Chapter 037: An Abrupt Phone Call
Fortunately, his Tang Tang was pursuing a career in the entertainment industry. With this kind of logic, if he went into business, he would likely lose everything, perhaps even getting himself sold in the process.
Ye Chiyu carefully reviewed the IOU that Su Tang had racked his brains to write, then readily signed his name in the creditor’s column with a fountain pen.
The Alpha’s handwriting was powerful yet graceful, the strokes flowing like moving clouds and flowing water; it was top-tier calligraphy.
Su Tang let out a “Wow” and exclaimed, “Mr. Ye, how is even your handwriting so good-looking?”
How many more surprises did this man in front of him have that he didn’t know about?!
He handed the IOU and pen back to Su Tang, waiting for the little guy to sign as the debtor.
“My father was very strict with me since childhood. He started forcing me to practice calligraphy as soon as I entered kindergarten. I was still small then and couldn’t even hold a pen properly, but I was forced to practice a dozen pages of copybooks every day after school. No dinner until I finished.”
“Oh my god, Mr. Ye, that’s too miserable…”
Su Tang, a child who grew up in an orphanage, never had the experience of being forced to study by parents. It was only after being adopted by the Su family that he experienced the pressure of someone watching him do homework every day.
But for him, that pressure of being watched was also a form of happiness; he finally had family members who loved him.
And his mom and dad never withheld dinner just because he didn’t finish his homework. After all, he had been a well-behaved baby since childhood. In elementary school, he was a “Model Student” every year. If it weren’t for Wen Fanxing protecting him, Ye Chiyu felt he might not have seen his brother grow up.
After Su Tang signed his name as the debtor, this IOU was solemnly placed in the study drawer and sealed away.
The afternoon sun was brilliant. Ye Chiyu and Su Tang sat in front of the huge floor-to-ceiling windows, enjoying this rare, cozy afternoon where neither had to work or go to school.
Su Tang leisurely drank the tea the Alpha brewed. The tea fragrance overflowed, leaving a lingering taste in his mouth. He squinted comfortably, basking in the sun.
“Since the contract is terminated, can I delete my old agent’s contact information?”
He was born fair, with exquisite and beautiful features. In the sunlight, the fine fuzz on his face was visible; he looked incredibly lovely.
Ye Chiyu stared at his little Omega with immense satisfaction, unable to look away. “Your previous agent, Lin Xun, had sticky fingers. He’s probably swallowed quite a bit of your money over the past two years.”
“Really?” Su Tang wasn’t very sensitive to money and scratched his head in embarrassment. “I wasn’t really aware of that…”
Ye Chiyu suddenly felt it was necessary to teach his little partner some basic knowledge so he would be more vigilant in the future.
“Tang Tang, didn’t you notice that the money you received didn’t quite match the company’s percentage stated in your contract?”
Su Tang sheepishly put down the teacup in his hand, looking awkward.

Ye Chiyu spoke slowly, “From now on, if there are any contracts to sign, let me look at them for you. What I read most every day are various contracts. With me here, I definitely won’t let you get scammed.”
“Okay!”
Su Tang nodded like a pounding garlic pestle. A contract personally reviewed by Mr. Ye definitely couldn’t go wrong!
“Tang Tang, there’s something I want to ask your opinion on.”
Since he didn’t have to go to the company that afternoon, Ye Chiyu had time to have a good talk with Su Tang.
“Hmm? What is it?” Su Tang turned his head.
Ye Chiyu held the Omega’s hand. The scent of pheromones on his body made Su Tang feel refreshed and happy.
“You’ve terminated your contract with Chengran Entertainment. Have you considered signing with another agency?”
“Not yet…”
Actually, it wasn’t that Su Tang hadn’t considered finding another agency. But he currently had no major works and no popularity. Those big agencies probably wouldn’t sign him.
Ye Chiyu extended an olive branch to him. “Tang Tang, what do you think about Lingyu?”
“But isn’t Lingyu your family’s company, Mr. Ye? If I go to Lingyu, and our relationship is revealed in the future, will it affect the company’s operations? Like stocks plummeting or something?”
Su Tang started to worry for his Alpha, completely failing to consider that revealing he was married might have a more serious impact on his own career as an actor.
“Baby, there’s one thing you probably don’t know.”
Ye Chiyu pulled his dazed little Omega into his arms. He rubbed his face against the gland at the back of Su Tang’s neck, opened his mouth, and gave a gentle bite, injecting his pheromones.
The pheromones of an S-class Alpha were like a lethal poison to an Omega. Su Tang’s body instantly heated up, and he began to lie on the Alpha regardless of consequences, wanting kisses and hugs.
“Shareholders prefer a CEO who is married with a stable partner. If the news of my marriage to you is released, my Tang Tang would actually add billions to Ye Corporation’s market value.”
“Wow, am I that valuable…”
Ye Chiyu’s voice bewitched the Omega who was barely holding on. Su Tang’s green tea scent was invaded and occupied by the rich whiskey, and desire climbed to the peak.
Su Tang’s phone rang abruptly. Flushed and panting, he anxiously hung up the call from the unknown number.
Just as he hung up, the Alpha’s phone started ringing.
Su Tang was both anxious and angry. Looking at the caller ID, it was the same number from just now!
