Mr. Shen’s Sick Obsession Chapter 32

Chapter 32: So Easily Injured?

Even though Shen Xingyu had coughed up most of the seawater, his breathing remained faint. His face was deathly pale, and his breath could catch at any moment—he needed artificial respiration!

Liang Sheng stared at his thin lips and pursed his own. His fair face instantly flushed a deep crimson.

He wasn’t some young boy experiencing his first stirrings of love, yet he always felt shy whenever he shared an intimate moment with his husband.

Don’t overthink it. I only want to save Shen Xingyu.

Liang Sheng took a deep breath, steadied his nerves, and slowly leaned down. His hair had grown a bit long; as he approached the man, it lightly brushed against the other’s cheek.

He puckered his lips slightly and kissed Shen Xingyu’s lips, breathing his own warmth and urgent breath into the man’s mouth. With every exhalation, he poured in the entirety of his worry and love for his husband.

Again and again, Liang Sheng worked until he was utterly exhausted, yet he didn’t dare stop for even a second. His eyes were fixed on Shen Xingyu’s face, praying to God over and over, hoping for even the slightest sign of him waking.

Fine beads of sweat broke out on his forehead, sliding down his cheeks along with his tears to drip onto Shen Xingyu’s face. The man’s brow suddenly twitched minutely, but quickly returned to stillness.

Liang Sheng was too focused on the artificial respiration to notice. After exhaling forcefully for so long, Liang Sheng began to suffer from a lack of oxygen; a wave of dizziness washed over his vision.

He shook his head, forcing himself to remain conscious. The evening breeze was somewhat chilly, and being soaking wet, he let out several sneezes in a row.

On the other side, because Qin Lou had been temporarily called away by Old Master Shen, he had Su Nian drive over to pick them up.

When Su Nian reached the seaside, he saw Shen Xingyu lying motionless on the beach by the light of the streetlamps.

“President Shen…”

Su Nian hopped out of the car anxiously, only to catch the scene of Liang Sheng kneeling on the ground giving Shen Xingyu artificial respiration.

His footsteps faltered. His eyes glared fixedly at Liang Sheng repeatedly kissing his beloved man. Jealousy and anger instantly grew wild like tangled vines.

What was Liang Sheng doing to President Shen?!

The more Su Nian thought about it, the more unwilling he became. He was prepared to storm over and push Liang Sheng away, but in the next second, he saw Liang Sheng suddenly collapse from oxygen deprivation.

The opportunity had come!

Filled with both shock and joy, Su Nian hurriedly ran over and pushed away the motionless Liang Sheng, who was slumped over the man. He then knelt beside Shen Xingyu, gently shaking his shoulders, his voice sounding with a sob as he cried:

“President Shen! Wake up! Don’t scare me! Why are you soaking wet?! Did that b*tch push you into the sea? Don’t be afraid! I’ll give you artificial respiration! President Shen, hold on!”

The noise in his ear was simply too grating. Shen Xingyu was forced awake from his coma. He slowly opened his eyes to see Su Nian’s face inches away, with the other’s lips puckered as he moved closer!

Shen Xingyu’s expression filled with alarm. He forcefully pushed Su Nian away, then hurriedly sat up, saying sharply:

“What do you think you’re doing?!”

Su Nian’s figure was naturally slender; under such a push, he slumped on the ground like a flower with a broken stem. His eyes quickly turned red. Clamping his legs together, he looked at the man piteously and sobbed:

“President Shen… why… why did you push me? I saw that you seemed to have drowned. I just finished pressing the water out of you and wanted… wanted to give you artificial respiration to save you…”

Shen Xingyu froze, only then realizing that much of the suffocating feeling from the drowning had vanished.

Had Su Nian saved him?

Shen Xingyu slowly stood up, then leaned down to help the person on the ground up, a hint of apology in his eyes:

“I’m sorry, Nian-nian, I…”

Before he could finish, he saw Liang Sheng, who had been deliberately blocked behind Su Nian, currently lying unconscious.

“Liang Sheng?!”

His heart sank. Releasing Su Nian’s hand, he hurriedly knelt down and shook Liang Sheng’s shoulder:

“Liang Sheng! Wake up! Can you hear me?!”

But no matter how he called, Liang Sheng had no reaction. His eyes remained tightly shut, and his lips showed a faint shade of purple.

That was a sign of hypoxia.

Moreover, his expression was one of great pain. His brows were knit together, and his face was covered in tear stains, looking as if he had just been crying.

Su Nian pretended to be shocked, covering his mouth: “Oh my! Why is the Young Mistress here?! He looks to be in a very bad way. I’ll call an ambulance right now!”

After saying that, he hypocritically pulled out his phone, but he never actually dialed 120. It was clear he wanted to watch Liang Sheng take his last breath.

“It’s too late.”

Shen Xingyu couldn’t care about anything else. He took a deep breath, leaned down, and without hesitation, covered his little wife’s lips, slowly breathing air into his mouth.

In his dazed state, a surge of warmth rushed in. Liang Sheng felt his suffocating chest suddenly become much more comfortable.

Who is it…

His eyelids were too heavy to lift. He could only see a hazy figure through a tiny slit, but no matter how hard he tried, he couldn’t see clearly.

Seeing Shen Xingyu actually take the initiative to give Liang Sheng artificial respiration, Su Nian gnashed his teeth in fury. Unwilling to let it go, he grabbed the man’s arm, attempting to stop him:

“President Shen, this won’t do. You just woke up! Your strength is limited; don’t waste your energy! I’ve already called the ambulance; they’ll be here soon!”

Shen Xingyu ignored him and continued breathing for Liang Sheng.

The moment his lips touched his little wife’s, that softness and slight chill felt incredibly familiar.

He seemed to have felt it while he was unconscious as well.

Liang Sheng, was it you? Was it you who carried me out of the sea and gave me artificial respiration to save me?

Shen Xingyu couldn’t be sure. He stared intently at Liang Sheng’s pale little face, but he couldn’t help but think of the image of Liang Sheng betraying him. Instantly, he felt his suspicion was merely a dream from his coma.

Yes, if he died in the sea, Liang Sheng could be with someone else openly.

How could he possibly save him?

The more Shen Xingyu thought, the more agitated he became, and he stopped his movements.

He stood up, pulled his clothes tight, and wanted to turn and leave in his anger, leaving Liang Sheng directly on the beach.

But the night was too dark. The sound of the waves was deafening nearby, and the seawater surged relentlessly, constantly washing up onto the sand.

Liang Sheng could be washed away at any moment.

Su Nian kept praying in his heart for Shen Xingyu to ignore Liang Sheng and let him fend for himself here.

Unfortunately, things did not go as he wished. Shen Xingyu was a man of unpredictable moods. One second he wanted to abandon his little wife, yet the next, he picked him up horizontally and strode quickly toward the car.

Liang Sheng was soaking wet. Through the thin clothing, he could clearly feel Liang Sheng’s icy body. An unprecedented worry, one he hadn’t even noticed himself, appeared on his face.

Su Nian was almost driven mad by jealousy, staring with a malicious gaze at Liang Sheng in the man’s arms.

He was almost unable to grasp Shen Xingyu’s thoughts anymore!

Didn’t the other man loathe Liang Sheng?

Looking like this now, it seemed he still cared!

The man’s tall back looked cold and sharp in the moonlight. His wet shirt clung to his solid, broad back, vaguely revealing the tight muscle texture beneath.

He dreamed of being held and hugged by this man, wishing he could rub himself into the man’s bones and blood. Yet the extravagant hope he thought about day and night was easily achieved by Liang Sheng—how could it not invite jealousy?!

The more Su Nian thought, the more unwilling he became. He ran up, and his poisonous expression instantly transformed into a sweet, charming smile as he approached Shen Xingyu. He very diligently reached out his hand: “President Shen, let me carry the Young Mistress! Don’t tire yourself out!”

“No need.”

Shen Xingyu refused flatly, avoiding the hand that wanted to touch Liang Sheng.

Su Nian’s gaze darkened, but the smile on his face didn’t fade as he persisted: “It’s no trouble! I have plenty of strength! I can carry the Young Mistress! President Shen, don’t worry!”

“I said, no need.”

Shen Xingyu’s tone held a bit more impatience.

Su Nian froze. He hadn’t expected the other party would treat him so heartlessly because of Liang Sheng.

Seeing the young man’s eyes fill with aggrieved tears, Shen Xingyu realized his tone just now had been a bit heavy.

He immediately softened his mood and said gently: “Nian-nian, go drive the car over, alright?”

“Mm…”

Su Nian hummed a nod, looking like a frightened little white flower on the verge of tears.

He obediently went to drive, but the moment he turned around, his weak appearance turned malicious and terrifying.

The oblivious Shen Xingyu felt a sense of pity for him, but it was only pity because of his eyes.

He gently placed Liang Sheng in the back seat and sat beside him. He clearly wanted to reach out and pull his little wife into his arms, but because he was still brooding and couldn’t lower his pride, he casually leaned Liang Sheng against the car window. However, his eyes still periodically checked on Liang Sheng’s condition.

Su Nian drove in the front.

He had always been the one in the passenger seat enjoying the man’s affection; now, he was reduced to a driver!

He looked at Shen Xingyu sitting next to Liang Sheng in the rearview mirror. The more he looked, the more it bothered him.

He let out a cold snort and deliberately drove the car into a small pothole, making the vehicle jolt violently twice.

Because Liang Sheng was leaning too close to the window, the sudden jolt caused his head to strike the glass heavily.

With a “thud,” the unconscious Liang Sheng felt something flow down from his temple—sticky, warm, and with a faint metallic scent.

He knit his delicate brows in pain.

Shen Xingyu turned and saw his little wife with blood streaming from his head. His face filled with alarm and a visible panic.

He hurriedly pulled out several tissues to cover Liang Sheng’s bleeding forehead, then scolded Su Nian in the front: “How are you driving?!”

Su Nian shivered and turned his head back, tears swirling in his eyes as he apologized delicately:

“P-President Shen, I’m sorry… I just accidentally drove over a pothole. You know, my driving skills have always been poor; usually, I’m not the one driving…”

He looked very aggrieved, almost on the verge of crying.

Shen Xingyu couldn’t bring himself to continue scolding him. After all, it was usually Qin Lou who drove, or occasionally himself. Su Nian had been pampered by him; it was only natural that he couldn’t drive well.

“It’s fine. Just be careful.”

He soothed him in a soft voice, while performing a simple stop to Liang Sheng’s bleeding.

He looked at Liang Sheng, whose face was as white as paper, and couldn’t help but wonder. It was just a small jolt, yet he was bleeding from the impact. Was Liang Sheng’s skin really that delicate? Was he so easily injured?

How could Shen Xingyu know that the temple Liang Sheng hit had been accidentally cut by a rock while saving him in the sea? It had just been hidden by his hair, so he hadn’t seen it.

With that impact just now, the unhealed wound had torn open again, which was why it was bleeding.

Su Nian almost couldn’t suppress the upward curve of his lips. Who told Liang Sheng to snatch his man? This bleeding was just a small punishment; next time, he wouldn’t be so lucky!

It was a pity the impact just now hadn’t killed Liang Sheng…

He thought with regret in his heart.
