Mr. Shen’s Sick Obsession Chapter 28

Chapter 28: How About Coming to the Jiang Family as a Bodyguard?

Liang Sheng lacked the energy and the mood to argue with him. He lowered his eyes, concealing the pain and despair within, and turned to leave with his large bag of medicine. However, his hand was once again forcefully grabbed, and he was pulled into Shen Xingyu’s embrace.

“L-let go of me! What do you want to do?”

Liang Sheng’s voice was trembling, yet he remained stubborn and refused to compromise.

Shen Xingyu didn’t answer, instead picking him up horizontally.

“Ah…”

Liang Sheng let out a cry of surprise. The sudden suspension made him instinctively wrap his arms around the man’s neck, pressing against his collarbone. This posture only deepened the intimacy between them.

His mind was a mess, and his body stiffened uncontrollably. A corner deep in his heart was trembling wildly. He was afraid, yet he instinctively struggled to escape, but the man gave him no chance, carrying him directly to the car.

With a “thud,” the car door was shut tight.

Liang Sheng was buckled into the passenger seat.

Shen Xingyu sat in the driver’s seat, stepped on the gas, and gripped the steering wheel, his expression solemn.

Liang Sheng looked out the window. The roadside scenery whizzed past, and the howling wind in his ears made him shiver.

The car sped smoothly along the highway.

“Where are you taking me?”

Liang Sheng looked worried, a constant sense of unease lingering.

The man ignored him.

Shen Residence, Guest Room.

Jiang Chuzhou smacked his lips a few times and woke from his slumber. He stretched, and before he even opened his eyes, he comfortably nuzzled his face against the object he was hugging.

A cold male voice suddenly sounded above his head:

“Awake?”

Hearing this, Jiang Chuzhou snapped his eyes open and found himself hugging a thigh. He looked up stiffly and saw Qin Lou’s dark, handsome face. With his arms crossed, Qin Lou was staring down at him ominously.

“Ah!”

Jiang Chuzhou shrieked, jumping up as a reflex. He pointed at him with a tremble, stuttering:

“How bold! Why are you here? And sitting on this young master’s bed? G-get off!”

Qin Lou let out a snort, unhurriedly turning his head to look elsewhere, and said with a cold face:

“Who knows who it was that hugged my leg last night, refusing to let go, no matter how much I tried to drive them away.”

Jiang Chuzhou’s face turned iron-blue, but having been dead drunk last night, he couldn’t remember a thing. He felt the man in front of him was sprouting nonsense and scolded him heartlessly:

“What rubbish are you talking about?! Although this young master is both ‘flexible’ and ‘straight,’ there’s no need for you to use such despicable and low-class methods to crawl into my bed, right? If you want money, this young master will reward you!”

Qin Lou didn’t expect him to have any good impression of last night’s events anyway. Since he had already gotten rid of the nuisance, he didn’t want to explain further. After disgustingly using a tissue to wipe away the drool Jiang Chuzhou had left on his pants, he stood up to leave.

The other’s indifferent attitude was like a flame that instantly ignited the latent desire for conquest in Jiang Chuzhou’s heart.

In this place, who didn’t have to respectfully call him Young Master Jiang? This bodyguard was truly too impolite! Not only did he crawl into his bed, but he also twisted the facts to play hard to get!

Of all the men and women who had ever tried to crawl into his bed, this one was the most “matter-of-fact” about it!

“Stop right there for this young master!”

Jiang Chuzhou chased after him, unwilling to let it go.

Qin Lou remained cold. He only served the Shen family, who had saved him. As for the young master of the Jiang family who was prattling on with nonsense, he had zero interest and no intention of trying to please him.

“What do you mean? Are you deaf to my words?! There’s no one who can ignore this young master!”

Seeing that he was being ignored, Jiang Chuzhou became even more energized, stepping forward to grab his collar: “I’m asking you one more time, didn’t you hear me tell you to stop?! What are you acting all high and mighty for!”

Qin Lou finally turned around. There was no emotional fluctuation on his icy face, but a cold light emanated from his deep eyes as he spat out two words: “Let go.”

“I won’t!”

Jiang Chuzhou turned his head away arrogantly, his chin slightly raised, but his fingers were tightly gripping the fabric at the man’s shoulder:

“Unless you get down on your knees and beg me to let go, and admit that you just wanted to crawl into my bed!”

“Unreasonable.”

Qin Lou remained unmoved and cold, but a hint of annoyance appeared between his brows. With a slight exert of force, he shrugged off the clinging Jiang Chuzhou, then turned out of the room and strode toward the corridor.

“So many people have tried to flatter this young master without success, and you actually dare to treat me like this? You’ve gone too far!”

Jiang Chuzhou ruffled his messy, silver-gray hair. The more he thought about it, the angrier he became. He chased after him, jogging to keep up with the man.

Among bodyguards, Qin Lou had the most outstanding physique and appearance—standard broad shoulders and a narrow waist, sharp features, clear eyes, and a steady temperament.

Although Jiang Chuzhou was still angry, he was deeply attracted to the man in front of him. His own bodyguards were as big as oxen and as ugly as sins; it was rare to see someone as handsome as Qin Lou. As a supreme “visualist,” the more he looked, the more he felt Qin Lou suited his aesthetic.

He restrained his temper, put on a smiling face, and directly tried to poach him:

“Tell you what, seeing as we have a ‘connection,’ how about you come to the Jiang family as a bodyguard? Whatever salary Shen Xingyu gives you, my Jiang family will give you double—no, triple! What do you think? Tempting, right?”

Qin Lou turned and saw his sparkling eyes full of expectation, along with three fingers held up toward him.

Unfortunately, he had no desire to serve this nuisance, especially considering how Jiang Chuzhou had hugged, kissed, and touched him while drunk last night. He felt a wave of nausea and a surge of nameless anger.

He refused without a thought: “No need, thank you.”

Of course, Jiang Chuzhou wouldn’t give up so easily, persistently offering various benefits:

“Don’t be so quick to refuse! There are plenty of perks to being a bodyguard for our Jiang family! Not only high pay and year-end bonuses, but sometimes when this young master is happy, I’ll reward you with tens or even hundreds of thousands. You can take five days off every month, and during holidays, the Jiang family will send you on trips with all expenses paid. Not to mention the insurance and housing fund. What do you think? Once this chance is gone, you won’t find another! What are you still hesitating for? Hurry and agree!”

In Qin Lou’s ears, this long-winded nonsense sounded like a buzzing mosquito. He really wanted to swat it dead, but his professional ethics held him back.

He looked at Jiang Chuzhou’s punchable, smiling face and suddenly shifted his gaze, looking at the open collar of his shirt. He said without a change in expression, “Your shirt isn’t buttoned correctly.”

Jiang Chuzhou froze, looking down at his exposed chest. For some reason, being glanced at like that by the man made even the usually thick-skinned him feel strangely embarrassed. He hurriedly fastened the buttons.

“I’m talking serious business with you! Why are you staring at someone’s chest? And you say you’re not interested in this young master!”

He glared, his huffy appearance completely clashing with his usual profligate personality—it was strangely hilarious. Qin Lou’s mouth twitched stiffly, and he refused once more with clarity: “No need. Young Master Jiang should give up on that idea!”

Hearing this, Jiang Chuzhou’s expression instantly changed. He said unhappily, “Why? Is it because you think the salary I’m offering is too low? How much do you want? I’ll double it for you!”

Qin Lou said plainly: “Young Master Jiang, you misunderstand. I don’t lack money, nor am I interested in the salary and benefits you’re offering. President Shen and the Chairman have been kind to me; I will not leave the Shen family.”

After saying that, he quickened his pace to leave the corridor, wanting no more of this young master’s pestering.

He had a fiery nature and loathed—and feared—the unreasonable demands of such profligates most of all. Spending another second with Jiang Chuzhou felt like a waste of time.

His diligent invitation having been coldly refused, Jiang Chuzhou flew into a rage, shouting at the man’s back: “Stop right there! Who said you could leave? You bastard, get back here!!”

The man’s footsteps paused slightly, but he didn’t look back, only saying coldly: “Does Young Master Jiang have any further orders?”

Jiang Chuzhou snorted, his handsome, rakish face darkening. He gnashed his teeth and said, “Don’t forget, you’re just a bodyguard. Do you think you’re so great? Don’t be too arrogant!”

But Qin Lou ignored his threat and reminded him: “Young Master Jiang should return home as soon as possible. If Chairman Jiang comes looking for you later today, it won’t be as ‘dignified’ as you leaving on your own.”

His tone was flat, but each word struck a nerve, making Jiang Chuzhou’s face turn from green to white.

How did the other party know his father would come to drag him home?

To avoid his father forcing him back to inherit the company, he had hidden at Old Master Shen’s place these past few days. He had finally enjoyed a few days of peace; could Shen Xingyu have revealed his location to that old fogey Jiang Tianyang?!

“Damn! Is he sick?!”

Jiang Chuzhou cursed several times on the spot.

He was the only child of the Jiang family. From childhood to adulthood, he had lived in luxury and had never suffered such a grievance. Being threatened by this bodyguard made him even more furious, wishing he could beat the man up right then and there.

“I kindly invited you to be a bodyguard for the Jiang family out of respect, yet you don’t know what’s good for you! If it weren’t for your looks, who would care about you! Crawling into my bed so righteously! It infuriates me! Qin Lou, you just wait! I’ll make you call me ‘Master’ one day!”

Jiang Chuzhou prattled on with curses, kicking and stomping against the railing. Especially when he thought of how he had lowered himself to persuade him nicely, only to be met with the man’s cold refusal, he felt even more agitated.

“Huff, huff… damn, I’m so angry.”

While calming his chest, he suddenly remembered Qin Lou’s warning and his expression instantly changed.

No, he had worked hard to escape; if he was caught by his old man, he’d probably never see the light of day again.

Jiang Chuzhou stopped cursing and hurriedly ran back to his room to pack his things, preparing to make a run for it. He didn’t believe that no matter where he hid, Jiang Tianyang would be able to find him!

What “bankrupt company”? What “no successor”? He didn’t care at all; he only wanted freedom!

That strict old fogey Jiang Tianyang could go far away! If it weren’t for that father’s constant pressure, he wouldn’t have lost his mother, nor would he have become the person he was today!
