MY OMEGA IS A SWEET LITTLE BEAN CHAPTER 27

Chapter 027: Eating the Peach

“Tangtang…”

Ye Chiyu’s voice was hoarse, unable to hide his exhaustion, yet the surging, tender love within it was impossible to conceal.

The entire city had fallen into a silent slumber. Outside the window, a cool breeze rose; the ward’s curtains danced with the night wind, and quietude slept alongside the darkness.

The way the Alpha looked at the Omega was agonizingly intimate, making it impossible for Su Tang to look away.

“Mr. Ye…”

Although he remembered nothing after fainting, the moment he opened his eyes and saw his Alpha guarding his bedside, eyes laced with red veins, he knew he had terrified Mr. Ye.

Filled with guilt and heartache, all he could do was act spoiled and cling to his Alpha, hoping to make his Mr. Ye feel better.

He wanted his actions to tell Mr. Ye that he was awake, that he was okay.

When the Alpha didn’t kiss him, Su Tang instantly deflated like a popped balloon, his head drooping as a mist of tears clouded his eyes.

“Mr. Ye, I’m sorry…”

Ye Chiyu shook his head, carefully cupping Su Tang’s dejected little face. “Tangtang, you don’t need to say sorry. You got sick; it’s not your fault.”

“I’m the one who should say sorry. I should have come back earlier. My Tangtang suffered for so long… it breaks my heart just thinking about it.”

Su Tang pouted. imagining the usually calm and composed Mr. Ye panicking and helpless at seeing him so gravely ill—looking as if he might die at any moment—made his nose tingle.

“Mr. Ye, it’s not your fault. I’m the one who made you worry.”

Tears began to well up in those beautiful, lively eyes, and his chubby cheeks were still undeniably pale. Seeing this made Ye Chiyu’s heart tremble.

“I won’t allow you to say it’s your fault, and I won’t allow you to blame yourself.”

Seeing Mr. Ye blaming himself again, Su Tang puffed up his cheeks in anger, tears brimming in his eyes as if he were about to cry.

“If you hadn’t saved me, I might be gone by now! What did you do wrong? You’ve saved my life twice already, why are you blaming yourself…”

His Mr. Ye is such a big dummy…!

Ye Chiyu was slightly stunned. For the first time in his life, he felt he deserved it—deserved to be defeated by this little Omega in front of him. How else could the little guy have him so wrapped around his finger with just a sentence?

“Mm, Tangtang is right.”

He couldn’t bear to see the little guy sad, angry, or heartbroken over him.

He only wanted to give his Tangtang the best, to spoil him into a carefree, happy little prince, to give him the most beautiful rose on this planet.

Thus, Ye Chiyu’s soft kiss and bone-deep tenderness landed on Su Tang together, the Alpha’s intense pheromones wrapping around his little Omega.

The Alpha held his Omega, eyes closed, panting lightly, kissing him deeply.

A slight lack of oxygen caused Su Tang’s consciousness to lapse for a moment. He felt as if he had become a wind chime hanging on a windowsill, struck by a stray breeze, emitting a crisp chiming sound.

Tonight, the Alpha didn’t just give him a fleeting taste of pleasure. He was like a peach in midsummer, ripened to peak sweetness and juiciness, plucked from the tree by the Alpha. With a gentle squeeze of fingers, his sweet juice and flesh could be savored.

(…)

Su Tang didn’t know how he eventually fell asleep. His mind only retained the image of a glistening bead of sweat teetering on his Alpha’s nose, the overwhelmingly enticing pheromones, and those smiling eyes.

Dawn broke.

Su Tang hadn’t woken up yet. The gland that the Alpha had injected pheromones into last night was slightly red and swollen. His snow-white body now bore marks left by the Alpha, who had lost control in the heat of passion. Ye Chiyu held him and slept in the hospital bed the entire night.

Fortunately, the VIP ward bed wasn’t too small. The 193cm Alpha holding the 179cm Su Tang didn’t feel too crowded.

Ye Chiyu was already awake when the nurse came to draw blood. Seeing that there was still no color in the little guy’s face, he didn’t have the heart to wake him.

Luckily, the little guy slept deeply. When the nurse drew blood, he only grunted in dissatisfaction a couple of times but didn’t wake up, which relieved Ye Chiyu.

Su Tang slept until the sun was practically scorching his butt before waking up. His Mr. Ye carried him directly to wash up, providing care so meticulous it bordered on excessive—he almost helped him hold his little treasure to pee.

Thinking of this, Su Tang couldn’t control his blushing and racing heart. It really was a close call; when Mr. Ye was about to lend a hand, Su Tang had slapped it away.

Even if they were married, that was just too shameful.

Lying on the hospital bed, Su Tang was bored to death. Still hooked up to an IV, he couldn’t run around. A bowl of fresh strawberries sat by his hand, while the Alpha sat on the sofa beside the bed, handling business matters on his laptop.

Upon hearing he was sick, Ning Yang scolded Su Tang angrily, then decisively skipped work to bring Su Tang’s favorite matcha cake to the hospital.

Standing at the door of the VIP ward with the cake, Ning Yang sighed inwardly: Damn, is this the treatment rich people get?

The ward looked even more upscale than the five-star hotels outside. The decor was classy, and as soon as he stepped out of the elevator, nurses were serving tea and snacks. The service was impeccable.

Ning Yang knocked on the door, and a pleasant voice said, “Come in.”

“Hello, you must be our Su Tang’s husband!”

Ning Yang looked with interest at the tall Alpha coming to greet him and gave Ye Chiyu a generous smile.

“It seems Tangtang has already told you about us,” Ye Chiyu smiled, extending a hand to Ning Yang, his expression reasonably mild. “Ye Chiyu, Su Tang’s husband.”

“Hi, I’m Ning Yang, Su Tang’s best buddy.”

After introductions, Ye Chiyu took the cake Ning Yang brought for Su Tang and set it aside, then consciously returned to working silently.

Ning Yang and Su Tang chatted enthusiastically on the side, moving from fake pleasantries to wildly exaggerating stories.

Ye Chiyu watched his little Omega excitedly embellishing his hospitalization experience with vivid gestures. He lowered his head, quietly curving his lips into a smile.

Around mealtime, Ye Chiyu called Qi Yuan to deliver some light, digestible food and to hire a trustworthy private doctor.

Qi Yuan arrived at the hospital, carrying food containers in his left hand and a thick stack of resumes for private doctors in his right.

Entering the ward and seeing the Madam’s innocent little face, he felt deeply emotional.

He, a special assistant capable of handling both boardrooms and construction sites, had now been reduced to a nanny for his CEO’s wife.

Ning Yang stepped out to take a call, and Su Tang, under Ye Chiyu’s watchful gaze, reluctantly stuffed the bland medicinal meal into his mouth.

Suddenly, the ward door was pushed open.

“Sister-in-law~~~”
