Chapter 12: Your Pheromones Are Too Tempting
On the way back, Su Tang finally understood how Ye Chiyu had managed to get directly into his apartment and drag him off to the Civil Affairs Bureau.
“Isn’t this too much of a coincidence?”
The amount of information he’d just received from Mr. Ye was overwhelming. Su Tang’s eyes widened in shock as he looked at the Alpha in the driver’s seat, finding it all hard to process.
How could such a bizarre coincidence exist in the world? If he hadn’t met Ye Chiyu before and had nothing of value for him to scheme for, Su Tang would have started to suspect he’d been tricked by this Alpha.
Before Su Bing successfully established her own combat training studio, she had been betrayed by a partner. That Alpha had run off with the start-up capital, leaving a complete mess for the inexperienced Su Bing, who was already struggling on the brink of bankruptcy.
During that time, Su Bing had run herself ragged trying to find funding for the studio. She lost a lot of weight and then fell seriously ill.
Su Tang couldn’t do much to help besides worry. After two agonizing months, they still hadn’t secured any suitable investment.
Finally, at their wit’s end and about to give up, an investment from a venture capital firm called Qingyu saved the precarious studio. It gave Su Bing a chance to breathe, and with that funding, she successfully grew her studio.
Now, her company, Taber, was the best combat training company in S City.
Who would have known that Qingyu happened to be one of Ye Chiyu’s businesses, and that the investment had been made on his direct orders after he personally reviewed Su Bing’s business plan.
At six in the morning, Ye Chiyu had shown up at the Su family’s doorstep with a hefty meeting gift and called Su Bing.
Woken from her sleep by a call from an unknown number, Su Bing learned that the person on the other end was the Alpha who had marked her brother. She let him in.
During their quiet conversation in the study, Ye Chiyu subtly brought up the investment in Taber from all those years ago. Upon learning this, Su Bing’s attitude instantly softened.
The two of them talked for over an hour, completely unbeknownst to Su Tang. In the end, Su Bing handed her blissfully unaware, sleeping brother over without a second thought.
“Mr. Ye, what on earth did you say to my sister? She’s usually not this easy to talk to.”
Ye Chiyu paused for a moment. His captivating eyes gazed deeply at Su Tang. Just as he was about to speak, a notification dinged. It was a message from Su Bing. Su Tang quickly held up a hand. “Mr. Ye, my sister texted me. Let me see first!”
[Little Green Tea, I’m okay with you being with that Alpha. Since you’re already married, hurry up and pack your things and move out to live with your man. Don’t get in the way of your big sister bringing men home for the night!]
Su Tang clutched his phone, wanting to cry but having no tears. To be abandoned so decisively by his own sister… He pouted his pink lips in dissatisfaction.
Seeing the change in Su Tang’s expression, his pitiful look made one want to pull him into a tight embrace and kiss him until he was breathless.
Suppressing the urge, Ye Chiyu raised an eyebrow. “Little Su Tang, what’s wrong?”
“N-nothing,” I can’t possibly tell him my sister is kicking me out to live with you, can I? Su Tang quickly closed WeChat, his words stumbling. “My sister just told me she agrees to our marriage.”
He stared at the Alpha’s face as he spoke, feeling a little guilty.
Thankfully, Ye Chiyu just nodded, his expression unreadable. He then told him what he and Su Bing had discussed, and Su Tang secretly breathed a sigh of relief.
Su Bing had helpfully registered Ye Chiyu’s car with the community’s property management as a family vehicle. This time, the black McLaren with several eights in its license plate number drove smoothly into the complex and parked downstairs from Su Tang’s apartment.
After parking, Ye Chiyu walked around to open the door for Su Tang. Before Su Tang could react, he leaned in to unbuckle the seatbelt, which seemed to be stuck.
The scent of top-tier pheromones wafted naturally at a distance Su Tang could just smell. Ye Chiyu was pleased to see his little Omega shrink into a small ball, his face blushing.
“Mr. Ye, your pheromones…”
Rein them in, they’re too tempting!
That’s what Su Tang had wanted to say. But his body, having already been marked by the Alpha in front of him, reacted honestly, heating up. Su Tang felt his body go soft, craving more of the Alpha’s pheromones. His fair hand instinctively tightened its grip on the Alpha’s blue silk tie.
“Smells good?”
Without giving Su Tang time to react, Ye Chiyu scooped the small figure up from the seat, holding him tightly in his arms. He walked quickly towards the elevator, carrying him.
The little one’s foot injury hadn’t had time to heal, and he’d been dragged all over the place for most of the day. Su Tang hadn’t said anything, but Ye Chiyu could tell his little Omega was exhausted.
There were other people in the elevator. Seeing the scene, they politely averted their gaze. Ye Chiyu held the little Omega with an unchanged expression, controlling his pheromones to release just a tiny amount for him.
Once they were out of the elevator and inside the apartment, the Alpha’s top-tier whiskey-scented pheromones were released without restraint. The rich, alcoholic aroma in the air almost made Su Tang drunk in the Alpha’s arms.
The gland on the back of his neck burned unbearably. Su Tang couldn’t take it anymore. His beautiful, moist eyes stared intently at the still-composed Alpha. The scent of green tea gradually intertwined with the Alpha’s pheromones.
“Mmm… Mr. Ye…” Under the pull of the Alpha’s pheromones, he felt the faint signs of going into heat again.
The little Omega, with a newfound burst of courage, began to cling to Ye Chiyu like a koala, his low pants betraying his impatient desire.
Ye Chiyu was also losing control. He began to regret trying to use his pheromones to tempt the little one into taking the initiative.
Forcing himself to suppress the urge to devour Su Tang whole, he gently placed him on the soft bed and covered him with a blanket. He sat on the edge of the bed, his large hand soothingly stroking the little Omega’s flushed cheek while releasing a large amount of calming pheromones.
Under the comfort of the pheromones, the little Omega gradually calmed down. Mr. Ye’s hand was very warm. His body, which had almost gone into heat again, relaxed, and a wave of irresistible fatigue washed over him. He stubbornly fought against his heavy eyelids.
“Shh, just a little longer. Get some sleep first.”
The Alpha’s voice was also warm. A warmth spread through Su Tang’s heart, and he finally gave up resisting, falling into a deep sleep amidst the Alpha’s pheromones.
Ye Chiyu stared at Su Tang’s sleeping face for a long while. After confirming the little one was sound asleep, he leaned down and placed a light kiss on the tip of the Omega’s nose.
Sweet dreams, my little Su Tang.
