more handsome than her brother. Actually, she started baking cakes just as a small hobby, but since the day Jiang Qing came to their shop and casually asked if they had cake, she immediately ran to the kitchen to make some. Since Jiang Qing left, she has been researching cake recipes every day.
[Qin Zhiyan] A flashy “flower peacock.” He has a high opinion of himself and thinks he’s the most handsome man in the world. He has wide connections, lots of money, and seems to be free every day. The first thing he does when he wakes up is send a message to harass Jiang Qing. He believes that “constant dripping wears away the stone,” and that one day Jiang Qing will be moved by his daily efforts. He looks like he knows what he’s doing, but he actually doesn’t know a thing. It wasn’t until he met Jiang Qing that he started seriously studying how to woo someone; he’s clueless. A pure, virginal man pretending to be an expert, but Jiang Qing saw through him long ago and teases him every day. He gets riled up easily but cools down just as fast. Jiang Qing uses him like a firework—he likes to set him off when he’s bored.
