Chapter 032: So Many People Calling You Wife

After coming out of the bathroom, Su Tang was carried by Ye Chiyu the entire time. His skin, flushed pink from the hot water, was particularly red on his face as he lay drowsily in the Alpha’s arms.

Time flew to 7:30. Su Tang tried hard to shake his head to wake himself up, but the Alpha’s kisses followed one after another, leaving him no chance to catch his breath.

Why does Mr. Ye like kissing me so much…

Su Tang’s fuzzy little brain pondered for a while, losing count of how many times Mr. Ye had kissed him today.

Killing Snow was a costume drama set in a Xianxia background. Leaving the plot aside, this genre relied heavily on post-production. It had to create an ethereal, fairyland atmosphere without appearing abrupt or fake so the audience could feel immersed rather than pulled out of the experience.

The first episode opened with a majestic panoramic view of the Heaven, Human, and Demon realms. Accompanied by the narration, the camera panned directly to Lingxiao Peak, where the male lead, Jiang Luoxue, cultivated.

Su Tang stared at the big screen, pointing excitedly at the group of inner sect disciples wearing uniform white robes practicing swordsmanship under Jiang Luoxue’s lead.

“Mr. Ye, look! I’m over there!!”

Ye Chiyu spotted his little Su Tang among the dozen or so people at a glance. Even though everyone’s clothes and hairstyles were identical, Ye Chiyu felt that when Su Tang wore them, his Omega simply glowed.

Actually, it wasn’t just Ye Chiyu. As the camera zoomed in to the conversation between Jiang Luoxue and his junior brothers, the moment Su Tang’s close-up appeared, a group of people immediately commented on the bullet screen about how good-looking this junior brother was. Some even directly called Jiang Qingzhi (Su Tang’s character) “Wife.”

Su Tang burrowed into Ye Chiyu’s arms shyly, his face flushed red. This was the first time so many people had praised his looks, and calling him “Wife” right off the bat was just too…!

Ye Chiyu looked at the barrage of comments calling Jiang Qingzhi “Wife,” his expression slightly darkening. But when he looked down and saw the delight filling his little partner’s eyes, he felt relieved again.

Knowing that the character was liked as soon as he appeared, his little partner must be very happy in his heart.

Although Su Tang’s total screen time might have been less than three minutes, the plot and editing of Killing Snow were excellent. Unknowingly, the two of them became immersed in the story. It was Ye Chiyu’s first time formally watching a drama. Besides the novelty of the experience, the more important thing was that it allowed him to see another side of his little Su Tang.

It had to be said that Su Tang’s ancient costume appearance in Killing Snow was brilliant. There was a scene where Jiang Qingzhi, dressed in a pale green feather-gauze robe and holding a skewer of candied hawthorn, turned back amidst the waning lights to wave at his senior brothers. Even Ye Chiyu was dazed by Jiang Qingzhi’s smile.

And although Su Tang didn’t have many scenes, his acting was visibly good. Considering Su Tang was only a sophomore who had been studying performance for less than two years, Ye Chiyu felt his Su Tang was indeed naturally gifted in acting.

Su Tang crawled out of the Alpha’s arms and sat on the sofa. Just as he began to seriously summarize the areas where his acting could be improved in those scenes, he heard a sigh from the Alpha.

Turning his head, he saw a trace of sadness on his Mr. Ye’s handsome face.

“Sigh…”

Ye Chiyu sighed again, lowering his head with a dejected expression.

“What’s wrong? Why are you suddenly sighing?” Su Tang asked hurriedly.

Ye Chiyu looked up at the army of bullet comments still calling Jiang Qingzhi “Wife,” his tone carrying a hint of imperceptible grievance. “Tang Tang, I feel like I should have a sense of crisis.”

“Huh?”

Su Tang tilted his head, confused.

The Alpha held the Omega’s small hand in his, looking a bit resentful, as if afraid someone would snatch him away.

“So many people are calling you ‘Wife.’ Everyone wants to steal you away from me. I’m all alone and weak; how can I compete with them…”

Su Tang couldn’t help but laugh as soon as the Alpha spoke. His beautiful eyes curved into two little crescents, and his fair, slender fingers shyly covered Ye Chiyu’s mouth.

“Mr. Ye,” Su Tang smiled sweetly, leaning most of his weight onto the Alpha. He bent down and couldn’t help but chuckle softly into the Alpha’s ear. “I am your Omega alone. Who has the sheer audacity to try and steal me away, hmm?”

Ye Chiyu still seemed unsatisfied. He grasped the Omega’s wrist and held it gently in his palm, looking very unsure of himself.

“But there are so many people who like my Tang Tang. What if you see someone younger and better-looking than me and stop liking me?”

Su Tang threw his arms around Ye Chiyu’s neck and affirmed, “That won’t happen.”

Although he hadn’t been with Mr. Ye for long, he was certain that from now on, his Alpha would only be Mr. Ye.

The longer they were together, the stronger his feelings for Ye Chiyu became. Su Tang’s affection, perhaps starting from attraction to his looks, had slowly been enveloped and saturated by the Alpha’s gentle love.

“How about we make this temporary mark official?”

Su Tang pointed to the gland at the back of his neck, licked his lips, and issued an invitation.

He wanted to give his Alpha something definitive.

For an Omega to invite an Alpha to give a permanent mark was almost equivalent to saying he would only recognize this one Alpha for the rest of his life.

Ye Chiyu cupped Su Tang’s face preciously, kissed the tip of the Omega’s nose, and brushed Su Tang’s curled eyelashes with his finger, smiling very happily.

“For something as important as making it official, we need to find a master to calculate a lucky date.”
